“We never used Rover or any pet sitter service before and we were lucky that Bonnie lives nearby and had availability. When we met, both us and Isabella could tell she takes this responsibility seriously and is an avid pet lover. We couldn’t be more pleased with Bonnie’s gentle way with our older kitty. Isabella usually stressed a bit while we are away but she greeted Bonnie each day and enjoyed the time Bonnie stayed to visit. We got detailed feedback on visit, cute photos and personal notes from Bonnie. We definitely look forward to her visiting again when we travel.”

“Shawn dropped in to take care of our two cats multiple days during our long vacation. It was a huge relief knowing they were in good hands and getting photos each day. She followed our detailed feeding instructions that involved wet food with medication mixed in, and measuring out dry food on a scale. She also gave us detailed updates on their behavior and it was clear she really cared about their comfort and mood while we were gone. Thank you Shawn, would definitely book again!”

“Sabine was great. She took care of my big girl Maine Coon Suka. She was professional and you could tell she loves animals and that she new how to interact with cats. Suka came up to her and let her pet her on the meet and greet. I would hire Sabine again.”

“Leaving my kitty with Anna put my mind at ease when I was away! She paid so much attention to detail when caring for Lucius, sent multiple updates, and had great communication. She is someone I will choose any time I need care and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Julia was amazing. This is the first time we had her take care of Duke and she was absolutely a pro at handling Duke. She was communicative, responsible, and most importantly very loving towards Duke and his needs. She kept us in the loop, remembered the little things aside his overall routine, asked for extra information to make sure she could take care of Duke the best way possible. She was extremely respectful of the space and we felt very very comfortable leaving our fur baby in her charge for the two days that we were gone. Her updates on the app were always detailed, her notes were personalized, and always heartwarming, she never missed any detail and made sure Duke didn’t miss us. From the photos it looked like Duke barely noticed that we were gone and had a great time with Julia. Given that Duke is an 80 lbs dog she was amazing at handling and walking Duke given that Duke can at times be a puller but she managed to create a bond with him quickly and settle him into a pace where he got better eventually in the walks. We will try and have her take care of Duke EVERY TIME ( if possible ) when we are not around and if Julia is willing and available. Thank you from the Mitras ❤️”

“Zika did a great job watching my cat! He provided me with a timely update as well as a variety of cute pics. I was very happy with the communication. I’ll definitely reach out again.”

“Hillary was a great find in the "eleventh hour" of my search for service. She dropped in and took really good care of my dog while I was far away for the day. I felt confident from our first texts and Hillary's generous effort to come to my home for a meet n greet. Hillary followed through with great communication, lots of photos and follow up texts. I would call her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her services ! Thank you so much!”

“Jacqueline was wonderful. She was able to accommodate our super last minute request and was super communicative while we were away. I appreciated the photos and prompt check ins - I would recommend her to anyone looking to leave their pet in good hands.”

About: I have experience caring for senior pets, including a 19-year-old dog and a 22-year-old cat, and know how to provide them with the extra love and attention they need. I’ve also looked after pets with unique challenges, like those who aren’t friendly with kids or other animals, as well as pets with conditions like deafness, blindness, or dementia. I always adapt to what each pet needs to make them feel comfortable, happy, and safe. I’m also used to managing multiple pets in one home and have cared for all kinds of animals—lizards, turtles, fish, and more. The only animals I don’t handle are snakes and spiders (they make me a little nervous), but other than that, I’m ready to help. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they’re well cared for. My experience with senior pets and animals with special needs sets me apart, and I’d love to help care for yours! As an 18-year-old high school senior, I’ve worked pet care into my daily routine by being available early in the mornings from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM and later in the afternoons from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekdays. On weekends, I’m more flexible and can visit between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM. I’ve planned my schedule to make sure I can provide dependable care while balancing my schoolwork. Most visits are 15 to 30 minutes, but I’m happy to adjust for longer walks or extra playtime if your pet needs it—just let me know! When caring for pets in my clients' homes, the majority of visits include feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter, going for a walk, and playtime. I can also help with household tasks like bringing in mail and packages, as well as opening and closing curtains or turning lights on and off to make the home appear lived-in. Each visit is customized to meet the specific needs of your pet, whether it’s extra playtime, a longer walk, or special care for senior or special-needs pets. I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets at the same time if they live in the same household. At the end of each visit, I provide a summary of what happened and send multiple pictures of your pet so you can stay connected and know they’re well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve had pets since I was 10 years old. I currently have two dogs (Callie and Zoey). I have experience with administering meds to cats and dogs. Before having kids, we fostered dogs through a dog rescue. I’ve dealt with all kinds of pet personalities including scared, aloof and reactive. I can provide walks, potty breaks, feedings, medication administration and even vet visits. Currently a stay at home mom - my two kids will be in school starting in September. I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate most requests with advance notice. I have the most availability during the school day and some evenings. Can also be available weekends! I cannot offer care in my home currently but I’m very aware of safety when it comes to clients pets. I have experience with escape artists and am familiar with martingale collars, double leashing and of course being extra cautious when entering and exiting your home.

About: I cared for my dog for twelve years and spent all the time with him until his last day.. I know very well how dogs are our best friends. In my free time I spend time with my friends and their dogs so I have experience in communicating with different dogs. I will treat your dog as mine and will give lots of love. We can stay indoors to play games and exercise safely or there are beautiful parks nearby where we can take a walk and explore around. I'll be happy to meet you in person before completing the booking request and answer any questions you might have. Thank you and hope to see you soon ☺️

“Abby was a good match for Bullet. She arrived when expected and spent an hour with him. The photo she sent us showed a happy and smiling dog! We are thankful for Rover connecting us with pet lovers.”

About: Hi there! I'm Devika (she/her), and I also identify as certified dog aunt to all dogs in the land. In all seriousness, I feel very attuned to dogs specifically, even those with diverse temperaments and needs. I grew up with a family dog, a shih-tzu named Leo, who passed away after a beautiful 17 years. After graduating, I didn't have the resources to commit to a full-time dog as much as I love them. There began my fostering journey during which I cared for 10+ dogs (varied breeds, sizes, and ages), anywhere from a few days to several months. During their time with me as their foster mom, these pups were able to acclimate to domestic life and work towards getting ready for their forever homes. Each foster experience was unique and I learned something new from each pup. That curiosity and attentive care is what I bring to dog care. Outside of my endless love for pups, I am also a clinical psychology doctoral student which brings a whole other facet to my dog care. With my background in trauma, anxiety, and behavioral interventions, I also bring an astute and knowledgeable eye to caring for animals. This includes trauma-informed care (no restraints unless absolutely necessary for safety), thoughtful approaching, and gently authoritative training (only if indicated). Importantly, I completely respect the autonomy of pet-owners in how they want to raise and care for their pet, and will carry out duties to a tee. My top priority is for your pet to feel safe and loved, and for you to have peace of mind while you leave your baby in my care. Please reach out with any questions and I'd love to connect more! I am available on weeknights and weekends to for dog-walking, drop ins, and house sitting. I can dedicate my time to providing your animal with utmost care. I live close to Beaver Brook Reservation and am also able to go to more secluded areas if your dog is sensitive or has other needs. I provide updates during your pup's time with me and am a strong communicator about scheduling. I care for pets in a safe, thoughtful, and generous way. I am able to adapt to the dog's needs, and am happy to accommodate to the level of care you prefer and need. I am so excited to meet you and your pup!
