About: I am a dog owner for the past 7 years and own two Setter pups. Friends have entrusted me with their dogs for petsitting and dog walking - in some occasions I would have as many as 4 dogs with me, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! As a dog parent I know how important is to have someone you trust with your baby, I will treat your dog as my own, making sure your dog is safe and happy! I mostly work from home during the week, which allows me to be flexible to go on a walk with your pup to get some fresh air or do a drop in visit to spend some time with them. When I drop in to check on your pup or take on a walk, I will always follow your instructions closely and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. During walks, I will keep a close eye on them, always be on leash, and make sure they get the right amount of exercise based on their energy level. Afterward, provide a quick pupdate so you know your pup is happy and well taken care of.

About: I'm a mother of 2 small children, so I'm excellent at multi-tasking and thinking on my feet. I've taken care of my own dog for 10 years before having children, and understand the joy it brings dogs to go on walks and experience all the smells throughout the neighborhood. I also know that dogs are part of the family (my dog was like my baby), so I take this role very seriously. I work from home every day except Thursday, so I have more availability. Also available most weekends at some point during the days and evenings. I take great care to follow the family's instructions with feeding, walking, and playing. I have watched my brother-in-law's dog in my home and she thrived here while he was out of town.

About: I am currently a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist working in acute care. (I work 8am - 4:30pm Sun-Thursday) in the Huntley area, but live in Arlington heights so I am flexible with locations. (For drop in visits or day care I am able to provide for those closer to my location. House stays I can work around being near my home or near my work) I will do my best but cannot make every request happen! I have always grown up with a dog in the house. I have had experience with a my family dog who was blind and deaf and required insulin for diabetes. I worked 5+ years at a Kennel for boarding and grooming in the summers. There I interacted, cleaned cages and yards, fed, did plays and walks. Dogs boarding at the kennel were of all breeds, sizes and ages. I also dog sit for friends, going to their house throughout the day to interact and feed dogs or staying in the home. Being in graduate school I enjoy the stress relief that dogs can provide and love being welcomed home by a wagging tail. I understand the patience it takes with some dogs and that each dog is unique. To care for a dog you must get to know who the dog is, likes and dislikes, and their routines. All dogs deserve attention, care and love! I currently work full time: Sundays to Thursdays (8am to 4:30pm), I am willing to always do house sitting to stay with an animal. I will make sure I can commit and give an animal the proper amount of time before agreeing on the request. I also am willing to do walks and plays on my days off and when home from work. I cannot care for animals in my apartment at this time so I love staying at clients homes to get my time with furry companions. At a clients home I will make sure I ask and understand how to best control a dog when inside or outside (if gates are used, leashes, fences). I also want to make sure I know how the dog best interacts with new people and how they normally act so I can be aware if there is a change in their behavior that needs to be addressed or so I can tell if they are stressed with a change in their schedule. I like to best replicate their typical schedule and daily life to limit any stress

About: I’ve taken care of pets whether it would be neighbors or friends of friends. The people who I’ve pet sat for would say I’m very reliable and go over the top with care. I’m currently working full time from 6 am to 1 pm. I’m off early and can spend time taking care of pets and anything else pet owners may need. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure the environment is clean, calm, and pet-friendly, removing anything that could be harmful or stressful for the animal. In my home, I keep a consistent routine — regular feeding times, playtime, potty breaks, and quiet time — to help pets feel safe and settled. I never leave pets unsupervised in unfamiliar areas and always make sure they have access to fresh water, a cozy place to rest, and plenty of love and attention. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their instructions carefully and try to maintain the pet’s usual routine to reduce stress. I treat every home with respect, and I’m reliable, tidy, and fully focused on the pet’s needs. I also send regular updates and photos so the owners can feel at ease and know their pets are in good hands.

About: I have been pet-sitting and walking ever since I was a little kid! Growing up, I mostly took care of pets in my neighborhood, for family members, or for friends. I also have had pets of my own. I love animals and really enjoy spending time with them whether it's playing, going for a walk, or just hanging out on the couch. I used to work for a doggy daycare, so I learned a lot about dog behavior, training, and administering medications. I'm also very comfortable cleaning up after pets. I am available most days for dog walking or short play time visits. However, I prefer pet-sitting and am available every day of the week for that. I follow the care instructions given to me by the owner to ensure the best care is given. I usually stay at around the house I’m pet sitting at, but if I need to leave I make sure to stop by the house throughout the day to check on the dogs I pet-sit for so they aren't home alone for too long. I also send pictures to the owner at least once a day to update them on how/ what we're doing.
