I share my home with my partner, and together we have years of experience caring for pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. What sets us apart is the personal attention and understanding we bring to each pet. We take the time to learn each pet’s unique personality, daily habits, comfort level, and what helps them feel safe and happy in a new environment. We have experience with feeding routines, walks, playtime, enrichment, and recognizing when a pet needs extra patience, comfort, or quiet time. We understand that every pet is different. I work full-time during the day from 10:30 AM–6:30 PM, and Erika works 9 AM-5PM. While we are away, pets have a consistent routine, and once we are home, they receive plenty of attention and care. Whoever arrives home first is ready to greet the pets, provide potty breaks, meals, playtime, and any attention they need. My job is only about 10 minutes from home, so I have the flexibility to accommodate additional check-ins or special needs when needed, including extended lunch breaks for pets who require extra attention. On weekends, we are home and able to provide extra companionship, backyard time, play, and relaxation. We understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s normal routine and creating a calm environment where they feel safe and cared for while away from their family. We prioritize safety, comfort, and trust for every pet that stays in our home. We live in a 3-story townhome with a fully fenced backyard, providing a secure space for outdoor time. Our finished basement offers a dedicated pet area where pets can have their own quiet space to relax, or have separation when needed. We understand that every pet has different comfort levels and needs. If you would like your pet to have companionship during their stay, we can arrange a slow and supervised introduction with our pets to make sure everyone is comfortable. If your pet prefers their own space, we can keep pets completely separated for the entirety of their stay. Our own pets will have access to the upstairs third level of our home, allowing us to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Our home already includes two small dogs and a cat, so we have experience managing pets with different personalities, routines, and boundaries.

We have never left our Sophie for a full eight days before. The decision to do so was a bit nerver-wracking but, with Amanda agreeing to sit with Sophie, we felt much, much more at ease. Amanda was extremely perceptive regarding Sophie's wants and needs and responded perfectly. Amanda also wanted deep details to help her respond to Sophie. Probably the best compliment we can give Amanda is that, when we returned, Sophie was thrilled to see us, but was not needy or clingy. She moved immediately into her regular behaviors and we give Amanda all the credit. We will be calling her in the future.
Betsy was an outstanding pet/house sitter. She communicates clearly, is exceptionally responsible and trustworthy, and brings a great deal of experience. She took care of my 2 year old cat, and it was so clear to me that her interest in animals is sincere and has been lifelong. She warmed up to my cat immediately. Ashley was fantastic! She housesat for our two pups who don’t do well being alone. She gave them lots of attention and treats. She sent many updates and was very communicative the entire time. She followed all of our instructions and made sure the dogs were taken care of.
