I will be using Rover for part time work but I do have flexible availability! I have stepped away from full time work all together for the foreseeable future. I am a morning person and I would love to spend some time outside with your pup whatever the weather may be. I enjoy walking outside even in zero degree weather!

Safety, trust & environment

I am happy to accommodate any routine you need for your fur babies. Greeting your pet is important, especially if I am new to them. I will give them food and water and clean dishes as advised by you. I will take them for a walk or outside to play and go potty depending on what they are up for. If you need pills or treatments or any kind to be administered I can absolutely do that.

Information Caitlin M. would like to know about your pet

It's great for me to know about your pets personality ahead of time. Pets have their quirks just likes humans do. A lot of times instincts can win over inhibitions with a new person around and that's okay! Just let me know of any possible stressors or behaviors. Please let me know of any medical conditions ahead of time (for example if your pet has signs of an ear infection let me know if you are treating it already or are waiting to get in for an appointment etc).

A typical day

Mental stimulation is just as important as physical activity. What does your pet like to do? Whether it's playing fetch, belly rubs, or getting in as many sniffs as possible I will do my best to make your pet feel at ease while you are away.

Pet care experience

I feel strongly about the human animal-bond and I believe your pets deserve the best care possible! My experience goes back to childhood since I've had cats and dogs my whole life. I've walked neighbors dogs and even watched a friend's horses while she was out of town. I walked dogs at a humane society as a kid. I worked for a pet sitting company for a little over a year. I began school to become a CVT in 2020. After graduating and passing the board exam I entered the field of veterinary care in 2023. My schooling did include kennels- aka walking, cleaning up after and caring for the rescued dogs and cats we learned on (they were adopted out at the end of each semester). I also have helped walk boarding pets at veterinary hospitals. I can do medical treatments on your fur baby if necessary. I am open to watching exotic pets. I have a huge admiration for spicy cats. Rover is a part time job for me but I have flexible availability. I am your person for kitty visits, house sitting, walks for dogs under 40 lbs and select dog walks for babies over that size.

Highly recommend!! I have a whole crew of animals (ranging from a crazy younger cat, a few senior cats with special needs, and two very active and needy Great Pyrenees) and she took very good care of every single one of my fur babies. She gave them the pets that needed meds every day their meds, made sure to give each pet their proper diet and supplements, played with them lots, even asked if I wanted her to cut my pets nails while she was there. She sent me tons of videos and pictures, communication was great!! I highly recommend Caitlin!

I highly recommend Caitlin as a pet caregiver. Her background as a trained veterinary technician gives her a massive advantage, allowing her to recognize health issues and handle medical needs with professional confidence. Beyond her technical expertise, Caitlin has a deep, genuine love for animals that shines through in everything she does. She is an incredibly responsible and solutions-oriented caregiver who stays calm under pressure, quickly solving any challenges that arise while keeping your pet safe and comfortable. Your animals will be in the absolute best hands with Caitlin.
