About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals is truly a passion of mine. I currently have one dog and two cats who are a huge part of my family, we love them dearly and treat all pets in our home the same way. I work part-time, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to give your pup lots of attention, playtime, and care. I’m available for both weekday and weekend boarding, and my schedule is very open. I live near several trails and parks, so walks and outdoor time are a big part of the experience here. I also have a very active 8 year old Lab named Layla who absolutely adores people and other dogs. She’s friendly, playful, and loves having company. Because I have two cats in the home, visiting dogs must be cat-friendly. At this time, I’m not able to accommodate pit bulls or pit mixes. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities, and I aim to make them feel right at home while they’re with us. PLEASE ONLY DOGS THAT ARE HOUSE TRAINED! I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup! In my home your pet will be family to us. While your pup is in my home, she will go on walks and plays right along side my dog. Your pet will have full range of our home, and will be treated no differently than my dog, so your dog might come home more spoiled than ever!
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I, myself, have had several different dogs - Newfie's, Shar Pei mix, Lab mix, Mastiff mix and currently have a Bernese Mountain Dog. During gatherings with friends, I can be found by the dog. I work from home during the days I "rover" and so your pet will be well taken care of and their needs well managed. Because I have my own dog, your pup will be allowed to join us for our daily car rides with the window down, long walks (at least 2x daily) and if the weather is nice, a splash or two in the kiddie pool. I have a fenced in yard and am nearby the Prairie Path so long walks are often on the daily agenda. I have a Bernese Mountain Dog.
“Ingrida did an excellent job! Our puppy was worn out everyday from all the play time. She accommodated us at the last minute and sent pictures throughout the day with status updates. We will be using her again!”

“Justine and Brett were fantastic! By the time I picked up my little pup, he was all tired out from all the attention and playtime they had with him. So grateful to them for watching my pet!”

“Fancy had a great couple of days with Jean and Al. She and another puppy ran until they couldn't run any more. Fancy fell asleep the moment we got home. She woke up long enough to have dinner and then went back to sleep for the night. The next day she did it all over again. I will absolutely have Fancy stay with Jean and Al again! Thank you, Jean and Al.”

About: Hi! I am Monika and I currently live in Platt Park area. I am free most weekends and I absolutely love all animals especially dogs! I will take care of your dog like it is my own. I know how hard it is to leave your dog alone all day or while on vacation and I would love to help out to make their day more special. I volunteer at Dumb Friends League animal shelter as a dog walker and I have always had dogs in my life except for right now. I am friendly, responsive and like to be outdoors. About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for my own pets, including dogs, cats, and fish, as well as caring for others’ pets. My experience includes dog walking, playing fetch and other enrichment activities, feeding, administering basic care, cleaning litter boxes, maintaining aquariums, and providing attentive, loving companionship to animals of all personalities and energy levels. After getting laid-off in the corporate world, I’m spending more time doing what I truly love - caring for animals and helping people feel at ease while they’re away from their pets. I understand how stressful it can be to trust someone else with your furry family members, and I’m here to provide dependable, loving care and peace of mind. I care for pets as if they were my own by providing a safe, loving, and structured environment tailored to each pet’s needs and routine. In my home and clients’ homes, I follow feeding schedules carefully, provide fresh water, administer basic care, take dogs on walks, play fetch and enrichment games, and make sure pets get plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. I also clean litter boxes, monitor behavior for signs of stress or illness, and keep owners updated with photos and messages so they feel comfortable while away.
“I couldn't be happier with the care our puppy received during his first stay with Ashley. From the moment I dropped him off, I felt confident that he was in great hands. I received frequent updates and adorable pictures and videos throughout the day, which really put our minds at ease. The activities she planned were perfect for keeping him engaged and learning. When I picked him up, he was happy and completely worn out from all the fun! We will definitely be booking with Ashley again. Highly recommend!”

York Center dog parents share their Rover experiences
Maureen is absolutely the best! We were in Chicago for a wedding and needed someone to take care of our Bernedoodle — my whole world — while we were there, and she was amazing. I only wish I lived closer because I would use her all the time! Thank you, Maureen! Mocha says thank you too! She truly was such a blessing, and I give her my highest recommendation.

Sarah was available for a last minute request on Thanksgiving Day! What a lifesaver. She sent us videos throughout the day and when asked if she could extend to an overnight stay she didn’t hesitate. My fur baby came home healthy & safe after a fun-filled day at Sarah’s! I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend too!

We booked with Eliza last minute on Thanksgiving day & that alone was such a lifesaver, & immediately put us at ease. She was so kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Her home felt warm, safe, and even her mom was there. You could immediately feel the genuine kindness and warmth they were offering, and we just knew they would be so sweet with our pups. I got photo updates throughout the visit. I’m so grateful Eliza accepted us last minute. She took such great care of our babies! Her communication is truly above and beyond. Every message and update made us feel reassured and so grateful. We would absolutely book with her again!
