“Jake was absolutely fantastic!! It was our first time ever using Rover and he made us feel very at ease dropping our dogs off. Would highly recommend Jake and will definitely be using him again!”

“Renee was amazing with Ruby! Ruby had soooo much fun with her dog, Toffee, over the weekend. I got plenty of pictures and updates throughout which gave me great peace of mind. I don’t think Ruby even wanted to come home at the end, I will definitely be booking with Renee again!”

“David did a great job watching our dog. He provided us with timely updates as well. I highly recommend David war hing anyone's dog as he clearly has a lot of experience and cares about the dogs he watches.”

“Kristina took amazing care of Darby!! She bought her toys and treats. I could tell Darby had a great time and I enjoyed my vacation knowing my dog was in good hands :)”

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all sizes for friends and neighbors, but I also have volunteer as a Day Adventurer at ACCT. This has given me invaluable experience with diverse temperaments and leash-handling for dogs of all sizes. I grew up with dogs, but don’t currently have one of my own. Whether your dog requires a strict crate schedule, specific walk times, or high-energy exercise, I am happy to do whatever they need to feel safe and enjoy their time while your away. Availability: I recently ended employment at Penn as a Project Manger in June and currently enjoying summer- working from home on applications so I am ideally suited for dogs who enjoy a morning and evening "adventure" with a calm midday nap! My apartment is adjacent to park and SRT. I currently work full time as a research project manager at Penn M-F 9-5 with occasional WFH. I am free weekends for adventures with your pup. My apartment is neat and your dog can be free to roam or if has a certain crate schedule happy to follow. Right outside my apartment is a park with lots of green space and close to schuylkill river trail.
“Lucy had another awesome stay with Fran and friends. Lucy injured her paw a few days before our vacation, which was not ideal but, of course, Fran took excellent care of her. Fran and I scheduled a call to go over Lucy’s care needs before her stay, which included medications and a daily Epsom salt soak for her paw. Fran took excellent care of all of Lucy’s extra needs. At the end of her time with Fran, Lucy was happy as usual, and her paw was fully healed! So appreciative of Fran, Curtis, and Rosie, for their hospitality and excellent care of Lucy!!”

“Michell is a great dogsitter!! He is very communicative and sends pictures regularly. Most importantly, our dog always comes home happy and healthy! We highly recommend using Michell for boarding!”

“Danielle is the best! She watched our two pups for a few days and we felt so comfortable leaving them with her. I know our pups were so loved while we were gone. She kept us updated each day with how the pups were doing. Would recommend her to anyone!”
“Jasmine was great with our two dogs while we were out of town. She had amazing communication during the visit and took great care of them. They also had a great time playing with her dog. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have an ESA pitbull mix and we both have some anxiety issues. Together we've come a long way. I don't travel for work much and had a day trip that required an overnight stay for Nico. I reached out to Christine with very little notice (day before) and she agreed to watch Nico for me. Pit bulls very much get a bad rap and I'm so glad and fortunate to have found an advocate of the breed that knows their inherent sweetness, beauty, intelligence and gentle souls.”

“Mygan was amazing! She took such great care of my Charlie! She was so kind and thoughtful. She sent pics daily like I asked and she even did well with his medication. Thank you so much I will definitely rebook!”

“My dog was cared for so well during her first visit. Tim was so nice and sent pictures. His dog Maui was so gentle and I am sure never bothers the dogs they are caring for.”

“Christina took great care of our pup! She sent cute pictures and kept us updated the whole time! He loved her and was very happy and relaxed with her. We’d definitely use her services again!”

“Electra and Crescent were great!! Such warm people and natural animal lovers. They took such good care of our dog when he stayed with them and were extremely communicative, sending tons of pics and updates. Our dog clearly loved them and felt very comfortable in their home!! Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Megan did a great job caring for Ruby and I appreciated that she was willing to meet up beforehand to make sure that her dog and Ruby would get along. I’d happily book Megan again!”

“Chazz was so great! He instantly put my mind at ease about leaving my dog Zelda overnight for the first time and when I picked her up, she was calm and happy. I’d book again for sure.”

“Kristin was wonderful with Charlie, and when I had a slight change in plans was able to accommodate them very easily. Was always responsive and sent me lots of photos from the weekend. Will definitely send Charlie back!”
“Robert was a great sitter for our dog, Maggie! He was kept us updated the whole time and even asked if he could use ear cleaner for Maggie when she had an itchy ear! The pictures he sent were amazing, we’ll probably have one framed! Maggie came home happy, healthy and tired ☺️”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Wynnewood
Rebecca took such great care of our girl! We can’t say enough good things about her boarding etiquette and experience. We wanted to do a meet and greet which she graciously accepted and accommodated as well. Our girl was so happy being there with her. It’s hard to find good trustworthy individual for your dog and Rebecca is that person. We can’t wait to have her go back again.

Christine was great! Her communication with me during Bexs stay was comforting considering this was the first time I have left my dog with someone. Christine was caring towards Bex and they both seemed to enjoy their time together. I will definitely consider again if ever I need to have the opportunity.

Deseree took great care of Chloe! She kept me updated with daily photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She even let me drop Chloe off the night before so I wouldn’t have to worry about it the morning of my flight. She’s very sweet, and I would definitely trust her to watch Chloe again!

I can’t recommend Alexandra enough! She has been taking care of my dog, Milo, for quite some time now, and I always have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in her care. She and family truly treat Milo like he’s their own. He’s always so well cared for, loved, and honestly spoiled in the best way possible. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she watches, and it shows in everything she does. She’s reliable, kind, attentive, and always keeps me updated, which means so much. Milo is always happy to see her, and that says it all. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, she’s the one. I wholeheartedly recommend her!

Jennifer is the best dog sitter, we love bringing my dog Nico with her. I know he is going to be cared for when we drop him off and she provides excellent communication and picture updates. Nico is happy to see her always - she is a gem among dog sitters we are so greatful to have found her!

Jessica was absolutely amazing with Louie! She was kind, sweet, patient, and took great care of him throughout his stay. She also allowed us to do a meet and greet beforehand, which made us feel very comfortable leaving Louie in her care. What stood out most was how compassionate and understanding she was when we received unfortunate news during our trip. She truly went above and beyond during a very difficult time, and we appreciated her kindness so much. We would absolutely recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter, and we would gladly book with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
