1. Morning Walks & Feeding: I start my day early, so morning walks and feedings are easy to fit into my routine. I enjoy getting fresh air and movement first thing, and pet care fits perfectly into that rhythm. 2. Midday Check-ins or Playtime: I often work from home or have a flexible midday schedule, so I can do potty breaks, walks, or play sessions during lunch hours. These breaks actually energize me and give structure to my day. 3. Evening Wind-down: Evening walks, dinner, and some cuddle time are a nice way to unwind from the day. I usually reserve evenings for low-stress activities, and spending time with pets is relaxing and fulfilling. 4. Sleepover Flexibility: I'm available for overnight stays when needed and plan ahead to ensure I'm fully present for the pets in my care.

Routine and Comfort I follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible—feeding, walks, potty breaks, and playtime—so they feel safe and secure. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality, preferences, and energy level, adjusting my approach to meet their needs. 🍽️ Feeding and Hydration I prepare meals according to the client’s instructions and make sure fresh water is always available. I double-check feeding schedules and portion sizes to ensure consistency. 🧼 Cleanliness and Hygiene I clean up after the pets—litter boxes, food bowls, toys, and accidents if they happen—so the home stays tidy. I wipe paws if needed after walks and make sure pets are comfortable and clean. 🎾 Exercise and Enrichment I play with dogs or cats to keep them active and engaged—walks, toys, fetch, laser pointers, or cuddles depending on what they love. If the pet is older or has health needs, I provide gentle interaction and quiet companionship. 🩺 Health and Safety I monitor for any changes in behavior, appetite, or health, and I contact the owner immediately if anything seems off. I’m comfortable administering medication if needed (oral, topical, or injection, depending on my experience and your instructions). 📝 Communication and Updates I send daily updates with photos or videos so clients can feel at ease while they’re away. I’m responsive and available for check-ins or questions during the sit. 🛋️ Respect for the Home I treat the home with the same care and respect I would want in mine—tidy, secure, and peaceful. I follow house rules (lights, trash, alarms, etc.) and always leave the home in great shape.

Pet care experience
As an animal lover, I truly feel that being around animals is my happiest place. For the past six years, I've cared for three German Shepherds and a cat-both during the day and overnight. Not only did I enjoy it, but I genuinely craved the relationship. I understand how hard it can be to trust someone-not just with your beloved animals, but also with your home. That's why I take pride in being reliable, respectful, and attentive. I hope to meet you soon.
Reviews

Outstanding Care and Peace of Mind Due to health reasons, I had to find a new pet sitter very last minute after years with the same person, and I was extremely anxious—especially since our 10-year-old Labrador, Bleu, gets stressed when boarded and requires medications at very specific times for arthritis and seizures. From the Meet & Greet, I knew Dion was the right fit. She was reliable, professional, and an excellent communicator even before the booking began. Every day she sent updates and photos, which truly put my mind at ease. She followed all medication instructions perfectly and took wonderful care of Bleu. When we had to return home early due to an impending storm, Dion offered to get groceries for us and even to stay until we arrived in case our flight was delayed. She also checked in afterward and left our home spotless with fresh bedding ,folded laundry and more. Most importantly, Bleu loved her. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Dion and would trust her again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Followed every direction and treated my puppy with so much kindness and patience

Dion is a reliable and loving dog walker who clearly cares about the service she’s providing to pet parents but most importantly, clearly cares for our pet! Luna has been a better puppy after I get home from work on the days she gets to walk with Dion. So grateful we connected!

Dion was excellent! She was caring, she was thrilled to meet our dog, Kohana, she was punctual and highly responsible. She asked all the right questions and went above and beyond in every respect. We would recommend her highly! We will definitely reach out to her in the future.
