I live in an apartment building that has a fenced-in dog park outside, which is perfect for safe playtime and fresh air. I also have a porch that pups love to sniff and relax on. Your pet would stay with me in my apartment and I’d take them to the park at regular intervals to use the bathroom and play.

Please let me know if your pet has any allergies and/or special needs (separation anxiety, etc). Ideally, pups should be potty trained (including in new environments) and/or trained to use a pee pad, and they need to be friendly with other dogs, since I have one myself. Please let me know if any of these don’t apply to your pup and I’ll see what I can do! Please also let me know if you’d rather not receive updates unless there’s an issue. Typically, I send a few updates a day, but I’m happy to provide as many or as few as desired.
A typical day
I have a bunch of dog toys and a fenced-in park by my building where the dogs can play and have fun in the fresh air. They’ll also be able to snuggle on the couch or bed in the apartment.

I’ve had two dogs, three cats, and two birds of my own, and I've cared for dozens of my friends’ pets as well. I’ve never met a dog or cat that I didn’t love. I currently have one small mixed breed pup and as a dog owner myself, I know how important it is that you feel your pet is as loved and safe with me as they would be with you. That is always my goal!

Mel took good care of our doggie - within minutes he was happily walking into her building and she sent a picture of him cuddled up under her desk. He didn't seem stressed or anxious when we picked him up so I feel confident that Mel gave him lots of TLC. She was great at communicating while we traveled as well. Thank you Mel!
