“Danielle is great! Very responsive to messages and very accommodating to our needs, even with last minute changes due to bad weather or scheduling issues.”

“Christel is extremely communicative and responsive....but most importantly, our dog genuinely enjoys his walks with her. She does a thorough job walking him around the neighborhood, allowing plenty of time for sniffing.....AND she has the patience to deal with our cranky old dog when he just doesn't wanna go outside. She's successfully lured him downstairs and coaxed him into his much needed walks several times. She is our regular walker for a reason!! Highly recommend.”

“I feel very comfortable at work knowing Toni will take good care of my doggo! J Rock has been having some health concerns and Toni has adapted easily to his new routine.”

“Mandy is extremely responsible and really works to get to know your pet. I would strongly recommend Mandy to walk or watch your dog!”

“Kevin was great! He came by to get introduced before the first walk. we got updates on when he arrived, how the walk went and photos! Larry was happy and we felt that he was in good hands while we were await for the day.”

“My dog is a ball of energy but Alex handled her like a champ. They came on short notice after I injured my ankle and couldn’t walk my dog. I can tell Chell had a great time because she refused to go inside and wanted to watch Alex leave and then she plopped down on the floor the second she got home for a rest. Will definitely keep them in mind next time I need help with Chell!”

About: I have experience from young dogs to old cats. I believe that compassion and patience are the key to quality care for the important animals in your lives I am currently a student at Ithaca college and I am a recruit for the women's varsity rowing team. Pet care fits into my schedule whenever a pet parent may need help. My class and practice schedule does provide some time constraints but I am able to work with the pet parents to make sure their pets are properly taken care of. Before moving into college I had given my two cats full time care for their daily, medical, and emotional needs. I had always been at their attention due to some of the issues my own pets have which provides me insight into what a pet may be going through and allowing me to act quickly when something may be happening. Because I am in college my cats care is now in my parents hands which provides no restraints to how I can care for other peoples pets.

“Cece is very reliable and conscientious. I appreciate her being able to walk Lola on such a short notice. Highly recommend!”

About: I don’t just watch pets, I connect with them. I’ve cared for everything from high-energy puppies to senior pets with medication needs. I pay close attention to each animal’s personality, routine, and comfort level so they feel safe and loved while you’re away. What really sets me apart is my patience, reliability, and intuition with animals. I treat every pet like family, not just a job. Whether it’s a belly rub, a specific feeding routine, or a nervous pup that needs extra reassurance. I notice the little things and take them seriously. Plus, I always send plenty of photos and updates so you never feel out of the loop. Your dog will never be left alone for long! I’m home most evenings and fully available on weekends. I also live with family, so even when I step out, there’s always someone home to give your pup love, attention, and care. They’ll always have love and supervision in a safe home. Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I have a spacious, fenced backyard for supervised outdoor play and plenty of space indoors to relax. My home is pet-friendly with gates and safety measures from when we had our own dog, so your pet will be comfortable and secure. I’m attentive, patient, and always make sure pets are never left alone for long periods. Whether your dog is high-energy or prefers quiet cuddles, they’ll be loved, watched, and treated like family every step of the way.

“Alexis responded on short notice and was great to work with. She had a very nice rapport with Loki and was prompt and super commutative. Very appreciated!”

“Zandrea is patient, thoughtful, and playful with my anxious and active 3 year old dog. She knows all the tricks to building trust.”

About: Hello, I love animals. I am a cat owner. My husband and I are being a foster family for rescued dogs. It is fascinating to see their recovery. I do home visits both for dogs and cats. I am great for giving medicines. I can give medications and injection for diabetic pets. My cat uses medications and insulin injections twice a day. This situation made me a master of this. You can be sure; I will do everything to make your dog and cat happy. I like to inform you about my visit. I send photos of your dog to you through Rover App. I walk them in where ever you like. I live near Clark Park. If ıs there any emergency situation, I can take them to their veterinarian. I do not want you to worry about your pet, while you are away. I know how important to find someone loves animals. Looking forward to meeting new dog&cat friends.

About: Ive grown up around animals my whole life. My grandmother owned a pet shop in which I was surrounded by many animals. I've worked with small and big dogs, and I have knowledge in puppy training, giving medication, and much more! Im currently only in school 2 days a week and not working, so I have all the time in the world to check up on your furry friends! I have 4 pets at home, so typically Ill be in your space, which just makes things more comfortable for your furry friend! I know how to handle a scared dog, or one that likes to escape as well :)

“Shawna was amazing with our dog Kaiser. This was our first time using Rover and leaving our dog at home and it was seamless. He was super happy. Shawna was very helpful, communicative, and went above and beyond.”

“Meghan was absolutely amazing with my dog and I intend to use her services regularly. She’s friendly, punctual, communicative and best of all clearly understands and has a lot of experience with the minds and behaviors of animals. I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Shawna is so amazing and patient with my very shy dog. He was in love with her after only meeting her twice. I was surprised how quick she got him to warm up. She has been extremely reliably over the past 3 months of walking Apollo, and had never missed a day. She is a total lifesaver for me and my dog. I feel very fortunate to have come across her here on Rover!”

“Joshua was excellent! He met us on the Wharton campus when we needed a dog sitter for a 4-hour class, and he took our puppy all over and then was willing to drop him at not the pickup! He braved thunderstorms and was so flexible to make sure that Puppy McPupperson had an excellent and exhausting afternoon!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was little. I grew up with yellow labs (from puppy stage to elder) and often watched neighbors’ pets, from German shepherds to pugs to goldfish and house plants. Now I pet sit close family/friends’ dogs and cats (and house plants) as needed, but am looking to expand! I have a flexible work from home schedule that allows me the breaks needed during the day for drop-in visits and walks during the work week. I can take dogs for walks, let them out/run around with them in the yard, play with them (inside or outside), clean their paws before coming back in the house, feed them, refill their water, clean up after them. Typical dog care but I’m also open to and capable of specific, individual care instructions.

8. Claire E.
“Claire is one of the most caring people that I know. She has always loved pets - both cats and dogs. She just loves our dog Lucy, but back when we were living together, she voluntarily took the responsibility of caring for Iris, always letting her sleep in her room, giving her treats, brushing her, letting her outside to run around to her heart's content. She used to sit on Claire's shoulder any chance she would get, like a parrot! The two were inseparable, and by visiting home again I can tell that Iris misses her a lot, as she walked up to her room many times wondering where Claire was. Your pets will just love her!”
