About: I have walked and pet sat for 5+ years, and for the past two years, I have fostered rescue dogs as well. I love to hang out with your dog, whether that includes walks, playing, or just hanging out on the couch. I just finished a masters degree and am currently searching for a full time job, so I have a very flexible schedule, with availability on both weekdays and weekends. I am very careful to ensure dogs are safe when I take them for walks or pet sit. I always look for potential dangers (got lots of experience avoiding chicken bones on the street in NYC!) and keeping your dog safe is my top priority.
“Dion was excellent! She was caring, she was thrilled to meet our dog, Kohana, she was punctual and highly responsible. She asked all the right questions and went above and beyond in every respect. We would recommend her highly! We will definitely reach out to her in the future.”

“Rachel was a truly outstanding dog walker! She treated my dog as if it were her own, and constantly went above and beyond. If I could I would rate her it would be 10/10 stars. Rachel was always on time, patient with my dog, and gave her a great walk every day! My dog can be very energetic, and a handful. Rachel handled her like a pro, and always gave me daily updates. She always said the good and bad things which would happen on the walks, and would share lots of photos! I appreciated the feedback, especially since it was so hard leaving my dog. Rachel would constantly go above and beyond to make sure my dog had the best care and walk she could give, even taking her on extra long walks for free just because she loved walking dogs so much. Overall, Rachel is a phenomenal dog walker and I would trust her with my dog any day.”
About: I have been working at a dog boarding and daycare center in Virginia throughout college because of the happiness dogs bring me! I’ve had small dogs my entire life so I’ve learned about how to handle dog reactive dogs safely and securely! I’m currently on summer break, so I am able to work around most schedules for the next couple weeks. I try to stay healthy so walking dogs is a plus! I have a large backyard (unfenced so I would not let the dogs off leash) and one very nice toy poodle who just likes everyone.
“Christel is extremely communicative and responsive....but most importantly, our dog genuinely enjoys his walks with her. She does a thorough job walking him around the neighborhood, allowing plenty of time for sniffing.....AND she has the patience to deal with our cranky old dog when he just doesn't wanna go outside. She's successfully lured him downstairs and coaxed him into his much needed walks several times. She is our regular walker for a reason!! Highly recommend.”

“Kathy is energetic, sweet & my dog loved her! She made sure Molly was walked the full 1/2 hour, was safe and did everything she needed to do (pee & poop). I highly recommend Kathy & will be using her again.”

About: I’ve loved animals ever since I was little, especially dogs. I never had one growing up, but would watch, walk, and feed others’, such as my neighbor’s and grandparents. Since my cat passed away, I have been looking to get a job working with animals. I promise to give your pet a great time and a new friend! I just graduated college May ‘26 and have a few part-time jobs over the summer. I typically have afternoons free, but it varies week by week! Watching your pet is a great way for me to stay active and help others :) I would prefer to watch your furry friends in their own house, seeing as I have many younger siblings, parents with allergies, and not much space for pets to run around. I am very used to minding for the safety of little children, so I will be sure your pet and your home stays well-protected!
About: I’ve had so many different animals in my life I guess you could say at this point I could care for a small zoo?! From rabbits to rats, to lizards to guinea pigs, to birds to hermit crabs to the tried and true cats and dogs I’ve truly cared for and have loved them all. And while I would now consider myself a dog person (hence the boop the snoot tagline). I do have a genuine love for all animals and now wish to share my experience, expertise, love and care with the animals that sometimes need a little extra while their “hoomans” have other things they need to address. I work freelance gigs in the small business space helping with back end business admin and marketing so I can truly make my own schedule which is ideal for cat and dog sitting gigs, no?! I currently have two rescues, a Siamese cat- Edgar Allan Poe (who goes by Poe) and a who knows what dog, (probably a lab/boxer mix, we’ve yet to order a DNA test), named Lucky. Both of my guys are super chill at this point in their lives and have no issues with other animals. With Lucky we take multiple daily walks and do have a fenced in yard, tho it is small and he begs for and prefers walks so it is rarely used as the primary source of going out. (Read that as I am used to and enjoy walks)

“Shawna is so amazing and patient with my very shy dog. He was in love with her after only meeting her twice. I was surprised how quick she got him to warm up. She has been extremely reliably over the past 3 months of walking Apollo, and had never missed a day. She is a total lifesaver for me and my dog. I feel very fortunate to have come across her here on Rover!”

“Kevin showed up on time and gave me great peace of mind because my dog seemed really happy when I came home and I felt like they were in great hands. He communicates well and followed up with me with any questions I had.”

About: Hi! I’m a local dog lover in the Bryn Mawr/Main Line area offering dog walking and in-home pet sitting. I am currently focusing on dog walking as I transition and build my business I’m transitioning into retirement, which gives me a flexible schedule and lets me focus on what I enjoy most—spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for while you’re away or busy. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to get to know each one so they feel comfortable with me right away. Light check-ins, feeding, and morning potty breaks or walks for house sitting clients. ⸻ 🌤 Midday My main dog walking window in the Bryn Mawr/Main Line area. Walks are calm, unhurried, and tailored to each dog’s energy level. ⸻ 🌇 Afternoon Drop-in visits or additional walks if needed, plus companionship time for house sitting stays. ⸻ 🌙 Evening Feeding, evening walks, and making sure pets are settled and comfortable for the night. ⸻ Because I’m transitioning into retirement, I’m able to keep my schedule flexible and focus on providing consistent, attentive care without rushing. I take dogs on long walks. I do have a crate in my home, but typically if I am leaving I set up a bed and den like atmosphere in my second floor laundry room which I gate do the dog stays safe. I run an Airbnb in my third floor so while I can watch dogs in my home, in house at the dog’s home is preferable. I am extremely safety conscious and when I have dogs over I try to keep them in my sight at all times. If they love cuddling, they will get tons of cuddles from me
“Briana has been awesome. Very reliable and easy to communicate with. Our dog is very relaxed and happy when we arrive home. Thank you for being so good with our bucky!”

“I had Katherine walk my dog for 2 days just to see how it would go and everything went great. She was on time, kept me updated with pictures throughout the walk and never had any issues with my dog. I’d recommend her to anyone else and I’ll definitely be using her for future walks.”

Gwynne is everything you could hope for in a dog walker. She walked Lori and Tully and was wonderful with both of them. She is patient, kind, and genuinely a good person, the kind you immediately trust with your dogs. She is also incredibly considerate and detail oriented, never missing a thing and always going the extra step to make sure the pups were happy, safe, and well cared for. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Kristina did a wonderful job caring for Milo. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly very caring with animals. I felt comfortable knowing Milo was in good hands, and I could tell my dog enjoyed the walks and time with her. She was professional, communicative, and went above and beyond. I highly recommend Kristina to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker!

We started our walks recently with Christel and from our first meeting, I knew our dog Zoey was in good hands. She has great vibrant energy, calm, easygoing and puts a lot of love and care into her work. Zoey tried to leave with her after our meet and greet 😂 that spoke volumes! Christel has been great to work with and looking forward to continuing to work with her regularly.

Sheila is AWESOME! She was prompt to respond, courteous, friendly and attentive. She was on time to take my high energy English Bulldog puppy out for walks. She went above & beyond in the attention she gave my dog. This was my first time using Rover and she was great at guiding me through the process. Her communication was direct and clear. She is fantastic and I certainly will be hiring her for future needs.
