“Alyssa was responsive and took great care of our cat. She sent us cute pictures of him during each visit, which is so nice. We'll definitely rebook with Alyssa next time we have to travel!”

“Madeline was wonderful. She tended to my fearful cat while I was away and by the 3rd day, Tini was eating a Churu from her hand. Would absolutely hire again”

“Alexis took excellent care of my cat while I was away for a family wedding!!! I had just recently moved, and my cat is still traumatized by the move. Alexis ensured that he was eating and drinking. And she provided continuous updates, which helped my anxiety about leaving him. Thanks to Alexis I was able to enjoy the wedding!! I won’t hesitate to reach out to Alexis if I need a sitter again.”

“Helena did a great job taking care of our two cats for a week. She came at the agreed-upon time each day, gave them lots of love, pets, and playtime, and sent us pictures that helped us not miss them quite as much; although that’s hard, of course! We felt very comfortable knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Jordan has been phenomenal with my puppy! He's very communicative and gives great recaps, this is so important when you’re trying to train and create a routine with a puppy. I’m so glad to have him helping us, my dog Leroy and I both are thankful for his service!”

“Second time booking with Emily and she was fantastic again! Flexible and responsive. Follows my detailed directions. Picture updates for all visits. Will book again!”

“Christel is awesome and took wonderful care of our two cats. She came twice a day to our home without fail to feed, litter box, and spend time with our boys with lots of love. She updated us regularly and gathered up the mail, packages, and trash cans for us while we were away. She can be trusted with your home and is an exceptional pet sitter. Thank you Christel!”

“I booked Wojciech for a drop in visit with my dog Crew. He came over to meet Crew a couple of days before the drop in visit date. They got along great. On the date of the visit he notified me that he was there and everything was fine. He sent me pictures of Crew and he looked happy. I will definitely be booking with Wojciech again!”

“Everything went smoothly with Jennifer watching my little kitties over the weekend. She provided us with great pics and detailed visitation logs and her communication was great!”

“Mey is the absolute best. So patient and kind with our guy, and very thoughtful and professional with us. You can sense the compassion and mutual respect, and we have loved every minute of having her drop in. Thank you so!”

About: - I grew up caring for four dogs in our home, including raising a pittie pup since 6 months old. - I have care experience with puppies, senior and special needs dogs (deaf), cats, kittens, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, and chickens. - I am skilled in training dogs, positive reinforcement, medication administration, and playtime. - I consider myself to be very affectionate with animals. I'm very observant and intuitive, and can pick up on your pets current needs. Do they want attention, or do they need space? I want your furry friend to feel loved, happy, and safe! My job is completely remote, so I spend a lot of time sitting in front of my computer. I enjoy long walks in the morning and at sunset, and would love the company of your pet. With that being said, I'm able to accommodate a variety of pet needs and schedules. My housesitting rate includes general housekeeping such as trash, recycle, light cleaning, watering plants, and mail pickup. My doggy day care rate includes coverage for up to 8 hours for a normal day of care. Any additional time may incur a small fee. Your pet will be free to roam in my home if you choose to board them. I have a memory foam dog bed, bowls, and lots of toys and treats for them as well. I communicate with you every single day during a housesit. If you prefer less contact (i.e. you are on vacation), I can adjust to your needs. I typically send photos outside of the app to your direct cell, so kindly disregard the Rover percentage. I treat your house if it were my own, and would never invite anyone over. I much prefer the quality time with your pet!
About: I absolutely adore taking care of animals: I have previous experience caring for and walking trained house pets as well as untrained shelter animals. I’m able to provide personalized and reliable care for your pets to keep them happy and safe while you’re away! I’ll make sure to care for the pets like my own, through walks, playtime, feeding and more! I am currently a college student with a flexible schedule, so I always have time to take care of your pets throughout the week! I am available midday every day, as well as evenings most weeknights and weekends. I will always prioritize the care of your pet, making sure to constantly supervise them, engage with them, and make them feel safe and happy. I will prioritize taking them on walks, giving them adequate yard time and exercise, and feeding them during meal times. I will also make sure to communicate with you during care hours, so you know your pet is being well taken care of!
“Melissa has been flexible and supportive when caring for my puppy! She's been thoughtful in suggesting ideas to help Toffee be more comfortable alone (she's not used to my schedule of going back to the office a few days a week yet). I appreciate the ease of mind she provides when I can't be home with my cutie.”

Dion took fantastic care of our cat and dog when dropping in for a walk, or playtime, or putting them to bed! My wife and I loved getting her notes and photos with each Drop-In visit and we could tell the pets both loved her care (although our cat needed a few visits to warm up). I would recommend Dion to any and all of my friends for any pet sitting needs!

Natalia was amazing. Our dog Wicket was well taken care of. He can be a needy-pity and he took right to her. She came over multiple times a day, while we were away. They played inside and outside. She even sat with him on the couch like we do because he’s a 75 pound lap dog. Natalia even read to him. He was a happy pup while we were away. She was great with communication. Tons of stories and pictures. Do not hesitate to reach out to her. She went above and beyond for our boy!!!

Dabney has been so good with our dog. We were in a desperate situation for an all-day thing away from home and we communicated with Dabney just the evening before, late, and she was able to come two times that Saturday to walk our 1yo puppy. We've used her ever since and she's been wonderful. On time, reliable, and good with our dog. Highly recommend Dabney for Bryn Mawr-area dogsitting!

Meera was fantastic and the best dog sitter we have ever had, by far. She made sure our dog’s needs were all met and gave her so much love and companionship during our time away. She was prompt, responsible and provided multiple check in photos a day and constant updates. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Ardmore with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
