Safety, trust & environment

I provide a meet & greet before you book with me and pictures during the pet sitting process! For dogs, I have trained several dogs and can handle both Senior dogs as well as larger dogs (former Newfie parent). For cats, I will make sure your home is cat proof when I arrive and leave (depending on your needs and the cat). I want to make sure that you feel safe leaving your pet in my hands and will ensure to provide a trustworthy and reliable experience!

Information Charlotte R. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet takes any medication, specific preferences or and for dogs whether or not he is reactive to other dogs or humans! This will help me ensure your dog is safe during the duration of my care.

A typical day

My care is highly specialized, it all depends on your pet! I have cared for Senior dogs that just wanted to cuddle, as well as puppies that had a high need for play and potty breaks. I personally really enjoy to mentally stimulate your dogs through performing tricks and training, my childhood dogs were all trained in ZOS, the practice of dogs searching for items through smell without eating or touching the item (commonly used in police K9s). However, this really depends on your dog and their energy level. If you have a very active dog and that needs mental stimulation, I would be more than happy to provide that!

Pet care experience

I know what it’s like to give your beloved pet into the care of a complete stranger. I’m a huge animal lover and will take the necessary time to not only get to know you and your pet but also both of your needs to make the process as comfortable as possible! I grew up with 3 dogs and 2 cats and was involved in their care from an early age as my parents worked. I started pet sitting as a teenager and have had various different clients with different needs, from a stubborn Golden and two cats to two slow walking Frenchies and a Senior poodle with medication needs. Please note that I charge a travel fee for key pick up or drop off beyond an initial meet & greet! In addition, I charge a holiday fee for Easter. Thank you for understanding!

Charlotte always takes the best care of our two cats! She always sends plenty of pictures and updates with each visit, and is very patient with our more antisocial kitty. Would absolutely recommend!

This is the fourth time Charlotte has taken care of my two cats and they absolutely adore her. I always come home to happy and healthy cats, which is probably due to the fact that they get a lot of churu from her. She sends lots of lovely photos of the cats with every check in. I will continue to request Charlotte for any and all pet sitting as long as she’s available!

Charlotte always goes above and beyond to take care of our pets (cats and dog), and I think they like her more than they like us! We're lucky to have found someone as caring and reliable as Charlotte

Charlotte was great with our dog Bruce. Her communications/updates were great - we always knew Bruce was doing fine, and we really appreciated the photos and texts. Also, Charlotte asked great questions prior to the visits and also at the last visit (I forgot to tell her what to do with our house key at the end of the weekend!). Great experience all around.
