“Emily did a great job with our Gordon! This was our first time leaving him and she made us feel as comfortable as we could leaving him. Emily was on time for all walks and sent us at least one pic each visit. Very thankful for her support and for taking care of our boy!”
“Ally is friendly, professional, and most importantly great with our dogs! One of our dogs is very nervous and doesn’t take kindly to strangers but he warmed up quickly to her. We would definitely recommend Ally!”

“Leah was absolutely fantastic! She was so professional and thorough in her care of my cats, Kawhi and Kimchi. I loved the daily updates with several fun and cute pictures. I felt completely at ease knowing my boys were in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Trederica was wonderful! Kept me updated with pictures every visit & accommodated all my needs when it came to my fur baby, would absolutely book her again.”

“Anthony is great! I have an older cat that requires medicine, and I can always count on Anthony to come through and take good care of him. He is reliable, punctual, and caring. I would definitely recommend you book with him!”
“Hannah was amazing to our Gritty Kitty and took such good care of him! He had all the pets, food, and treats he could ever wish for and looked happy in all the pictures she sent!”

About: I've cared for my own dog, dogs of family members, and dogs of neighbors for about a decade. I have particular experience in caring for needy or high-maintenance dogs. Right now I'm wide open since I'm home from college for the summer, so I have plenty of time to walk, feed, house-sit, or whatever you may need for your dog. I'm able to give your dog as much attention as it needs. I'm happy to be hands-on, passive, or anywhere in between depending on the needs of your dog.
“Briana was fantastic, dependable and understanding of our dog’s needs! She also was available on short notice and was a life saver! I highly recommend her”

“Mackenzie was great! She helped with my dog with special needs (deaf, partially blind) over the holidays. She communicated well with updates and pictures every day, and she worked through some bad winter weather! I am very particular with who I trust with my dog, and we would definitely use her again.”

“Mike was absolutely amazing! Had him watch my two cats for almost two weeks. He stayed the whole time , fed , played with them etc. followed our directions and everything went great. Even fed my fish! Thank you Mike !”

About: I have had dogs my entire life. A black lab was my first nanny, and I have baby photos of me sharing my food from my high chair. Friends and family have always relied on me to pet sit their pups when away, and I have both had senior dogs and taken care of friend’s seniors. I’d love to help take care of your fur babies! I work at a school during the day, but during the summer I am available before 8am and after 2:30pm M-Th, with open availability Fri-Sun. I will discuss needs and safety with clients in advance. I am happy to come to your home and follow any instructions you have to keep everyone secure and content.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for 3 years and I also work at a doggy day care. I’m very comfortable and experienced with handling a lot of dogs at once, as well as different sizes, ages, breeds and temperaments. I also have experience caring for sick or injured dogs. On top of dogs, I have experience caring for cats, birds and reptiles. I am currently finishing my psychology degree, and then moving on to my veterinary technician degree. My dream is to work with animals, and I’m eager for more experience to grow my resume! I work Tuesday-Friday, with Thursday and Friday being my longer shifts (8 hours). If your dog is okay being alone for that period of time, or if you only need me for one night, I am completely willing to board those nights! If not, I am completely available the whole day Saturday-Monday. Most of my dog sitting experience has been dog and house sitting in the clients home. I am a very clean and respectful guest, and I feel being at home makes it easier on the dogs when their parents are gone. Being in an unfamiliar place with a person they don’t know can be stressful, overstimulating and anxiety inducing for many dogs. My biggest priority is not only the safety and health but the happiness of the dogs I watch.
“Alexis is so sweet with our old beagle and is very reliable! She communicated well and I felt very comfortable with her watching our dog while we were out of town. Highly recommend!”

“Sydney did an amazing job looking after my dogs! She was reliable and excellent about communicating any issues or questions she had. I loved all the photos she shared and can't recommend her enough!”

About: I’ve raised three dogs through the puppy stages to senior years. Most recently, I’ve helped my brother and sister-in-law train their chocolate lab puppy, while learning boundaries alongside my senior yellow lab. After being laid off from my full time job, I’m available during the day to help your pup get through the work days! I love taking daytime walks and getting exercise. I respect boundaries and will only enter the areas you need and want me to be in. I will treat your space with utmost respect, and leave it as clean as I would prefer my own home to be.
“Melissa has been flexible and supportive when caring for my puppy! She's been thoughtful in suggesting ideas to help Toffee be more comfortable alone (she's not used to my schedule of going back to the office a few days a week yet). I appreciate the ease of mind she provides when I can't be home with my cutie.”

I can’t recommend Stasia enough. She is dependable, caring, and treats my dogs as if they were her own. They absolutely adore her, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing they’re happy, loved, and well cared for when I can’t be there. It’s hard to find someone you can truly trust with your pets, and she has exceeded my expectations every time. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate pet sitter. Your pets will be in excellent hands!

Dion took fantastic care of our cat and dog when dropping in for a walk, or playtime, or putting them to bed! My wife and I loved getting her notes and photos with each Drop-In visit and we could tell the pets both loved her care (although our cat needed a few visits to warm up). I would recommend Dion to any and all of my friends for any pet sitting needs!

Natalia was amazing. Our dog Wicket was well taken care of. He can be a needy-pity and he took right to her. She came over multiple times a day, while we were away. They played inside and outside. She even sat with him on the couch like we do because he’s a 75 pound lap dog. Natalia even read to him. He was a happy pup while we were away. She was great with communication. Tons of stories and pictures. Do not hesitate to reach out to her. She went above and beyond for our boy!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
