“Alexis took excellent care of my cat while I was away for a family wedding!!! I had just recently moved, and my cat is still traumatized by the move. Alexis ensured that he was eating and drinking. And she provided continuous updates, which helped my anxiety about leaving him. Thanks to Alexis I was able to enjoy the wedding!! I won’t hesitate to reach out to Alexis if I need a sitter again.”

“Briana did a great job taking care to of my senior dog. She was punctual and spot on when it came to her care. I was a bit nervous as I hadn’t ever used Rover before but she put my mind to ease right off the bat , My dog is not always comfortable around new people but was completely at ease with Briana.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for 3 years and I also work at a doggy day care. I’m very comfortable and experienced with handling a lot of dogs at once, as well as different sizes, ages, breeds and temperaments. I also have experience caring for sick or injured dogs. On top of dogs, I have experience caring for cats, birds and reptiles. I am currently finishing my psychology degree, and then moving on to my veterinary technician degree. My dream is to work with animals, and I’m eager for more experience to grow my resume! I work Tuesday-Friday, with Thursday and Friday being my longer shifts (8 hours). If your dog is okay being alone for that period of time, or if you only need me for one night, I am completely willing to board those nights! If not, I am completely available the whole day Saturday-Monday. Most of my dog sitting experience has been dog and house sitting in the clients home. I am a very clean and respectful guest, and I feel being at home makes it easier on the dogs when their parents are gone. Being in an unfamiliar place with a person they don’t know can be stressful, overstimulating and anxiety inducing for many dogs. My biggest priority is not only the safety and health but the happiness of the dogs I watch.

About: I’ve been a lifelong pet owner and currently have both dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a part of my daily life. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets with a wide range of personalities and needs, from large breeds like Bernese Mountain Dogs to smaller breeds like French Bulldogs. Because of this experience, I understand that every pet is different and deserves individualized attention, patience, and care. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, sticking to a routine, or just having someone nearby to keep them company, I’m happy to provide the care and attention they need. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I prioritize safety, communication, and making sure both pets and owners feel comfortable. My goal is to make your pet feel happy and cared for while giving you peace of mind when you’re away. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine, allowing me to provide dependable and attentive care throughout the week. I am generally available on weekdays and can accommodate a variety of schedules, whether your pet needs morning visits, afternoon walks, evening care, or multiple check ins throughout the day. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I make it a priority to follow their normal routine and give them the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while giving you peace of mind when you are away. Whether I am caring for a pet in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so I can provide care that feels familiar and consistent. In my home, I provide a clean, pet friendly environment where animals receive plenty of attention, supervision, and affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and work to maintain the routines and environment their pet is accustomed to. No matter where I am caring for your pet, I treat them like family and strive to make the experience as stress free and enjoyable as possible.
“Shelby is the best- my male cat was facing a health issue and she provided so much love and support, administered meds and gave us great communication and photos while we were out of town. Shelby has a very sweet personality. You can tell she genuinely cares and loves animals. Went out of her way. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was old enough to learn how! I grew up with a German Shepherd so am used to large dogs that need lots of exercise, and when she passed away my family got two Maltese-Poodle mixes that I helped train and take care of, so I am also used to small dogs that want more pets than anything. I was also my neighborhood’s go to dog walker for neighbors and family friends while out of town. I have now owned a cat for two years and totally appreciate that you have to earn a cat’s love compared to a dog loving anyone who will give them pupperoni! My cat is very friendly and playful, but I also have experience sitting older and more reclusive cats. I work full time during the day but am available during the evenings and on weekends, and occasionally during lunch breaks if working from home. My two family dogs are walked with harnesses and leashes, so I am familiar with those. I clean my cat’s litter box daily along with providing general care and ample play! I do have experience with giving my cat ear drops as well so am comfortable with that if needed.
About: I have had my own family dog, Mabel, since 2018. I have been pet sitting for my friends and neighbors for years. I’m always good for a long walk, playtime in the fenced yard, or just relaxing on the couch. I’m a college student home for the summer. I am available every day and night except Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-5. I am flexible to work around your schedule and what works for your pet. My friendly dog, Mabel, who is a Mini Goldendoodle will love to play with your dog in my fenced in yard. All pets will be cared for with my full attention and plenty of pictures will be sent your way!
“Mike is really awesome! He took great care of our cats, even the one who is afraid of people, and he also fed our fish! We loved all the pictures and video he sent us while we were away. We will definitely look for Mike next time we need someone to check on our kitties”

About: I truly love animals and look forward to meeting & caring for new furry friends! I grew up with a dog and always thought I was only a dog person… then I adopted two sweet sister kittens and the rest is history! I currently work about 35 hours a week and have plenty of time to check in and hang out with your cat or dog. I work shifts, however, so it’s important that we discuss timing of when you’d like me to visit with your animals. Let me know how you’d like for me to spend the time with your cat or dog! I’m happy to tailor my visit to meet the needs of your animals.
About: I have Taken care of my family dog my entire life and overnight pet sit for many families in the past. I have worked with all types of dogs I am available all weekend and all of the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am also available in the evenings of Monday Wednesday and Friday. I would not be able to take your pet into my own home but I know the area well and I can walk dogs where they are needed.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Narberth
I’ve used Stasia multiple times for my dogs, Buck and Fenway, and she’s been amazing every time. She’s super reliable, communicative, and clearly loves what she does. Buck and Fenway are always happy and well cared for when they’re with her. Highly recommend!

Mackenzie was great! She helped with my dog with special needs (deaf, partially blind) over the holidays. She communicated well with updates and pictures every day, and she worked through some bad winter weather! I am very particular with who I trust with my dog, and we would definitely use her again.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.
Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Narberth stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.
Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Narberth choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Narberth with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
