About: I have grown up surrounded by animals including cats, dogs, turtles, mice, guinea pigs, parrots, and fish. Today, I am a proud pet parent to three furry babies of my own: two cats and one anxious ChiPoo rescue. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, so caring for them has always been something that comes naturally to me! I genuinely love spending time with dogs, whether that’s playing, going for walks, giving them lots of attention, or just keeping them company. I am a current physician assistant student so on the weekdays I am free after 4 and I am free all day on then weekends! About: I’ve been pet sitting for 3 years and I also work at a doggy day care. I’m very comfortable and experienced with handling a lot of dogs at once, as well as different sizes, ages, breeds and temperaments. I also have experience caring for sick or injured dogs. On top of dogs, I have experience caring for cats, birds and reptiles. I am currently finishing my psychology degree, and then moving on to my veterinary technician degree. My dream is to work with animals, and I’m eager for more experience to grow my resume! I work Tuesday-Friday, with Thursday and Friday being my longer shifts (8 hours). If your dog is okay being alone for that period of time, or if you only need me for one night, I am completely willing to board those nights! If not, I am completely available the whole day Saturday-Monday. Most of my dog sitting experience has been dog and house sitting in the clients home. I am a very clean and respectful guest, and I feel being at home makes it easier on the dogs when their parents are gone. Being in an unfamiliar place with a person they don’t know can be stressful, overstimulating and anxiety inducing for many dogs. My biggest priority is not only the safety and health but the happiness of the dogs I watch.

During walks, I always use safe routes, keep pets secure on their leash, and pay close attention to their surroundings. During drop-in visits or overnight stays, I make sure pets have fresh water, food, bathroom breaks, exercise, and plenty of attention. When caring for a pet in their home, I treat the home with the same respect and care I would give my own. I keep the environment clean and follow the pet parent’s instructions carefully. About: I love animals, basically all animals! I have grown up with cats and dogs, and feel that I know the ins and outs of the "pet world". I may have favorite breeds, but I love them all, both big and small- I love learning about new breeds, so bring it on! I have worked with pitties doodles, a jackchi, and Goldens so far from Rover! About: I have had pets my whole life, grown up taking care of many dogs and two family cats. Im currently the primary caretaker of our family dog, our now older family cat, and my two own cats. I also have experience with exotic animals, previously having two family guinea pigs and now my own hermit crab. Every morning I wake up to feed my cats and dog right before I eat my own breakfast. My cats litters are in spaces I use daily so they trust the space and i can monitor their health and habits. I know every animal is unique the same way people are, I treat every animal with love, care, and patience. I have a big soft spot for animals that are naturally distrustful and skittish and know how to gently approach them.
