I am a huge animal lover that has experience being around many different types of pets. I'm very detail-oriented and will make sure to follow your directions carefully. I will get to know your pet's personality and try different methods to help them feel comfortable and safe. I may not be the best fit for your pet, and that is totally okay! I want this to be a comfortable experience for all parties involved. I’m a teacher and I work from 7:30am until around 4:30pm during the week. I’m happy to take a limited number of visits before school and then more after school and on the weekends. I am very detail oriented and will follow all of your instruction carefully. There’s a lot of trust having someone else in your home, and I make sure to respect that.

I respect all directions left for me and really work to keep the environment safe and healthy for the pet. I prefer meet and greets to get the lay of the land, but I’m also comfy getting directions via messages.

Amanda was wonderful with my fickle, sassy cat! Attentive to her preferences and boundaries. My cat clearly felt secure because by the end of the week she was following Amanda around and requesting head rubs. I will absolutely hire Amanda again next time I’m out of town. This is our first time using Rover to schedule dog help. Amanda was a great start! She was professional, on time, sent excellent updates that communicated not only that our older dog was ok, but that she really liked her. I highly recommend Amanda.

Amanda has cared for our 13yo senior dog twice now, latest being a period of 10 days. We have been impressed by the thorough and thoughtful visit check-ins, and the daily bonding with Rufio. The biggest testimony of Amanda kindness is Rufio's tail wag when he sees her! Thank you again

Schedule
I am a teacher so I do pet sitting before/after school and on the weekends. I don’t often travel over the holidays, so I am available most of the time!
