Personalized care for your dog or cat - Ardmore

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Ardmore
“Alexandra and family are always wonderful to my baby boy! But this time they go above and beyond! We left for a week. And unfortunately, he ran out of food. Alexandra and family cooked him homemade food, like I did with him! Just exceptional!!!”

“Yuiko and her family are always great! We leave our little Kiwi on every trip. Took amazing care of my anxious and anti-social Chihuahua. I highly recommend Yuiko and will continue to use her services in the future!”

“Christin watched our pup for the second time in a row and we knew neyland was so loved the whole time we were away! She was very responsive and accommodating to schedule adjustments even picking up our dog because she was going to be in the neighborhood! We got lots of pictures throughout out time away to see how our pup was!”

“Rhea & her spouse were great sitters - they were responsive, answered all of our questions, sent lots of photos and videos, and clearly care greatly about dogs.”

“Amy was fantastic - we instantly felt comfortable with her husband and her (and, more importantly, so did the dog!). She was very detail oriented, sent pictures throughout Champ's short stay and made sure Champ got plenty of exercise. I also appreciated her policy not to take multiple dogs at once. We will definitely be repeating with Amy - the whole experience was great!”

“Exactly what we were hoping for our two dogs. Rebecca was great at keeping us updated and sending pictures of them. The dogs looked like they had a blast during their stay and we would definitely have Rebecca watch our dogs again and recommend her to others.”

“I had such a great experience with Juliana and couldn’t recommend her more highly. Leaving my dog while traveling is never easy, but she made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free from the start. She was incredibly attentive, communicative, and clearly cared deeply about my dog’s well-being. I received regular updates, photos, and little notes that made me feel connected even while I was away.”

“Bryce was incredible! This was Thor’s first time away from us and I was just as anxious as he was. Bryce did a wonderful job of putting us both at ease. The photos and updates during the day was greatly appreciated. Thank you Bryce!”

“Waffles had a great time! Michell was communicative and made me feel confident that Waffles was being well loved and cared for! We will definitely be contacting Michell for future stays ?”

“Jennifer & her family took the best care of my dog, Luigi. Jennifer kept me updated daily about how Luigi was doing at her home with photos and any updates from that day. I truly appreciated how communicative she was with me during his stay. Her home is honestly the best set up for dog boarding and she did a fantastic job taking care of my dog. Her yard has a great space for dogs to let their energy out and she has dogs, cats and rabbits (along with other animals) that my dog got to interact with during his stay. Luigi had a blast with Jennifer and her family and I am certain he can’t wait to visit them again. I highly recommend Jennifer’s boarding service and will certainly be seeing her again for another boarding!”

“We are so grateful to have the best dog caretaker around! Franklin loves spending time with them and it makes us feel so much better when we have to leave him ❤️”

“Zenith cared for my dog from February 19–22, and I am so grateful for her. From the start, her communication was thoughtful and consistent. She sent sweet updates, photos, and videos that truly put my heart at ease. It was clear she treated him with genuine love and care, just like I would. I never once worried while I was away. I would happily book with her again and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone special to care for their pup.”

“Diana was amazing with our pups. It was such a last minute need when we found out my mom had Covid and couldn’t watch our 2 dogs for Memorial Day weekend. Diana was right there. She took them in, cared for them, took pictures and asked essential questions. The pups were happy and healthy when picked up and clearly had a great weekend. We are so grateful for her and would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Tim and Ally were great sitters for our girl Sadie! We were updated, sent photos and felt reassured that Sadie was enjoying her time while we were away. Will not hesitate to rebook.”

“Gregory was very responsive to my last minute request for boarding. My dog is little and anxious, and I was not sure how she would do with another dog as large as Koda, Gregory’s dog. But Koda turned out to be very well trained and had a lovely calm demeanor. Maya was very comfortable and I will definitely be using Gregory again!”

“David took such good care of my dog this past weekend, when I brought Knuckles home he cried as if he missed him . David sent daily photos which made me so much more comfortable knowing that my dog was happy. I will definitely be a returning client.”

“Patty is godsend! She will love (and slightly spoil) your dog like it’s her very own. Patty kept us up-to-date multiple times a day with messages and photos. She cared for our dog the way we would, simply an Angel. Thank you Patty and Vin for opening your home and heart to our Sully!”

“Helena was fantastic! She took wonderful care of our two cats while we were away. She was caring and thorough, and her daily updates gave us so much peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with cats and absolutely adore them. I currently do not have one of my own and so caring for others will be the next best thing- and I will treat them as if they were a part of my family. I am a pediatric nurse, so I am caring, responsible, and dependable.

“Angelica has been a great cat sitter, and I highly recommend her. She has always arrived at the agreed time, sends updates and photos during each visit, and goes above and beyond by taking care of little extras like watering plants, feeding fish, and bringing our trash bins back to the house. The best part is seeing how comfortable my cats are with her. From the photos, I can see they look forward to her visits, and when we come home, they're relaxed, happy, and well cared for. As a pet owner, that's the greatest peace of mind I could ask for.”

“Mike is great - you can tell he really enjoys being around pets and our cat was no exception! He made sure she was well taken care of and we came home to a happy happy cat! Thanks again!!”
“This was our first time using a catsitter that we didn't know and we can't overstate how grateful we are that Brittany took such good care of our cats. Although we told Brittany not to worry too much if she didn't see our shyest cat, but every time that Brittany visited, all the cats came out to see her. Her excellent communication, updates and photos put us at ease and she took great care of our home and our kitties. We'd recommend Brittany in a heartbeat.”

“Briana was great keeping in touch with us via photos of our cats. It made us smile each day to see their faces. Briana is a very relatable cat sitter and we would request her again.”

“Ashley did a wonderful job caring for our kitties again. Great communication and responsiveness, and going above and beyond by helping to bring in some packages and do extra cleanup when the kittens were a bit messy. Thank you Ashley!”

“Sara did an amazing job with our two kitties!! She really Gets cats in a way that many of our previous sitters didn't 😭 our shy cat who usually hides from new people came out for every visit and even played and allowed Sara to pet her. We were so happy to see that and also to come home to everything looking tidy and organized, with the kitties in a good mood instead of looking harassed and stressed 🙏🏻 Can't say enough good things about Sara - great vibes AND great work - thank you!!”

“Kathryn was thorough, courteous and very communicative! When my Litter Robot wasn’t working properly, she was so kind to scoop the litter manually. I hope to hire her again in the future. Thanks, Kathryn!”

“Cece took great care of our two cats while we were away for a week. She sent cute photos and made sure to play with them everyday. We came home to happy cats and a clean home (litter taken out & cat dishes done- much appreciated). We recommend Cece! She is reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely loves animals.”

“Mackenzie was great! She helped with my dog with special needs (deaf, partially blind) over the holidays. She communicated well with updates and pictures every day, and she worked through some bad winter weather! I am very particular with who I trust with my dog, and we would definitely use her again.”

“Ali took great care of my cat while I was away for two weeks. She always sent pics and was able to problem solve when my cat knocked over her feeder. I was very nervous leaving my cat for the first time but felt at ease with Ali caring for her.”

“Melissa has been flexible and supportive when caring for my puppy! She's been thoughtful in suggesting ideas to help Toffee be more comfortable alone (she's not used to my schedule of going back to the office a few days a week yet). I appreciate the ease of mind she provides when I can't be home with my cutie.”

About: Hi! We’re Electra and Crescent. We love travel, food and animals! 🐾 We’re lifelong pet parents who have shared our home with cats and dogs for decades. We currently live with three cats of our own (2 belonged to my late mother) Kiki the senior Russian blue, Helena the toothless full figured queen and Charles Mr. Humpty Dumpty. We genuinely love caring for animals and understand the unique needs of picky eaters, seniors, energetic and active animals or pets who prefer calm, low-stress environments. We call Charles our “special needs baby” since he is neutered but loves to hump his cat toy (Matilda) Kiki was my mom’s cat who is a senior and has IBD aside from her IBD (which we are managing) she’s a very quiet, laid back cat that likes her quality time. Helena was my mom’s cat and talk about food focused! Despite having only 2 bottom teeth this thick beauty don’t let that stop her! 🐾 I’m Electra and I’m available most of the day. My husband Crescent works Monday–Friday during the day (usually finished by late afternoon). This gives us excellent flexibility for pet sitting: • Boarding at our home: We can typically do pet pickups early evenings or anytime on weekends. • Drop-offs: You can bring your pet anytime. We can also do pickups for you Monday–Friday after 5 pm or anytime on weekends. Since I’m home I can provide personalized, attentive care for your furry family members. Whether it’s longer walks, extra play sessions, or simply quiet companionship for pets that get lonely, we tailor our care to what each animal needs. We board cats (up to 3) or small-medium dogs (up to 2) at a time. We have a dedicated spare bedroom that works beautifully as a cozy “cat hotel” or “doggie retreat” — complete with a litter box, cat tree, twin bed, toys and TV for background noise. Your pets get complete free-roaming access in this room with no crates. Privacy with one family at a time to ensure a calm, stress-free environment for your pet with access to ring camera for boarding stays. We’ll ensure that your cats have a freshly clean litter box daily, interaction multiple hours a day, great window view for birdwatching and followed feeding routine. Your dogs will have plenty of time outside, I’m available and can provide multiple walks and engagement throughout the day, with comfortable indoor space for relaxation and eating routines. You’ll have peace of mind knowing your furry babies are safe and in a controlled space. We offer Ring camera access so you can check in anytime, plus daily text updates with photos and details about how their day went. When we visit your home, we’re extremely mindful of your pet’s normal routines. We’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and playtime if they crave it, or respectful space if they prefer quiet time — always with their comfort and happiness as our top priority.
About: I've been around dogs my entire life. From growing up with family pets to having my own, I've taken care of dogs of all different breeds and sizes. I work from home, so I'll be able to provide your dog with the care and attention they need. I can also provide basic training skills, if necessary. I currently have one dog named Koda. He's very friendly, affectionate, and well trained. He gets along well with all dogs and loves any human that will give him attention. He would love to host your furry companion! I work fully remote from home so I am available all during the week with a good amount of availability on the weekends as well. I have a fenced in yard where they'll be able to play. I take Koda on three walks a day and to the Wissahickon or other parks in the area most weekends so your dog will get plenty of exercise and stimulation.
“A wonderful place for our dog! Lauren & Mark made Lenny feel at home; they even welcomed him on their sofa! Their dog Cooper and young girls were sweet and gentle. Highly recommend!”

“Donte was great with Blue. He really helped us out with a last-minute weekend daycare booking, and Blue was very excited to go back. We received photos and videos during his visits and we will definitely look to Donte for future daycare visits.”

“Ronon has spent the day with Sam and her adorable pug, Petunia, twice now. Sam has a nice home and yard and a very chill vibe. Ronon was comfortable with her immediately. Ronon has big feelings and separation anxiety, so I'm very picky about who I leave him with. (Also, he has all the hops and can jump a five foot fence. Sam has a very secure yard.) When I pick him up, he is relaxed and happy! I'm very comfortable leaving Ronon with Sam and will definitely be a repeat client.”

About: Hi! I’m a true cat lover with hands-on experience caring for kittens and adult cats. I understand that every cat has a unique personality, and I always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m patient, attentive, and detail-oriented. Whether your cat needs playtime, feeding routines, litter box cleaning, or just quiet companionship, I will care for them as if they were my own. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priority. I’m very careful when taking care of pets, and I’m a calm person, so I pass that energy on to the animals as well.
“Terrific and caring, they care for our yellow lab. This is our first experience, leaving our dog off with someone and we were delighted that this was the perfect place to be. Our dog came back happy, safe, and is looking forward to more visits.”

“Chris is a fantastic dog walker and sitter. He was able to do a couple of daycare days for Whimzy when we needed to have work done at the house last minute, which is immensely helpful. Chris is so good with Whimzy, and she loves spending time with him. We're very grateful for Chris!”

About: Hi, my name is Shandara. I live in Roxborough and I have a Standard poodle named Biscotti. Biscotti and I love to go on long walks and explore the neighborhood. If you live in the area, you’ve probably seen us around! Biscotti is so adorable and we love to try fun haircuts, so he tends to attract a lot of attention. I’ve taken care of pets since I was a child. Growing up, my family had dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, and fish. I’ve had my own dog now for 5 years and I’ve been trusted by many family members and friends to care for their pets. Having a fur baby myself, I understand the struggle and anxiety that come with needing to find the right care. We all hope for someone responsible and loving who will make our pet feel right at home. My hope is to be that person for you. My goal is to provide exceptional care so you can enjoy your time away knowing that your loved one is in good hands. I recently left my 9-5 in Investment Operations to pursue my dreams of working for myself. I’m home all day, every day of the week, so I have plenty of availability to care for your fur baby. Finding the right caretaker is an investment and you can rest assured you’re making the right decision with me! I have a small fenced in yard and one friendly dog who would be happy to keep your fur baby company. I’m happy to work with you to ensure your pet is safe & comfortable whether in your home or mine. Safety is a priority so pets are never left together unsupervised.

Regardless of their needs, I adapt to their unique personality to ensure they're safe, comfortable, and happy. And, of course, I make sure to snap plenty of pictures to keep you informed of their stay! Pet care is my full-time focus! I'm always out and about keeping my own dog active and love welcoming an extra guest. Whiskey is a Canine Good Citizen, or as I like to call it, a Certified Good Boy. I also have two cats and understand the important balance of play with personal space. I live in a very safe area in an apartment with a park nearby. I have crates for boarding if needed but do my best to be home with them 100% of the time. There are plenty of blankets for cuddling and snuggles are welcome! About: I’ve had so many different animals in my life I guess you could say at this point I could care for a small zoo?! From rabbits to rats, to lizards to guinea pigs, to birds to hermit crabs to the tried and true cats and dogs I’ve truly cared for and have loved them all. And while I would now consider myself a dog person (hence the boop the snoot tagline). I do have a genuine love for all animals and now wish to share my experience, expertise, love and care with the animals that sometimes need a little extra while their “hoomans” have other things they need to address. I work freelance gigs in the small business space helping with back end business admin and marketing so I can truly make my own schedule which is ideal for cat and dog sitting gigs, no?! I currently have two rescues, a Siamese cat- Edgar Allan Poe (who goes by Poe) and a who knows what dog, (probably a lab/boxer mix, we’ve yet to order a DNA test), named Lucky. Both of my guys are super chill at this point in their lives and have no issues with other animals. With Lucky we take multiple daily walks and do have a fenced in yard, tho it is small and he begs for and prefers walks so it is rarely used as the primary source of going out. (Read that as I am used to and enjoy walks)

About: I've taken care of dogs for a while, whether it's been a neighbor or a family member. I have always loved caring for dogs and believe that every dog deserves to have individualized attention and affection. I prioritize keep dogs comfortable and safe with proper leash handling, clean water, and familiarity. My goal is for every pet to feel safe and loved while they are with me. I'm currently volunteering at the Providence Animal Shelter 3-4 times a week in the morning. I have a flexible schedule and am always looking for ways to be outside, be active, and help dogs! I have one friendly dog that I can easily crate if necessary. I also have a car for transportation if a hike or a pup cup is on the agenda! I love walking, my dog gets 3 solid walks per day!

About: I’ve loved animals ever since I was little, especially dogs. I never had one growing up, but would watch, walk, and feed others’, such as my neighbor’s and grandparents. Since my cat passed away, I have been looking to get a job working with animals. I promise to give your pet a great time and a new friend! I just graduated college May ‘26 and have a few part-time jobs over the summer. I typically have afternoons free, but it varies week by week! Watching your pet is a great way for me to stay active and help others :) I would prefer to watch your furry friends in their own house, seeing as I have many younger siblings, parents with allergies, and not much space for pets to run around. I am very used to minding for the safety of little children, so I will be sure your pet and your home stays well-protected!
About: I have been working at a dog boarding and daycare center in Virginia throughout college because of the happiness dogs bring me! I’ve had small dogs my entire life so I’ve learned about how to handle dog reactive dogs safely and securely! I’m currently on summer break, so I am able to work around most schedules for the next couple weeks. I try to stay healthy so walking dogs is a plus! I have a large backyard (unfenced so I would not let the dogs off leash) and one very nice toy poodle who just likes everyone.

We got lots of pictures throughout out time away to see how our pup was!”
