“Sarah visited my Dorothy cat every morning and always made sure I knew she was there with pictures and updates. In the past when I was away Dorothy would stress and over groom herself. Not this time. Sarah bonded so well with her and Dorothy was relaxed and happy. I will surely want Sarah to care for her again if I am away for awhile.”

About: I grew up taking care of my neighbors dogs and volunteering at animal shelters. I have cared for my roommates dogs when they are working or out of town. I am a pediatric nurse who is caring, responsible and dependable! I will treat your pet as if it is my own. I am starting a new job in a few months and so have a lot of free time, and will available most days and times. I am very professional and am happy to meet in person ahead of time. I will gladly send pictures throughout the walk/visit to ensure you feel comfortable leaving your pet with me.
“Dion provided outstanding drop-in care for my cat, exceeding all expectations. She was always on time and sent photos with her updates. Dion cares deeply about animals. I wouldn't hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a trustworthy, compassionate sitter.”

About: I've cared for my own dog, dogs of family members, and dogs of neighbors for about a decade. I have particular experience in caring for needy or high-maintenance dogs. Right now I'm wide open since I'm home from college for the summer, so I have plenty of time to walk, feed, house-sit, or whatever you may need for your dog. I'm able to give your dog as much attention as it needs. I'm happy to be hands-on, passive, or anywhere in between depending on the needs of your dog.

About: I’ve loved animals ever since I was little, especially dogs. I never had one growing up, but would watch, walk, and feed others’, such as my neighbor’s and grandparents. Since my cat passed away, I have been looking to get a job working with animals. I promise to give your pet a great time and a new friend! I just graduated college May ‘26 and have a few part-time jobs over the summer. I typically have afternoons free, but it varies week by week! Watching your pet is a great way for me to stay active and help others :) I would prefer to watch your furry friends in their own house, seeing as I have many younger siblings, parents with allergies, and not much space for pets to run around. I am very used to minding for the safety of little children, so I will be sure your pet and your home stays well-protected!
“Mike was absolutely amazing! Had him watch my two cats for almost two weeks. He stayed the whole time , fed , played with them etc. followed our directions and everything went great. Even fed my fish! Thank you Mike !”

“Ashley was so awesome checking in on Woogie over the holidays! Lots of pictures and information from each visit! Would HIGHLY recommend Ashley to anyone that needs their pet looked after while they are away!”

“Melissa has been flexible and supportive when caring for my puppy! She's been thoughtful in suggesting ideas to help Toffee be more comfortable alone (she's not used to my schedule of going back to the office a few days a week yet). I appreciate the ease of mind she provides when I can't be home with my cutie.”

“Extremely reliable and communicative! My dog has anxiety when we leave. Jeff went above and beyond to make her as comfortable as possible including staying at our house overnight and additional check-ins during the day. I would recommend Jeff to everyone looking for a safe, reliable person for their pets.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for 3 years and I also work at a doggy day care. I’m very comfortable and experienced with handling a lot of dogs at once, as well as different sizes, ages, breeds and temperaments. I also have experience caring for sick or injured dogs. On top of dogs, I have experience caring for cats, birds and reptiles. I am currently finishing my psychology degree, and then moving on to my veterinary technician degree. My dream is to work with animals, and I’m eager for more experience to grow my resume! I work Tuesday-Friday, with Thursday and Friday being my longer shifts (8 hours). If your dog is okay being alone for that period of time, or if you only need me for one night, I am completely willing to board those nights! If not, I am completely available the whole day Saturday-Monday. Most of my dog sitting experience has been dog and house sitting in the clients home. I am a very clean and respectful guest, and I feel being at home makes it easier on the dogs when their parents are gone. Being in an unfamiliar place with a person they don’t know can be stressful, overstimulating and anxiety inducing for many dogs. My biggest priority is not only the safety and health but the happiness of the dogs I watch.

“I had a last minute cat sitting need and Angelica was able to fill it, I didn’t get to meet her in advance but was able to trust her with taking great care of my place & my cats! She sent thoughtful and thorough updates. Would book again!”

“We had a great experience with Alexis while she did drop-in visits for our dog Miso. She was incredibly thoughtful and flexible. She agreed to meet Miso twice before our trip so he’d feel more comfortable, and even added an extra visit when our travel plans changed unexpectedly. She was also attentive and reliable, and handled Miso’s behavioral quirks with ease. He can be high-strung and pushy and it gave us peace of mind to know he was so well looked after while we were away. We highly recommend Alexis and would be happy to utilize her again for future care!”

“Thank you Brianna they look very calm and relaxed!! I love the picture with them side by side so cute!! You are there new friend. Thanks so much Maureen”

“Brittany was wonderful! She cared for my coco and did a great job. She even went above and beyond and was also very flexible. Will definitely re-book with her again. Highly recommended.”

About: Hi! I’m a local dog lover in the Bryn Mawr/Main Line area offering dog walking and in-home pet sitting. I am currently focusing on dog walking as I transition and build my business I’m transitioning into retirement, which gives me a flexible schedule and lets me focus on what I enjoy most—spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for while you’re away or busy. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to get to know each one so they feel comfortable with me right away. Light check-ins, feeding, and morning potty breaks or walks for house sitting clients. ⸻ 🌤 Midday My main dog walking window in the Bryn Mawr/Main Line area. Walks are calm, unhurried, and tailored to each dog’s energy level. ⸻ 🌇 Afternoon Drop-in visits or additional walks if needed, plus companionship time for house sitting stays. ⸻ 🌙 Evening Feeding, evening walks, and making sure pets are settled and comfortable for the night. ⸻ Because I’m transitioning into retirement, I’m able to keep my schedule flexible and focus on providing consistent, attentive care without rushing. I take dogs on long walks. I do have a crate in my home, but typically if I am leaving I set up a bed and den like atmosphere in my second floor laundry room which I gate do the dog stays safe. I run an Airbnb in my third floor so while I can watch dogs in my home, in house at the dog’s home is preferable. I am extremely safety conscious and when I have dogs over I try to keep them in my sight at all times. If they love cuddling, they will get tons of cuddles from me

Briana watched our two cats while away on a special trip for nearly 15 nights. Briana not only checked in on them twice every day consistently, but played with them, took pics, brought in the mail and any packages, and helped with any little messes that happened from our cats and communicated anything necessary. She went above and beyond without us asking and we are grateful for that! Thank you Brianna!

Angelica did a great job visiting our two cats. She sent lots of pics, and I can see they got lots of love and attention. She also did a great job keeping things clean and brought in our mail without being asked. I really appreciate that! I definitely recommend her.

Incredible experience getting ZhiGe’s help. You could tell she genuinely loves pet and go out of her way to make sure everything is taken care of. I was a little uncertain initially booking someone new but definitely made my best decision for my doggos. Highly recommend!

Quinn has sat for us twice now, and we will continue to work with her! She continues to be a responsible sitter who communicates well and provides care according to instructions. She is caring of animals and takes pride in her work. We have 2 adult cats. Both are healthy but our older cat is high anxiety and tends to vomit while we are away. Her job for us includes feeding, water refresh, cleaning up after our cats, and litter box. Both times we have used Quinn, we have come home to a clean house and happy cats. We highly recommend her services.

Book Mikayla whenever you can! She is a true delight with a magic touch: we found our super-anxious kittie as calm as we ever remember after returning from a four-day trip. She provided just the right amount of updates, pics, and vids, and even joyfully added our turtle to her daily care! We as SO happy to have added a new member to our extended pet family.

Kristina went above and beyond taking care of Loki. I can tell she truly took the time to understand what he needed (he has some vision issue and she showed extra sensitivity). I also received updates and pics while I was away so I could rest assured all was well at home :) I am so grateful and glad to have found a pet sitter who I will be returning to! Many m

Clara took great care of my cats while I was away! She is very kind and reliable and I could tell they had been well looked after and all care instructions followed. She is very communicative and proactive during her check ins. I was always happy to get pictures of the cats looking happy and relaxed. They were in great hands under Clara's care!

Milan was an excellent caregiver for our cat while we were away. She came over for a “meet and greet” before the scheduled visits. She communicated with us a lot, sent us pictures, and was really sweet with our cat. We would definitely use her again and highly recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
