“Tim was so great! We did a meet and greet almost right away and he got along with my pup, Brandy, so well. He showed up on time and walked for the entire 30 minutes. We will definitely be using Tim again!”

“Ben was a pleasure to work with! He is trustworthy, and considerate. He took great care of my puppy! Always making sure he had a fun walk! He took lots of pictures which I appreciated getting! He was very accommodating to my schedule which can always change at the last minute. I highly recommend ben to care for your fur babies!!”

“Kathy is energetic, sweet & my dog loved her! She made sure Molly was walked the full 1/2 hour, was safe and did everything she needed to do (pee & poop). I highly recommend Kathy & will be using her again.”

“Kevin showed up on time and gave me great peace of mind because my dog seemed really happy when I came home and I felt like they were in great hands. He communicates well and followed up with me with any questions I had.”

“Helena went above and beyond! I reached out last minute because I was stuck at work and she was able to walk my dog. She took the time to make sure my dog was comfortable and familiar with her before they went for a walk. She also refilled his water bowl! My dog is very timid and shy with new people but he warmed to Helena with just a few treats.”

“Ashley is the BEST! She has been so kind and patient with my nervous and timid rescue dog, going above and beyond to ensure that my dog is comfortable with her and trusts her.”

“Our dog loves Allison! She immediately took to her upon meeting and it is clear that Allison is a great dog walker and a true dog lover. She is very reliable and able to accommodate our busy work schedules.”

“Craig is the best walker we could have found- prompt, reliable and a nice guy. Rover is very good and sends all related info all the time. Higgins Stands at the door waiting for his special walk!!”

“Chen has been a blessing! I was looking for a reliable dog walker for a while. Chen is great with my two large labradoodles who have a tendency to pull from time to time. She is always punctual and communicative when the schedule needs to change. I appreciate that she always sends pictures and updates of how the pups are doing and keeps me posted of their shenanigans like when they got into their wet food the other day. She even cleaned it up and put the food away for me. If you are looking for someone to take care of your pups I highly recommend Chen! She is great!”

About: I’ve always loved animals, and loved a medium sized dog in my home growing up for about 9-10 years. Since having him I’ve pet sat for friends, family, family friends as requested. I’ve watched dogs overnight and for up to 9 or so consecutive months, and I’ve watched two cats for 3 months. I’ve helped my mom care for her pitbull puppy and her pointer. Any pet I watch I will love as if they were my own; and if I’m coming for an extended stay, I make sure the house is nice, clean, and smelling good so the owner can relax as much as possible coming home. Happy to do walks, feedings, extended stays, I’m not the most experienced in grooming but am willing to get the practice in if the trust is there. Let me know what you need and I’ll do what I can to support you and your fur baby🥰. I work a lot as an actor/performer, and am in between gigs. So my schedule is primarily dedicated to pet care outside of daily responsibilities When in my clients homes I stick to their rules with their pets. So if dogs on the bed/couch are a no, I’ll respect that. My goal is to make my clients animal as comfortable as possible. I even like seeing them sometime before the scheduled visit to see how our chemistry is, though I haven’t had had any bad visits. In my home I’ll care for them in the same fashion. Make sure they’re feed, take them for walks (if they’re walkers), cuddle and make sure they feel loved.

Kristina did a wonderful job caring for Milo. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly very caring with animals. I felt comfortable knowing Milo was in good hands, and I could tell my dog enjoyed the walks and time with her. She was professional, communicative, and went above and beyond. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
