About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since I was a child. My family taught me to love, respect, and care for them because they are part of the family. I believe that, just like people, dogs need fresh air, exercise, and time outdoors to stay happy and healthy. I currently live in the United States as a nanny, and one of my favorite parts of my day is taking the family’s dog for walks. I love seeing her enjoy the outdoors, explore new places, and get the exercise she needs. For the past three years, starting when I lived in Colombia, my friends have trusted me to care for their pets whenever they traveled or needed someone reliable. I have experience walking dogs, feeding them, playing with them, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Callie was clear and communicative about her schedule from the beginning, clearly outlining her availability with more than a month's advance notice. About: I’ve always loved animals, and loved a medium sized dog in my home growing up for about 9-10 years. Since having him I’ve pet sat for friends, family, family friends as requested. I’ve watched dogs overnight and for up to 9 or so consecutive months, and I’ve watched two cats for 3 months. I’ve helped my mom care for her pitbull puppy and her pointer. Any pet I watch I will love as if they were my own; and if I’m coming for an extended stay, I make sure the house is nice, clean, and smelling good so the owner can relax as much as possible coming home. She’s great at walking the dog, is very communicative during and after the walk, and is great at figuring things out herself if I’m not available. She’s pretty good at reading my dog’s energy to understand what she wants and needs. She’s very patient. I’m only hiring Faith for walks from here on out!

Helena went above and beyond! I reached out last minute because I was stuck at work and she was able to walk my dog. She took the time to make sure my dog was comfortable and familiar with her before they went for a walk. She also refilled his water bowl! My dog is very timid and shy with new people but he warmed to Helena with just a few treats.

Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
