About: I’ve been pet sitting for 3 years and I also work at a doggy day care. I’m very comfortable and experienced with handling a lot of dogs at once, as well as different sizes, ages, breeds and temperaments. I also have experience caring for sick or injured dogs. On top of dogs, I have experience caring for cats, birds and reptiles. I am currently finishing my psychology degree, and then moving on to my veterinary technician degree. My dream is to work with animals, and I’m eager for more experience to grow my resume! I work Tuesday-Friday, with Thursday and Friday being my longer shifts (8 hours). If your dog is okay being alone for that period of time, or if you only need me for one night, I am completely willing to board those nights! If not, I am completely available the whole day Saturday-Monday. Most of my dog sitting experience has been dog and house sitting in the clients home. I am a very clean and respectful guest, and I feel being at home makes it easier on the dogs when their parents are gone. Being in an unfamiliar place with a person they don’t know can be stressful, overstimulating and anxiety inducing for many dogs. My biggest priority is not only the safety and health but the happiness of the dogs I watch.

I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. I’ll treat your pet with warmth, patience, and care, and I’ll treat your home and instructions with respect. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. That means I’m able to spend unrushed, attentive time with pets, not just quick check-ins, but actual companionship, care, and presence. I can shape my day around walks, visits, feeding times, play, and quiet company, depending on what each pet needs. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, who is included in the pictures, also helps me out with my Rover schedules. My home is my cat Lilo’s safe little kingdom, so I can’t host other pets here. Mara watched my 2 dogs over the weekend and she was amazing! She was on time, very communicative, and sent lot of cute pictures. Both dogs loved her and had a great weekend hanging out with her. She even helped one of them get over his fear of having his harness put over his head. We will definitely be using her services again!
Michael was awesome. I was able to book him in a pinch after another sitter had to cancel. He is calm, experienced, and Porter was well cared for while we were gone. He communicated with me daily 2-3x day, asked questions if they came up and dealt with a power outage that lasted about 20 hours. It rained a large part of the time we were gone and he diligently walked Porter in the rain. When we got home everything was in order. Dog towels were washed and the house was as we left it. We have used him in the past and will continue to use his services in the future for our dog. We were out of the country and knowing we had a responsible and capable dog sitter was essential.
Anam house-sitted Tinju for 2 nights in our home and was great! She kept us up todate through out the days with plenty of updates, photos, and videos. She took excellent care of Tinju, asked alot of questions, and followed directions. At our meet and greet before the stay Anam was very professional! We highly recommend her and would definitely hire Anam again!
Attentive to my cats, responsive to communication with me, and overall a responsible and kind person I felt very comfortable leaving my cats with for several days. Danielle took great care of them and connected with them quickly and easily upon her first visit. My cats were well cared for, as was my home. It was almost hard to tell someone else had been there. I would recommend Danielle if you are looking for a warm and friendly person to care for your pets and send you daily updates with photos. She did a great job and would definitely hire again.
Having Mikayla stay with our babes while we’re out of town has made our travels exponentially easier. Both radish and Ernie have fallen in love them, I think they may prefer them over us after their second stay. Will absolutely continue to book Mikayla for future stays!
