“Donte boarded my senior German Shepherd for 5 days including Christmas Day. She was well cared for, receiving her medications twice a day to manage her hip arthritis and pain from IVDD. She came home rested and without any signs of over exertion, which can be difficult to manage while other dogs are boarded. My only concern was that I had become used to Rover hires providing a daily update; I had not explicitly asked for this and Donte sent one unprompted update (on Christmas), but he was very quick to respond when I reached out to check in on her. He also offered an important observation at pick up about the length of my dogs back toenails, indicating careful attention to the dog’s wellbeing.”

“We recently traveled for a family vacation and for the first time had to leave our boys Jasper and Pablo (cats) behind. It was a nerve racking feeling! I did some research and came across Kitty’s profile. I knew immediately that she would be a perfect fit for our boys. The communication was on point at all times. She updated us with photos of them and gave us little details of their behavior and activities. We only had to provide the food, she provided everything else. They returned home happy and so well behaved, we think she trained them because they were already good boys but came back even better. She also sent them home with a toy that Jasper loves and the cutest “catlander”. Kitty was flexible with time and availability. My only complaint is that I know that they love her more than they love us lol I’m ok with that. Kitty has loyal clients with us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for 3 years and I also work at a doggy day care. I’m very comfortable and experienced with handling a lot of dogs at once, as well as different sizes, ages, breeds and temperaments. I also have experience caring for sick or injured dogs. On top of dogs, I have experience caring for cats, birds and reptiles. I am currently finishing my psychology degree, and then moving on to my veterinary technician degree. If your dog is okay being alone for that period of time, or if you only need me for one night, I am completely willing to board those nights! I am a very clean and respectful guest, and I feel being at home makes it easier on the dogs when their parents are gone. Being in an unfamiliar place with a person they don’t know can be stressful, overstimulating and anxiety inducing for many dogs. About: I have walked and pet sat for 5+ years, and for the past two years, I have fostered rescue dogs as well. I love to hang out with your dog, whether that includes walks, playing, or just hanging out on the couch. I just finished a masters degree and am currently searching for a full time job, so I have a very flexible schedule, with availability on both weekdays and weekends. I am very careful to ensure dogs are safe when I take them for walks or pet sit. I always look for potential dangers (got lots of experience avoiding chicken bones on the street in NYC!) and keeping your dog safe is my top priority.

“Donte boarded my senior German Shepherd for 5 days including Christmas Day. She was well cared for, receiving her medications twice a day to manage her hip arthritis and pain from IVDD. She came home rested and without any signs of over exertion, which can be difficult to manage while other dogs are boarded. My only concern was that I had become used to Rover hires providing a daily update; I had not explicitly asked for this and Donte sent one unprompted update (on Christmas), but he was very quick to respond when I reached out to check in on her. He also offered an important observation at pick up about the length of my dogs back toenails, indicating careful attention to the dog’s wellbeing.”
“Emelie took great care of our dog Stanley for his first night away from us. She let us do a meet and greet and was able to answer our questions ahead of the stay. There were a couple of other dogs there which was great for Stanley, who is a very social pup. Her house is set up well for the dogs with a big yard and different rooms inside. We plan to bring Stanley back!”

He made me feel more than comfortable in his ability to care for my dogs and even asked me a few questions to double check he knew all he needed to know. He was easy to get in touch with, sent me pictures and kept me updated! He was also extremely accommodating with pick up/drop off timing. My dogs came home happy. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have had my own since college. I’ve owned a beagle, a couple of pit mix rescues, a boxer and currently a terrier mix rescue who is about 1.5 years old. I work in education, so I’m off for summers, so offer plenty of time, attention and play time with our super-friendly 1.5 y/o terrier pooch I have a fenced yard with plenty of play space and a sociable, playful dog. I can crate-train if desired. Available for walks 2X daily
