I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. I’ll treat your pet with warmth, patience, and care, and I’ll treat your home and instructions with respect. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. That means I’m able to spend unrushed, attentive time with pets, not just quick check-ins, but actual companionship, care, and presence. I can shape my day around walks, visits, feeding times, play, and quiet company, depending on what each pet needs. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, who is included in the pictures, also helps me out with my Rover schedules. My home is my cat Lilo’s safe little kingdom, so I can’t host other pets here. But I’m very happy to come to your home, meet outside for walks, or figure out a setup that feels easy and comfortable for you and your pet.

Even the staff in the front office of my building remarked how happy Marcus looked whenever they saw her coming in and out of the building with him on walks. Abigail was amazing with our two big dogs, especially Buddy who is extremely anxious! She was kind, professional, and showed up exactly on time. Abigail treated my house with as much care as my dogs! Attentive to my cats, responsive to communication with me, and overall a responsible and kind person I felt very comfortable leaving my cats with for several days. Danielle took great care of them and connected with them quickly and easily upon her first visit. My cats were well cared for, as was my home. It was almost hard to tell someone else had been there. I would recommend Danielle if you are looking for a warm and friendly person to care for your pets and send you daily updates with photos. She did a great job and would definitely hire again.
Having Mikayla stay with our babes while we’re out of town has made our travels exponentially easier. Both radish and Ernie have fallen in love them, I think they may prefer them over us after their second stay. Will absolutely continue to book Mikayla for future stays!
