About: Hi there! I'm a New England native and have been proud to call Burlington, VT home for the past 2.5 years. I absolutely love this community and all the outdoor activities it offers—I'm an active person and enjoy getting outside in any season, especially with a furry companion by my side. I've been around animals my whole life and have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes—from tiny breeds to gentle giants. Growing up with dogs instilled in me a deep love and respect for animals, and that passion only grew during the seven years I spent working with and riding horses. I’ve also volunteered at the Humane Society of Chittenden County in South Burlington, which has given me even more hands-on experience and training with a wide variety of pets and personalities. There I learned about the importance of petting consent, dog walking safety, and canine behaviour and body language. Currently, I have a few regular dog-walking and sitting clients through FPF, and I often help out with family and friends’ pets when needed. I'm available for drop-ins and dog walks in Burlington and surrounding towns upon request. Whether you're looking for a quick visit, a neighborhood stroll, or a reliable sitter while you're away, I’d love to help care for your pet like they’re part of my own family. My schedule: I am usually available Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9:00am-2:30pm and can be available in the evenings upon request. I am also flexible on weekends. My schedule: *Mondays 9:30am - 2:30pm, 5:30pm - 10pm *Wednesdays 9:30am - 1:00pm, 5:30pm - 10pm *Fridays - 9:30am - 2:30pm, 5:30pm - 10pm *Saturdays + Sundays - I have very flexible timing most weekends. Please message me your requests and I will do my best to make the timing work! I am very comfortable caring for your pet in your home and I have experience with dogs who need additional attention/medication/dietary needs. I am calm and patient and will ensure your pet feels safe and happy!

“Sofia was wonderful with our 2 dogs while we were away in Africa for two weeks. She sent photos regularly and we came back to 2 happy dogs. She even had to deal with our fridge breaking suddenly while we were away and she handled it with grace. Highly recommend her!”

“This was our first time using Rover and working with Mallory— we had a really positive experience, Mallory was enthusiastic to engage with our energetic pup, match her energy, and give her so much love and attention while we were away. Mallory also sent us updates so we could know how our dog was doing, and was very communicative. We will definitely have Mallory pet sit again when we travel!”

“Paul was great! He made a commitment to dog sit several weeks before and was willing to come by to meet Charley before. Very communicative during the stay and left our place just like he found it. Excellent sitter! Would recommend.”

About: My family has always had pets, which I was responsible for. I’ve taken care of reptiles, dogs, cats, and horses. You can rely on me for feeding, walking, bathing and much more! I am in college so I have a lot of time to take care of your fur babies! I am available on weekdays and weekends. My dog is a couch potato so I am perfect comfortable sitting around if your dog likes naps. I also like going outside so if your dog is up for a game of fetch I am always down.

“Kyle was very reliable, gave consistent check ins without us having to ask, and our pup and our house were in great shape upon our return. We would highly recommended him. He made us feel comfortable and not worry about Rio one bit the whole time we were gone. Thanks Kyle!”

About: Everyone around me knows how much I love pets. I have helped dog sitting my boss’s dog, and as a first timer, I know I did great! I’m working a full time job, I’m ready for anything after working hours and weekends. For occasional home visits, I can make some exceptions depending on my schedule. I myself have a cat, and I haven’t been able to assess how she would react with other pets so I’m holding off on bringing other pets at my place for now. Otherwise, for the clients, I make sure I observe all safety measures and that I’m giving them all the love.

About: Hello! My name is Wren and I'm a college student with a summer internship in DC. I have been fostering dogs and puppies since I was 5 years old. I also have multiple years of pet-sitting experience (both dogs and cats), and I had two dogs and a cat growing up that I was partially responsible for until I graduated from high school. I am an active individual and I love to go on walks and runs. Currently I am available during the day on Fridays and at night the rest of the week. I will have more availability in May because I will not have started my next internship so I will be free every day. In June I am available before and after my 9-5 job and a longer-term pet-sitting option would be my preference. I do not currently have a place to offer for boarding, but I can assure you that I will comply with all house and Rover rules, as well as respect your pet/space and keep it clean.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11. I have experience with training (to an extent), walking, feeding, bathing and playing with them :) I’m currently a student and working part time. But I’m always missing my dog back home, I will have plenty of time set aside to play with your pups. I care for pets in my home/clients home by ensuring they are happy and healthy. I do this through play time, baths, feeding, and exercise.

She manages to take care of them both, walking them at the same time, cleaning up their messes, and giving them all the love and attention they need! She is truly amazing!”

Wren T.
“Wren is an exceptional pet and house sitter. She is conscientious, professional and very responsible. She communicates any concerns clearly, asks questions, and follows all of our requests to the letter. She kept our place clean and respected our space. Most importantly, she is confident and competent with our pets. The proof is in the wags she gets when she comes to our home. Even our shy cat shows her affection when she arrives. Wren has been flexible in the past when our plans changed last minute, which was very helpful when we were in a pinch. I would hire her again in a second - you should too.”
