“Christine was amazing! She was so kind, communicative, and responsible. My cat is usually shy, but he really got along with her. During my four-day trip, she kept us updated and sent lots of photos of him. I highly recommend her and will definitely choose her again in the future!”

“This was the second time I asked Sage to look after my cat for a week while I was out of town. She followed every instruction that I left for her, and kept me up to date with everything going on. She was incredibly responsive and kind throughout the booking, and even reached out to offer additional help with our houseplants since we were going to be gone so long. I can tell my cat was happy to have the care and company that Sage provided. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”

“Theo was an amazing overnight cat sitter for our 6 month old kitten. We travelled for a long weekend, and he was very communicative and sent lots of updates. He even took out our trash while we were gone!”

“Kate is amazing! We had great communication from the start. This is the first time we leave Maple for a whole week with a sitter, so at first we were nervous. Maple is a 17 pound cat with a strong personality, but lovable with people she elect. Few days before the boarding, Kate came to see Maple and the two click from the start. Maple doesn’t allow strangers to approach, and yet, allowed Kate to even brush her on day one. Kate helped to stablished an area for Maple’s tent, food, and litter in where Maple felt comfortable, and we could tell she was doing fine from the start. Daily throughout the week Kate sent us pictures and updates which we loved. We can thank her enough for the amazing job she did, and all the love she gave to Maple.”

“Ashley was absolutely amazing! I have 3 kitties who are very high maintenance (age, behavior, etc.) and she handled them totally amazingly. They were in great hands and I felt very reassured, if you’re looking for a pet sitter, this is your person!”

“This was our second booking with Taylor and it won’t be our last! Taylor is so responsive, reliable, and our furry babies love her. We had peace of mind knowing Taylor was caring for them while we were out of town 🐾❤️ Can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I have lived with cats all my life, and have had my own (Onyx!) for a couple years. I am passionate about cats and cat care. I am a part time student, so this summer, my schedule is wide open. I am available every day of the week, afternoons and evenings. I am able to meet all of a cat's basic needs- feeding, water, litter box cleaning, play, cuddles. I also have experience with my own diabetic kitty, so can accommodate yours!

“Bailey did a wonderful job with our cat Sally while my partner and I were away for a week. She was consistent with updates and sent great pictures and videos. I could tell from the videos that Sally was so excited and happy to see Bailey! The apartment and cat supplies were clean and neat when we got back.”

“He was great with our cat and dog through multiple challenges! We had a water leak while we were away and he gave us updates. Our dog was extremely stressed with us being gone and David went over the top to bond with him and help him. He was communicative and trustworthy. We definitely recommend him!”

About: I grew up with two dogs and currently am the owner of a cat. I have always loved animals of all kinds and have had two years of experience doing drop in visits for cats. Part time student, I am open for drop in visits or dog walking on most days when I do not have to go to classes. I like to work within whatever specifications owners have for their pets and take extra precaution to make sure that they feel and are safe.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was about 11 years old. I started by taking care of neighbors dogs and cats and soon got my own dog, Mario (seen in my profile picture). I trained Mario through a puppy class. Mario is now 14 and I have experience with his senior dog care needs like medical attention and needs around deaf/blindness. Since I started caring for animals I have also cared for birds, cats, and chickens. I now have a 9 year old rescue American Bull named Makai. I love playing, cuddling, and giving love to every animal I care for. I work as a teacher. I am done working around 3:30 and can be available for walks/play promptly after work. I work in the New North End of Burlington and live in the East End of Burlington. I am very active and can happily take animals on long/high energy walks/runs if needed. I am also happy to spend requested amounts of time to socialize with your pet. I can crate animals if needed. If your dog is being walked I will ensure the leash is properly fastened. If your request is that your dog does not socialize on walks with other animals, I will ensure they do not. I am respectful of your wishes in your care for your animals and am happy to help!

About: My first job was working at a doggy daycare because my mom never let us have pets growing up. She eventually changed her mind and we've owned dogs for the past 5 years, but that initial love for animals has never left me. I've had everything from easy mutts and goldendoodles, to stubborn schnauzers. My motto for size preference has always been "the bigger, the better" because it's more to love, but working at the day care has given me the experience of handling a variety of sizes / breeds / temperaments. I'm currently a student at the University of Vermont, so I'm looking for something to fill in my time after class and on the weekends! Having owned dogs myself, safety is extremely important to me. Your pet will never be unsupervised while under my care. I will care for your animal as if it is my own.

Emily K.

“So grateful to Emily for taking such great care of our guinea pigs and cat!”

Meghan F.
“Meghan is my go to when I need someone to care for my cat, Uno. Meghan goes above and beyond the basics of feeding and litter box. She also takes the time to bond with my little guy to make him feel less alone. I can always tell Meghan came around when I come home because Uno is notably less anxious. I highly recommend!”
