“Diane provided such good care of our elderly dog. Our dog needed special attention and Diane provided that beautifully. She sent us pictures and updates while we were gone. We were very nervous, but within a day, we felt completely comfortable with her care. I thank Diane so much for watching and caring for Sasha for us.”

“Monica was very responsive and we were very satisfied with the care she provided. The house was nice and clean when we returned and Luna seemed as though we had never left. Would highly recommend.”

“Ryley did an amazing job caring for our boys! She kept us updated throughout our trip, which gave us great peace of mind. Our boys were happy, well cared for, and clearly received lots of attention. We highly recommend Ryley and will definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

“Felicity was phenomenal! Gave great updates and photos, loved Nala like she was her own, and even did housekeeping which was not necessary. She is so flexible and reliable. I would recommend her to anyone!”
“Ashley was amazing with my boys I have one very energetic dog and one couch potato and she was sure walk them, love on them, and match both of their energy levels. She was great about sending me updates with photos and when I returned home I had two very happy very healthy boys waiting for me. I also returned to a clean and well taken care of home! “Zoe and Kaleb are amazing!!!! We go on a trip every year for 10 days and we are always so nervous leaving our dog, but after they arrived at our house there was no stress about the trip. They sent many pictures and updates to keep us informed. When we got back the house was spotless and looked like they were never there! They were great at keeping up his normal routine and making sure he was well behaved. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for help while they are gone! We will for sure be using them again!”

“I moved to Arizona from California this past June...we had a big trip coming up so I looked around on Rover, read a bunch of profiles and decided to meet Susan. As it turns out...Susan was AMAZING...! She took wonderful care of our Bailey who is almost 16....Susan house sat and cared for Bailey for about 3 weeks. I would HIGLY recommend Susan if you are planning on having someone come take care of your fur babies!! We are looking forward to working with Susan in the future. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions.”

“We LOVE Shea! She was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is as pet friendly as one can get, and she is as thoughtful, communicative, & efficient as she was kind. We had some setbacks due to weather and flight delays, and she was able to accommodate us and was not only flexible, but understanding. Which was such a relief. We have a bit of a skiddish furbaby, and Shea immediately got on her level to introduce herself and gave her the time she needed to warm up to her and was not at all put off by her slow to warm tendencies. Our house was cared for, clean and more importantly the pups were loved in our absence. I would highly recommend Shea for anyone who is in need of pet sitting and pet care needs. She was professional and she put us at ease even with the stress of inclement weather and flight delays. Thank you, Shea! We appreciate you. Ruthie & Phoebe miss you already.”

“I had such a great experience with Therese! She was incredibly communicative the entire time and kept me updated with the cutest pictures of my fur baby, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear she genuinely cared and took great care of my pup. Highly recommend and would definitely book with her again!”

“Suzy was very attentive to our precious Coco. She is very communicative and followed directions very carefully. Coco was very comfortable with Suzy and she made us feel comfortable by sending pics of Coco to us. We will definitely be using Suzy again.”

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 9 years old when I got my first puppy Roxanne. Growing up we also had farm animals and I took care of them as well until I moved out and every once in awhile when my family is out of town. I also house sit for a family over the years every other week for 2 years who had 2 dogs and 1 cat since they worked a job out of town. I house and pet sit for all of my friends on a normal occasion. When I do something I do it to the best of my ability and build a relationship with all of their pets and make them my own friend! My schedule is super flexible so I am able to work with your needs. I do all of my work from home. I am able to provide any transportation for your pet or pets. I am also able to stay at your house or stop by several time throughout the day. I have 2 cats and a dog I know how important it is to take care of them and be present for them.Luckily I have a girlfriend who is able to stay at home and give them attention as well. I care for my own pets by having play time and I feed all my animals 2 times a day and they have water all day. With Clients pets if ok I like letting them outside throughout the day to go play since I am able to take plenty of breaks throughout the day. Anything that the client says or needs done at certain times for their pet if there is certain feeding times or if they are on a schedule I will just follow that for them.

“We had a great experience with our sitter! She kept us updated throughout our trip with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear our pet was well cared for and getting plenty of attention. Her communication made the entire experience completely stress-free, and we were able to enjoy our trip without worrying. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Alexiah took great care of our dogs in our home! She was respectful of our space, responsible, and communicated well. She handled an unexpected situation calmly and contacted us right away. We'd definitely trust her to watch our dogs again!”

“Emily was fantastic! She was great with my very energetic pup, was extremely respectful of my home, and was wonderful communicative about how my pup was doing and sending photos of him getting snuggled and going for walks. Because of these qualities I was able to enjoy my time away from home with confidence that my boy was being thoughtfully cared for. Thanks, Emily!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Western Acres Mobile Park
Therese took great care of my 2 medium sized dogs staying overnight & handling the challenges that came up. I felt comfortable & trusted her staying in my house. She also stepped in when my boyfriend & I had an emergency while away & had to stay away additional days & nights. She always communicated with me when needed or I had a question.
Desiree does a great job taking care of my home and pets while I’m away I come home and it’s exactly as I left it and my pets are happy healthy, and smiling. I don’t think I could ask for much more than that. many of my trip I’m technology free and don’t get the updates until later, but she sends me photos and keeps me posted throughout the time away. I trust Desiree and wish I could tip her more. Honestly, she does a great job.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Western Acres Mobile Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Western Acres Mobile Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Western Acres Mobile Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
