We’re Courtnae and Calvin, a dedicated duo committed to providing dependable, knowledgeable, and individualized care for your fur family and your home. We understand that leaving your pets with someone is a significant responsibility, and our goal is to give you the confidence and peace of mind that they are in capable hands while you’re away. Our experience with animals started long before we began offering professional services. Calvin has been walking and caring for pets in his neighborhood since he was a child. What began as helping families in his community grew into a long standing commitment to reliable and trust worthy care. Today, he continues to care for many of those same families as an adult, a reflection of the trust and relationships he has built with both the pets and their owners over the years. I was raised around dogs and animals from an early age by a Rottweiler breeder. Growing up in a home that also included cats provided an early understanding of how different animals communicate, behave, and require different types of care. I have been professionally dog walking and house sitting for approximately 10 years, including providing services for clients in some of Tucson's more exclusive communities. Together, we bring years of practical experience, a strong understanding of animal behavior, and a genuine commitment to responsible care. Individualized Care We always aim to provide individualized services for every client and every pet. We don't believe in taking a one size fits all approach to animal care. We take each dog's breed, temperament, personality, age, energy level, health, and individual routine into consideration when caring for them. We understand that different breeds can have very different instincts, exercise requirements, communication styles, and mental stimulation needs; but we also know that every animal is different. Our goal is to find ways to keep your pets both mentally and physically stimulated so they remain happy, comfortable, and healthy while you're away. Depending on the individual pet, that may include walks, play, enrichment activities, training reinforcement, outdoor time, or simply providing a calm and structured environment. Our own Border Collie, Fly, is a big part of our lives and has further shaped our approach to dog care. Living with an intelligent, athletic working breed has given us an appreciation for the importance of balancing physical exercise, mental stimulation, structure, and downtime. House Sitting & Boarding When providing house sitting, we care for your home as well as your pets. We respect your privacy, follow your instructions, and treat your home with the same care and attention we would expect for our own. We created a packet for each pet parent to bring home and leave behind for us. This ensures that every single one of your requests are solidified and well understood. We like to think our boarding setup is a little “Hilton for hounds.” With two couches and three beds, multiple feeding options, freeze dried meats, single ingredient treats, and stainless steel water fountains throughout the home, your pet will have plenty of comfortable places to relax, eat, drink, and feel at home. Pick-Up & Additional Services For pets being picked up from boarding, we provide a basic wash and brush so your pet can head home feeling fresh. Additional services are also available and can be discussed during the meet & greet. Because every pet and household has different needs, we prefer to talk through those services personally rather than offering a one size fits all package. Meet & Greet Before any booking takes place, we require a meet & greet so that everyone has an opportunity to meet, discuss expectations, and make sure we're a good fit. For the safety and comfort of both parties, our initial meet & greets take place in a public location, typically at a dog park. This allows us to meet your pets in a neutral environment while discussing their routines, personalities, needs, and any questions you may have. We never assume that every dog will enjoy the same activities. We discuss your pet's comfort level, exercise needs, socialization preferences, and boundaries during the meet & greet before deciding what activities are appropriate.
