“Super compassionate and felt entirely safe leaving our little pup with Allie! She was very responsive, accommodating and flexible. She spoiled him with treats and he came back exhausted after having the best time. Thank you!”

About: Pls note: My husband Alieu (Ali-you) has started to help me manage bookings when possible. He will help with boarding and housesitting gigs, and will also join for meet and greets! I’ve had cats and dogs in my household since I was a toddler, including a cat and a pup with chronic and terminal illnesses of which I was the primary care giver. I’m comfortable with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes, and also comfortable with giving medications as directed. I have about 9 years experience being the primary caregiver for my own pets. Currently I have a 4yo pitbull husky mix named Blueberry (cat, dog, and human friendly)! I love going for long walks (allowing pups to sniff to their hearts content) and also open to hanging out at your house to provide care in the comfort of your pets own home. I also have some experience training Blueberry so I’m happy to pass along what I’ve learned! I use they & she pronouns. Born & raised in Boston. Beginning August 2025, I will be in training to become a Midwife. Excited to meet you and your pet! Some notes for my services: * Boarding: Your pup comes to me! I can only accept potty trained pups for boarding. I will only take multiple pups for boarding if they’re from the same household / friend group and have met. Requests for boarding can only be tentatively confirmed until I’ve seen how your pups and Blueberry get along at a pre-meet. * House sitting: I come to your pet(s)! My disclaimer is that have my own pup at home and prefer not to spend the night. As long as your pet is okay on their own overnight, I’m happy to work with pets of varied backgrounds/needs/training levels. I can only accept one house sitting booking at a time per Rover restrictions. * Drop ins: I come to your pet! Same notes as house sitting, within the context of shorter visits. I will do a short walk (15 mins) with pups during drop in visits unless instructed otherwise. If you’re not sure, just ask! I can be flexible (at my own discretion) and always open to answering questions. Beginning August 2025, I am training to become a Midwife. My husband Alieu helps with all my bookings, which is especially helpful if I get called away to attend a birth. We are flexible with availability, so always feel free to reach out if you need something! Your pets safety and security is my top priority! Please be sure to let me know the essentials of caring for your pet. You can expect that I’ll communicate openly and I’m not afraid to ask questions if needed.

“Margaret is just the kind of person you want to be with your pet. Margaret and Alex were the best. They cared for Una like she was her own, sent us pictures and were beyond profesionnal and loving. We could not be more grateful.”

About: I have been a dog owner for many years, with a major preference for small dogs. Not only do I have lots of experience caring for my own pets, but I have sat and cared for the dogs of many different friends and family, as well as those I don’t personally know well, over the years. I am patient, loving, always try to have fun with the dogs, and always try to give them the best care possible. I’ve had dogs all my life. I got my first dog, Lukey, when I was young and he was my best friend. Originally got him for my mother to keep her company, but fell in love with him myself and made him my own once she passed. I’d take him through the woods on walks and we eventually became inseparable. He passed at age 18. Eventually I met a woman who had two dogs of her own and they became like my kids. I had them for many years, although sadly they are all passed now as well. Currently I help care for two dogs with my ex who lives in the apartment below me, as we are still good friends. I make sure they are well cared for and take them out regularly. I love to play with them. I take dogs very seriously as they are like family to me. I can currently work Monday-Saturday, with exceptions. I do have to schedule around some minor things early in the morning, and those take priority, and those can be discussed, but otherwise I’m completely free. I love animals and always try to give them 100% of the love and attention they deserve. I feed them, walk them, take them out and play with them, and always try to give them my best. I’ve always treated my own dogs as if they were my children, and I extend that to any dog I care for.

“Wanda was a terrific dog sitter. This was our puppy Sheva's first overnight away from home, and Wanda (and her own dog Milo) settled her down very quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to call on Wanda again the next time we need someone to watch over Sheva.”

She is one of the most responsible and caring people I know—whether it's with her own children, the students she teaches, or the dogs she has lovingly owned for years. “Jamie is my sister and she is always the go to person to watch my dog Milo. She’s the go to person in our family for pretty much everything. Why? It’s because you can always trust that she is competent, knows what to do and very caring. She has been a great foster to rescue dogs in need. Absolutely loves dogs and fantastic with them. Very good with training as well because she’s patient, doesn’t sweat the small stuff (poop and pee, lol) and applies common sense vs harsh correction. Your dog will be in good hands!”
