About: I have been a STEM teacher for 5 years, handling classes with students of grade levels from middle school through seniors. I also pet sat my SIL’s cats at her house (one a senior, other younger) while she traveled overseas for a month, along with aiding in looking after four young puppies for a month. Also, I establish trust and care with both dogs and cats in a timely manner, ensuring that they fill safe and loved. Also, I have had several cats and dogs of my own throughout the years. I am currently in my summer break so I can be there for your pets practically at anytime, just busy on Monday and Wednesday mornings until 12 pm. In your home, I can feed, walk, play, and love your dogs and cats as much as is needed. If they have routines or need to be put up / crated, I can facilitate those.
About: As a trusted and dedicated pet sitter, I provide loving and reliable care for any fur baby while their families are away. I have experience administering medications and injections when needed, ensuring pets stay healthy and comfortable, whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I genuinely love spending time with animals and take pride in making them feel safe, happy, and loved. I am only available for housesitting because my little dog does not get along with any other dogs and my roommate would take care of her while I am away. I am currently working part time so I have more time to dedicate to cat/dog/ferret/bird, etc. sit. If I do have a full work day, I have the flexibility to come home and take them for a walk. I follow a consistent schedule tailored to each family’s preferences, ensuring every pet receives the care they need and the love they deserve. This includes feeding, administering medications, walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles and affection. I also keep the home tidy, including cleaning up after pets and making sure trash and recycling are taken out as needed.

About: What truly sets me apart is my deep commitment to providing attentive, specialized care for dogs at every stage of life. I don't just watch pets; I understand their unique rhythms and needs. I grew up with dogs and spent years caring for my own three sweet senior dogs until the the oldest baby passed at age 17. Through that journey, I became highly experienced in managing senior care, administering daily medications, and meticulously tracking health conditions and daily activities to ensure comfort and well-being. I know firsthand how much trust it takes to leave a senior or special-needs pup/kitty with someone, and I bring that exact level of devotion to every furbaby I care with. In addition to senior care, I am fully experienced in managing multi-dog and mutlti-cat households and keeping up with the high energy and structure needed for younger ones. Whether your baby needs gentle, patient medical care or active supervision and playtime, I treat them like family. Because I work full-time from home, my schedule is incredibly flexible, allowing me to integrate dedicated pet care seamlessly into my daily routine. Your furbaby will never feel lonely and will get plenty of attention throughout the day! Daytime Companionship & House Sitting: Working remotely means I am physically present. If I am house sitting or drop-in, your baby will have me nearby for potty breaks, scratches, and companionship while I'm there with them. Flexible Mid-Day Walks & Drop-Ins: I can easily step away for lunch-hour strolls or mid-day check-ins to break up your pet's day. Last-Minute Coverage: Life happens! Because I don't have a rigid commute, I am highly available for last-minute drop-in visits or emergency dog walking when your plans unexpectedly change. Whether you need a reliable routine or a quick, last-minute hand, I’m here to make sure your pup/kitty stays safe, happy, and on schedule. Safety and peace of mind are my top priorities. Because I work full-time from home, your furbaby is always under a watchful eye during house sittings, and I bring a strict, proactive safety protocol to every single walk and drop-in visit. On Walks & Outings: The Leash Never Leaves My Hand: Safety outside is absolute. I maintain a firm, constant grip on the leash at all times—no exceptions. Patience for Sniffing: Walks aren't just for exercise; they are for mental stimulation. I stop frequently to let dogs explore and smell their surroundings at their own pace. Weather-Ready Preparation: I make sure your dog is fully protected before we step out, whether that means applying anti-bug spray, putting on their doggie boots for hot pavement/cold ground, or dressing them in their raincoat. Constant Visual Supervison: Your dog will never leave my sight. I stay 100% focused on them, monitoring the surroundings for off-leash dogs or potential hazards. Cleanliness First: I always clean up after your dog during the walk. When we return, I wipe down their paws and fur so your floors stay completely clean. In Your Home (House Sitting & Drop-Ins): Respecting Your Space & Routine: I treat your home with the utmost respect and strictly follow your dog/cat's established schedule (feeding times, medication windows, and crating preferences) to keep their anxiety low. Meticulous Health & Medication Tracking: If your pet has medical needs, I track their daily medication schedule, appetite, energy, and bathroom breaks with exact precision. I am happy to maintain a daily log for you so you have full visibility into their well-being. Double-Checking Security: I always ensure all doors, windows, and yard gates are securely locked when entering or leaving your home. No matter the service, I provide frequent photo and text updates so you always know exactly how your furry family member is doing!
“Janine did a fantastic job caring for Wally while we were traveling! She was incredibly attentive, communicative, and patient throughout the entire process. Wally can be a little cautious and takes time to build trust with new people, and Janine was so understanding and willing to work with him at his own pace. Her patience, kindness, and dedication gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in great hands. We truly appreciate the care and effort she put into making Wally feel comfortable and safe. Janine is wonderful, and we will absolutely continue using her services. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!”

“Lindsay was amazing! She took notes at the meet and greet for some slightly complicated feeding instructions, and it was a huge plus that she’s such a good photographer of our cats! Our shyest cat flopped on the ground during her last visit, which is a very good sign that she trusts her! Will definitely use Lindsay again if she’s available!”

“Mie took care of our 2 cats while we were out of town for Christmas and did a great job. She kept us updated on how they were doing and was very responsive in all of our communication. I will definitely have her pet sit for us again! Thank you, Mie!”

About: I’ve taken care of various kinds and sizes of dogs and cats for years. Neighbors and friends have relied on me for the past 6 or so years to take care of their pets while they are away on holiday or just need some extra assistance with work schedules. My landlord unfortunately does not allow pets in the house but I am more than happy to watch your dogs and cats in the clients home. I am an active individual who loves to hike and go for long walks so your animals are bound to get lots of exercise with me! I currently just arrived home from a longer travel stint and am between jobs. Due to this I am available weekdays and weekends to take care of your animals via house sitting or even dropping in during the day for feeding, potty breaks or walks as you have a busy schedule! My landlord does not allow pets within my home but I am more than able to get to your home to take care of your animals! I enjoy taking animals on walks and ensure I talk to the clients beforehand if there is anything I need to be aware of for the animals safety (ie: one dog I took on walks jumps out at electric vehicles so I had to be more aware and keep a tighter leash to ensure safety).
“Christian took amazing care of Shifu! He looked after him for 5 days and was prompt, reliable and thoughtful. I got regular photo updates every day, which really put me at ease when I was away. I’d absolutely book Christian again without hesistation. Highly recommend.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - West Lake Sammamish
Yijun is excellent, she did everything perfectly, played with the kitties, cleaned the litter box perfectly, made sure the food water bowls were full daily. YiJun gave me lots of tips on new technology for the cats to feed them and new high-tech litter boxes all very informative. Also I loved the videos she sent daily. Overall an excellent experience especially since this was our first time using Rover someone in our home.
We had a wonderful experience with Sage. Very communicative and caring, with extra time spent with our cat when she wasn’t behaving well. Sage also cleaned up after her, which we really appreciated. We felt our cat was in great hands and would definitely recommend Sage!

Alex has been phenomenal with taking care of our cat while we were on vacation. She is calm, patient and loving, giving him the care and attention that he needed, while also carefully following all instructions. Our cat was happy and showed no signs of stress or anxiety when we returned. He loved the daily drop in visits and looked forward to snack and play time with Alex. Alex sent us daily updates with photos and a note which were very much appreciated. We look forward to having Alex take care of our cat in future when needed. Thanks Alex!

Amy is a great pet sitter and a real animal lover :) one of my cats has behavioral issues and one of them is older and Amy gives them patience and lots of playtime. I can tell from the photos of them that the cats are having fun during the visits. She notified me of any behavioral problems (spraying) so I am not surprised when I come home and kept the litter boxes clean including refilling the litter robot. I recommend Amy highly!

We have used Jelena multiple times for our cat sitting as we are very happy with her services and how she takes care of our cat. This trip, we had an unexpected issue that happened in our house but she alerted us right away and went above and beyond to help take care of the situation in our absence. We are very grateful for her and know we can depend on her when we go out of town. Thank you Jelena!

Jue is the best cat sitter anyone can ask for. First and formost, she studys animal behavior in school so she understands cats very well! . Second, She spent an hour before the first visit to get to know my place and my two cats, and took down a long list of notes, that shows how much ownership she had for this task. Third, she is a GREAT communicator! She responds to messages/requests very quickly, and will send pictures/videos and detailed visit cards so you know 100% your cats are doing well. Last thing, she really pays attention to details, and will help you with things that you cascually missed. In my case I missed cleaning the water fountain. Even though cleaning water fountain was not in the request, she noticed the bugs flying around she just took care of it. 10/10 recommended!

Our first time using Jennifer to check on our two boys. She was perfect! Great at communicating, always brought in packages, kept things clean, and the boys warmed up to her pretty quickly. And our request was pretty last minute so we're very grateful for her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
