“Joel gets our vote of 10 stars out of 5! In October 2021 we adopted Daisy, a 3 year old rescue dog that had been in 3 homes previous to ours. Knowing we may have some "issues" with her being "older" we immediately began training with her through a "big box" store. With an impending hospital stay I began to look for someone to board her with for the time we would be away. I found Joel, what an incredible blessing! He immediately bonded with Daisy and began evaluating/socializing her with other dogs. He sent photos and updates daily, and began working with her on some of her issues. We plan to use Joel again if the need arises, but also plan to continue training with him and use the "doggie daycare" to continue socialization. Joel is intuitive, educated, caring, and professional. I cannot recommend him enough! He's amazing!”

My wife also lives with me, so your pup will have a loving, comfortable home environment. I have an 8-year-old Black Lab named Bleu and a 3-year-old domestic shorthair cat named Scat. Both are part of the family and are used to having other animals around. 🐶🐱 I understand that life doesn’t always go according to plan. Work trips, vacations, last-minute changes, emergencies, or simply needing someone you trust to watch your pup can happen with very little notice. I’m happy to work with different schedules whenever I can because I know how important it is to have someone reliable you can count on. My goal is simple: treat your dog like they’re one of mine. ❤️ I’m comfortable caring for all kinds of dogs as long as they’re house-trained, dog- and cat-friendly, and not food aggressive. Outside of those basics, I’m pretty easygoing! I’m happy to follow your normal routines, feeding instructions, medication schedules, crate preferences, and whatever helps your pup feel comfortable. I also understand that every pet has a different personality — some want to play all day, some want constant cuddles, and some simply want a quiet place to nap. I’m happy to meet each pet where they’re most comfortable. Pets staying with me will have regular supervision and companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. Amber took such amazing care of our 15-year-old dog, Hugo, while we were in Europe for two weeks. Leaving a senior dog for that long can be stressful, but Amber immediately put our minds at ease. She was incredibly patient, loving, and attentive to his needs, and it was clear she genuinely cared about him. Hugo is family to us, and knowing he was being treated with so much kindness allowed us to fully enjoy our trip. We came home to a happy, comfortable pup, and we are so grateful for the care and affection Amber showed him. It takes a special person to care for a senior dog with the patience and understanding they deserve, and Amber was exactly that person. Sandy is very personable and knowledgeable about dogs. Since our first meeting, she has provided info about how she cares for dogs, her own as well as others. Cooper liked Sandy & her home and yard right away. He was happy to leave with her and happy to come home. She was kind and understanding about the nervous peedles. Sandy sent videos showing Cooper having fun running, and playing with a dog she provides daycare for which I appreciated. I provided Cooper's food, but when he charmed her into giving a little more rice with carrots and green beans, she cooked more for him. Will definitely ask Sandy and Chris to take care of Cooper again.
