I’m currently working part time so I still have plenty of time to play with your pups! I also live very close to my work so I can come and let the dogs out.

I live in a cozy 3 bedroom apartment fourplex. There’s a ton of green grassy yard to play on. I do have to keep dogs on a leash since it’s not fenced in. I also have a couple very long cable lead outs. Inside they’re more than welcome to come cuddle on the couch.

It’s important for me to know ahead of time if your dog has any physical and/or behavioral special needs. Also, any medications that need to be given, any allergies and specific dietary needs.
A typical day
We’ll go for walks, I have a really big nice park just down the street from me with a great walking path and tons of green grass. The Weber river parkway is very near me as well and I love to takes dogs on a walk along the river and the dogs love it as well. So many things to smell and explore as well as a little splash in the river as long as it’s ok. But it’s also nice to just have some down time cuddling on the couch and watching a movie.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid but I have watched other’s dogs on and off for the past 20 yrs. I love all dogs of all breeds and sizes. I’ve worked in a Veterinarian Clinic as a kennel tech/bather and in a dog daycare/boarding facility that at times could have an upwards of 100 dogs. I have some knowledge of dog health care, administering medications and tending to wounds. I am very good at reading dog body language as well. I do require some things. Your dog must be up to date on all vaccinations and I do suggest doing a meet and greet before hand. I also live in a fourplex so I can’t have dogs that bark excessively unless you have a vibrating collar of some sort that can manage it. That being said, caring for dogs is not a job to me but something I love more than anything and just an absolute privilege!

Kayla was amazing! She was so close to the freeway which made drop off easy! She sent pictures and I could tell Hondo was so cared for! She made drop off and pick up so simple. I would DEFINITELY use Kayla again and again!
Kayla was such a perfect fit for Kira! I had never left my dog with someone I didn't know and Kayla was so understanding and helpful. Kira tends to be very skittish and wary of strangers. Kayla has a calming and patient presence that I know helped our girl feel taken care of while we were gone an entire week. I will definitely be using her services again!
