About: I have had animals all my life ranging from dogs and cats to lizards, bunnies, and snakes. I have also worked in the petcare industry professionally as well for 7 years doing grooming, training, and vet tech work. I currently work form home so I can provide constant care if that is needed. “I had to leave my two Siamese boys home for the holidays. I was very nervous. I work from home and they aren't home alone much, if at all! Having true flame-point Siamese characteristics, they require constant attention and play. They are known to be one of the most social of cat breeds and are often called the royalty of cats for good reason! Lucy stayed over the whole week and did more than give them her undivided attention! She followed their feeding schedule and medicine administration. They had just been neutered a week before and she checked that they were still healing properly. She checked in with me and responded promptly when I texted her to see how things were going. She let me know how much time she was with them and when she was away. I could tell when I got home they had still gotten the amount of playtime and cuddles they need. She met with me beforehand and went over last minute details as I requested before I left. I was in a rush the day I left and Lucy watered my plants for me. My dishwasher was broken at the time and couldn't run water in one side of my sink. She made sure to not use them and hand washed any dishes. I left my only apartment key with her and she didn't forget to put it back for my return. Everything was tidy and perfectly taken care of. I can tell Lucy enjoys animals and watching them. It's not a "job" for her, but a joy she holds in her everyday life. I am excited to have found a permanent sitter and my kitties are happy they'll have a familiar friend when I'm gone! I’m currently in school working towards my x-ray degree. I have class Monday, Wednesday at five and Thursdays I’m unavailable all day. Jessica is wonderful! This was my first time having someone stay with Gatsby, and she made the whole experience so easy and reassuring. We contracted with Kerry to housesit with our 14.5 year old senior gal. Our last vacation was about eight years ago and we were very anxious about finding someone who would care for her with as much support as she’s used to receiving. Upon doing a meet & greet with Kerry, our fears were put to rest. After introducing himself, he immediately sat on the ground with our girl & waited patiently for her to approach him. He asked questions about her personality, habits, schedule, meals, etc while letting her get to know him. Between the meet & greet and our scheduled housesitting, they had several “walking dates” and soon grew familiar with each other. While we were out of town, Kerry sent photos and updates about walks, morning & evening routines, mealtimes, and he asked questions when necessary to ensure her needs and care were fully met. For anything that was a little new or unfamiliar, he took his time with her, giving her space & kindness to become comfortable with the activity. He also treated our home with respect. We’re so happy to have found Kerry! We would definitely recommend him for care, walks, housesitting for your furry family members. We’ll for sure work with him again.
Marcellene and her husband did wonderfully with our small zoo of dogs and cats, including a senior dog that needed medication and an overanxious dog. We met them in advance at the meet and greet and were pleased with their open communication. We received pictures and updates throughout the stay, multiple times a day, which was very important to us. They were adaptable and actively tried to be helpful with all of our requests. We came home to a clean house and happy, healthy animals. We also booked them separately for a last minute drop in to take our dogs in the backyard and they were super accommodating. We are very thankful.
We were a little nervous about leaving our two spoiled pups with someone new but Sami absolutely exceeded every expectation! This is her first time watching our dogs, and she took such wonderful care of them. She cuddled them, played with them, let Eden stay outside as long as she wanted, which is her favorite thing in the world and spoiled them exactly the way we do.
