I have also worked in the petcare industry professionally as well for 7 years doing grooming, training, and vet tech work. I currently work form home so I can provide constant care if that is needed. About: I have experience caring for dogs both for my family and through pet-sitting. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and getting to know each pet’s individual personality, routine, and needs. I regularly help care for my sister’s dogs and have been responsible for their care when she is away. This includes feeding them, providing fresh water, taking them for walks, spending time playing with them, and making sure they receive their vitamins, supplements, and other care according to their normal routine. I understand that every pet is different, so I take instructions from owners seriously. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, medications and supplements, exercise needs, household rules, and any special instructions an owner provides. I am comfortable asking questions when I need clarification because I would rather make sure I am doing something correctly than make an assumption. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. I enjoy walks, playtime, and simply relaxing with them so they have companionship while their owners are away. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. Because I do not currently work a traditional full-time schedule, I am often available throughout the day and can provide companionship, walks, playtime, feeding, and other routine care. I do best when scheduling expectations are communicated clearly in advance. If your pet needs care at specific times—such as meals, medications, walks, potty breaks, or bedtime routines—please provide those times as specifically as possible. Having a clear schedule helps me maintain your pet’s normal routine and make sure nothing important is missed. I primarily use an e-bike for transportation, so please let me know ahead of time if your pet’s care will require transportation outside of the home. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully and do my best to maintain each pet’s normal routine so they can feel comfortable and secure while you are away. Because I am autistic, I do best with clear, direct, and detailed instructions. I can sometimes have difficulty recognizing implied expectations, hints, or instructions that are open to interpretation. Written instructions are especially helpful for things such as medications, feeding, household rules, behaviors to watch for, areas that are off-limits, and what I should do if an unexpected situation occurs. If something is unclear, I would rather ask questions than assume what an owner wants. My sister also provides communication support when needed. She tries to attend meet-and-greets with me whenever possible and is available by phone during bookings and stays to help clarify instructions, make sure important questions are asked, and assist me with communicating detailed updates to owners. I take the responsibility of caring for someone else’s pet and home seriously. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and comfortable environment while respecting your home and following the routine you have established for your pet.

About: I grew with dogs and cats and I love to be around animals. I go on daily long walks and which are so much better with a dog! I also love to run and run with dogs. I go on long walks and runs on my own almost every day and it's even more fun with a buddy! I'd love to bring your dog along with me to explore nearby parks and trails! I can stay for as long as needed to care for and play with your pet, as well as taking them on long walks whenever it is needed or they would like!

I've been an animal caretaker my whole life — mainly dogs, but growing up we had everything: dogs, cats, rats, snakes, a pig, a goat, turkeys, chickens, ducks, horses, turtles, and fish. I started really doing the work of caring for them around age 9, so I have about 15 years of hands-on experience. As an adult I've had a dog, a few cats, and some chickens. Currently I have Cocoa (my dog), my cats Tigre, Princess Cecelia, and Blue, and 2 chickens. Because I've handled so many different species over the years, I'm comfortable with all kinds of animals and personalities: shy rescues, rowdy puppies, picky cats, you name it. About: Hello, My name is Alex. I am a lifelong dog lover and have been pet sitting and walking dogs for over 14 years. I worked as a Kennel Technician at Burch Creek Animal Hospital for 3 years and did a 5-week internship at Best Friends Animal Society where I took care of dogs, cats, horses, pigs and bunnies. I also have over 250 hours of volunteer work with different animal organizations. I raised a very difficult puppy at the age of 13 and he turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself. I have experience with all dog sizes, temperaments, ages and health statuses. I don't mind cleaning up messes and have cared from young, high-energy puppies to old dogs that need extra attention and care. I can also lift big dogs if needed. I love dog kisses and cuddles and have been known to sleep on pet beds with my puppies. (= I love to be outdoors walking and/or playing with dogs. Let me know if you want references! I am currently a full-time employee working 1 and 1/2 days a week from home and part time graduate student Weber State University. I can't currently take care of dogs who need someone with them throughout the day like puppies or dogs with medical issues. I always make sure to take part of my lunch break to take the dog out for a potty break/walk. I always make sure a dog gets a walk everyday if requested by the owner. I am able to spend the morning and evening with your pets as well as my work from home days during the week. When I take care of your animals, I take the time to make sure that the safety and well-being of you pets are looked after. From the door and windows being locked, food and other tempting things put out of reach and appliances being turned off, I don't want anyone to stress about these things while on vacation. I treat every house I stay at as I would my own.

About: We have a dog park right next to my unit & I promise you I know how hard it is to trust someone with your fur baby! I will love and take care of them, ensuring they don't feel lonely or abandoned. <3 I think updates are very important & provide so much reassurance and comfort that your dog is safe, loved & helps with having that communication❤️ I'm home and available most days! We have a small mini fenced off dog park right next to our townhome & a small private patio. I am fairly quick to respond to inquiries. I am a CNA, but taking a short break enjoying caring for fur babies these days ❤️ There is a fenced off dog park right next to my home, I go in there with the dog and make sure no other dogs are in to ensure safety, and frankly you just never know how dogs will be around eachother. I have a private patio as well. I think being attentive to your pet, providing whatever accommodations needed helps build trust & comfort to not only you, but your pet!

About: I have always been drawn to animals, so. much so that I became a Zoology major at Weber State! I have worked in a boarding facility, shadowed veterinarian practices, and of course had my own dogs and even reptiles. I have a natural rapport with animals and get great joy from everything about them! I am currently a student at Weber State University, and have a very flexible schedule. I have only one or two classes a day and when not I am not in class I spend a lot of my time at home studying. I have a fenced in yard and a park a block away that serves as a great place to walk and play around! I have a roommate who also loves animals and is willing to help out if needed.
