About: I will provide alot of affection and give them my full attention. I provide great walks and can get them good exercise. I know how to take care of puppies and I am not afraid of big dogs. Being a pet parent of 3 dogs myself, I know how to take care of dogs in a group and respond to all of their individual needs. If your dog needs a friend that can make them feel at home while you are away or is in need of alot of love, affection and great care, I am the person to contact because I will take care of them as if they were my own. I am a very fast learner and will do my best to give your dog the best experience possible. My goal is to ensure your dogs will enjoy being with me as much as I will enjoy being with them! I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to spend plenty of time with your fur babies and give them all the love and attention that they need while you are not with them. I am available everyday after 3 pm except for Monday through Wednesday when I am available all day. I love to take care of your fur babies in their own home where they feel comfortable with their already familiar surroundings. They are already missing their parents, they don't need to miss their home too. I can adapt to their daily routine to ensure that they keep the routine and environment that makes them happy.
About: I love walking and caring for dogs. I believe that regular exercise is important for every pet. I have been walking dogs for years. Over the past few months i have been providing daily care for my sisters two dogs. I have a flexible schedule and would love to be your pets favorite walker. I can fit your schedule very easily and will help your pet get appropriate exercise. I have been making sure my sisters dog got the vitamins and supplements he needed over the past few months when she was out of state.
“Liz has been great with Vega. It took a couple visits for Vega to be comfortable with Liz as she does not like strangers or people in general! Vega is now letting Liz walk, pet, and cuddle with her!”

“Claudia is THE absolute best ever. My golden retriever Loki clearly had the time of his life with her on their long 2 mile walk. She seemed to enjoy her time with him just as much as he did, which melts my heart. That’s what everyone hopes for. She was sooo nice and lots of fun to chat with. And she took TONS of pictures (even had him posing on a bench for her ?). 1000/10 adore her and would trust her with my boy anytime!”

About: I have had a passion to care for animals as long as I can remember! I grew up around animals and have years of experience pet sitting. I've also spent time volunteering at my local animal shelter. I currently have mini poodle named Bradley. Bradley is definitely more than just a dog to me, he is my best friend! I'll be happy to perform any duties needed to help your animal feel happy, safe and loved! I just graduated with my bachelor's in social work and now have more free time and looking to spend it doing something I love! I have a flexible work schedule at the moment so I can prioritize what time you are looking for. My flexible schedule gives me the opportunity to spend a lot of time with your pets. I know dogs typically do not enjoy being left alone and are happier as well as behave better with someone around.
About: I have experience with lots of different breeds of dog from big to small. I also accept cats and caged animals. I would love to care for your furry friends! I’m available for drop in care during the day and weekends. I can offer boarding any day of the week. My schedule can be flexible to meet your needs. I have a fenced backyard and two large crates inside. I have space to separate pets if required. I have extra litter boxes for cats.
About: Animals are my love language! I have been a pet sitter off and on for 25 years, raised and cherished an abandon kitten for 18 years, have lots of experience in loving furbabies and sadly, losing furbabies. I have trained my puppies and dealt with senior care in both cats and dogs. I love to play, cuddle, nurture and won’t hesitate to go beyond the standard of care. If your animal is anxious I will spend time with them to reassure them, if they need space I will do that too. I’ve administered meds to both dogs and cats and have extensive experience with quality of life care, anxiety and animal quirkiness. I’m a mom with lots of time to give your animals. Aside from the daily “mom duties” I am pretty available throughout the day and night (no overnights at client houses). If you have an emergency and need immediate care, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I can usually make things work to help you out. I live in a townhome and have a small fenced yard but lots of room to walk around my neighborhood. I have a senior dog who is very friendly and takes on mama duties, especially with puppies. My cat is friendly and will typically stay away from other animals unless she wants to play. While at my house your animals will have free rein downstairs with me but will also have to option to be kenneled if you prefer at times.
“Cami was incredible during our trip abroad. It was such a relief to see my boy warm up more and more each walk and to know he was getting cared for and loved. She’s so good at leaving post walk pictures and reviews and they were a highlight while we were away from home. Thank you thank you thank you!”

About: I do this full time! Which means i'm available all day everyday and Holidays (If i'm not booked) Holiday season is slowly approaching so I recommend booking with me as soon as you can to reserve your spot! However, I also accept last minute bookings if I am available! I try to keep my calendar accurate and up to date with my availability to make it easy on all of us! Before starting Rover I have had the opportunity to take care of 7 pets at the same time in the same household for 2 weeks. Those animals included dogs, cats, fish, a guinea pig, puppies and senior dogs. Having a love for animals and after starting Rover I've now had the opportunity to add on to the list entailing kittens, chickens, a bunny, and a turtle. I have administered medicine and know how to get the energy out of energetic puppies. The longest time I have stayed at a clients house to watch their pets was 3 weeks. Now I gratefully continue to stay at a growing number of houses with returned customers. :) I am able to provide care for all animals, besides indoor cats for house sitting services. Sadly, I am allergic to them and have tried to make it work with allergy pills but to no success. (drop-in service for cats are okay since i'm not with them full time) Lets dive into my weekly schedule :) Outside of house sitting requests-Tuesdays through Thursdays I have ongoing pet check-ins that take me about 2-3 hours max including drive time. I treat the current home that I'm staying at as "Home Base" so to speak. So other then those 2-3 hours for pet check-ins I stay at your home the whole time! If you have any concerns about my schedule over the time of our booking please don't hesitate to reach out for specific details or questions you have for me when it comes to looking after your loved ones, I’m happy to oblige! Rover won’t let me change it but I’m located in Clinton, not west haven. I accept house sittings as far as Salt lake and Brigham :) Being a pet owner myself I understand how comforting it is to know your pets and house are in good hands. I value honest open communication, and professionalism. Before the set dates I like to arrange a meet and greet to 1.) See each other in person and gauge if the request is a good fit for all participants involved 2.) Show me the pets and around the house (water shut off, cameras, where pets food is located, water any plants, and any other instructions.) 3. Ask each other any questions and vice versa 4.) emergency contacts and vet info Once the booking is confirmed and the time has come, I love to give pet photo updates and text updates throughout the stay to the owners. I always strive for clients to come home to happy pets and a clean house after a trip :) side note: on the left side of the page I've included a picture and info about my own pet to help ease worry that I am good taking care of big dogs as I have a big one myself- who stays at my parents house while I provide these services :)
“Shayley did amazing with our dogs. Took care of them and walked and played with them a ton. She also sent us a lot of pictures to keep our peace of mind. Will definitely be rebooking with Shayley in the future!”

“Kaitlyn was great! You can tell she has lots of experience with dogs of all kinds and was amazing at making our dog feel comfortable! She was reliable and made sure all needs were met! I would absolutely recommend her to care for your animals!”

“Kerry was great !! He actually came to be introduced to my dogs prior and took some time to get to know them and see how the interacted. On the walk he was gentle and worked on the dogs behavior of pulling. Can’t recommend him enough to anyone with large dogs”

West Haven dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sam was so attentive to our needs and puppies. Both way, nearly 100 pounds each one coming in it 8+ years of age and the other only eight months. She took them for a walk separately and sent us pictures along with letting us know how many times they use the restroom. Sam also reported back with updates on their use on the leash and who was pulling and when they got tired. Both got a mile in and we will definitely be working with her again!
