About: We love dogs (and all animals)! Both of us grew up with dogs in our home and we were both raised by animal lovers who passed that passion onto us! We both have experience with all stages of life (puppy through senior), we’ve administered medication, cleaned up all of the messes, and have worked with reactive dogs. We’ve both trained our own dogs and have worked with a trainer for our dog, Basil. We understand that each pup has their own unique personality and their own needs and we are happy to provide whatever they need! I currently have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I am home most of the time working remotely and when I do have to be in office for work, it’s typically only for a couple of hours a few days a week. My office is less than 5 mins from my house as well, so I am close by at all times and I have the flexibility to leave if and when I need to. My husband works from home and is home all the time, so between the two of us, someone is always available! We do leave the house together in the evenings and on weekends sometimes, but never for more than a few hours at a time. In our home, we have a large fenced backyard with ample room for your baby to run and play! We have 3 pups of our own. Gunther is a senior Springer Spaniel who is pure love and will play with anyone and everyone. Basil is a 2 year old Aussie mix who loves to run and play, but takes a few mins to warm up to new friends sometimes. And Drew is a senior chihuahua who is happy doing his own thing but is very sweet and patient with all friends! We do also have 2 cats in the home who will respect your pup’s space as long as they respect the cat’s space. In your home, we will follow any special guidelines given. We are very respectful of your space and your pet’s space. We are clean and professional. We will make sure your pet has food, water, potty breaks, and LOVE while we hang out with them. We love to play with all fur babies whether it’s inside with toys or outside with a ball! We can take them on walks, administer medication, clean up any messes (inside or out) and provide endless cuddles if they are comfortable with it!
About: Ive taken care of pets since I was 7. My first pet was a salamander named "Ziggy." My next pet was a cat named "Jenny" who lived until she was 22-years old! Currently I have a blue heeler named "Sugar" who I absolutely Love! Sugar likes treats and needs as much exercise as possible. I throw the ball for her and I take her on a walk every day around 8:00 PM when it cools down. I talk to pets. My voice seems to soothe them if they are nervous about a new person visiting. More importantly, I make sure your pets are safe before I leave. I know what it is like to leave your Fur babies and want to ensure you can relax knowing they are in good hands.
“Jayd and Ecko were fantastic to work with and did an amazing job while we were gone on a trip! They went above and beyond, always sent a ton of pictures and spent quality time playing with our dogs beyond what we expected. We came home to pups who were much calmer and more relaxed than usual, which we can absolutely attribute to the time Jayd and Ecko took to make sure they got all the love and care they needed while we were away. We will absolutely book with them again!”

About: I have worked and dogsat multiple times since I was in Junior High School (2017) I have two dogs of my own, a family dog and my own girl. I have loved dogs since I was a little girl and loved every chance I had to spend with any of them. I currently work full time at Olive Garden as a server so my hours are quite set but also flexible for dog sitting, or walking! I live in an apartment complex, so I would not be available to have in home stays for the pets and animals I would be watching.
About: I have dogsat dogs for longer than a week as well as owned multiple dogs myself, so I am very experienced. I have a Veterinary Technician Certificate, this gives me insight on different techniques of animal care. I've got plenty of time on my hands. So I'm pretty much always open. For house sitting I would like as much time in advance as possible, one week at minimum. I'm only able to pet sit animals at their own home, I live in an apartment with 3 other people so it'd get crowded. I can offer bathing your pet. I am attentive to detail, so I know when a pet is in need of something. I'm punctual, so any schedule you have for your pet I will follow it to a T. I can bring my own food so I won't have to be eating yours. I am able to stay the night if needed. I will pick up any feces in your yard or in a litterbox if needed. I enjoy playing with animals so they won't ever feel down.
“Kerry was great !! He actually came to be introduced to my dogs prior and took some time to get to know them and see how the interacted. On the walk he was gentle and worked on the dogs behavior of pulling. Can’t recommend him enough to anyone with large dogs”

In my home, dogs enjoy plenty of space and freedom on our 3.25-acre property, with partially fenced areas for safe outdoor play and exploration. Our three-bedroom home offers a calm, comfortable environment where dogs can relax and feel at home. I tailor care to each dog’s routine and preferences. Whether your dog is used to sleeping in a kennel at night or prefers to sleep outside or uncrated, I’m happy to accommodate what they’re most comfortable with. Throughout the day, dogs get lots of supervised playtime, exercise, and attention—there’s never a shortage of love or fun here. I can administer medications as directed and always follow feeding schedules and special instructions. About: I have watched the pets of neighbors/friends/family many a time, when I was younger I volunteered at the shelters, and as a tradesman I encountered animals when you wouldn't think. Now I'm going a different route in life I'm just trying to live in a more relaxed manner, just trying to make some money and make a few furry friends along the way. I do gig/freelance work to accommodate family needs. But I am pretty free and open most days. So book me and let's get to walkin! A 1/8 acre fenced back yard with shaded patio and two water bowls, and a doggy door everything a dog needs for a day.

About: I've shared my life with dogs since I was 3 years old, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I became a vegetarian at 13 because of my deep love and respect for animals, and I truly believe they deserve patience, kindness, and attentive care. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with a caring companion, I'll make sure they receive personalized attention and plenty of affection. My goal is to care for every pet as if they were my own. I currently work a unique 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule, which gives me an entire week at a time dedicated to caring for pets. During my weeks off, I have the flexibility to provide attentive, dependable care while you’re on vacation, traveling, or busy with work. I’ll work with you to make sure your pet’s routine stays as consistent and comfortable as possible Your pet's safety is my top priority. I'll carefully follow your instructions and keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible. I'll always ensure dogs are securely leashed before going outside, double-check that gates and doors are closed, and only use crates if that's part of your pet's normal routine. During walks, I'll stay aware of our surroundings, avoid unsafe situations, and use reflective gear and lights when walking in low-light conditions. I'll also respect your home by keeping it clean, locking doors and windows when I leave, and sending regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe and well cared for.
About: Hey there! I’ve been pet-sitting for friends, family, and clients for almost 10 years. I love both dogs and cats (and other pets as well), and have experience in caring for multiple pets at once. I am happy to watch pets who have medical needs, and make sure they are especially cared for. I am able to administer injected and oral medicine, and I can follow any and all detailed instructions. 📝 I also love plants, and can take the role of plant-sitter as well as pet-sitter if needed! 🌱 I work part time (about 15 hours a week) so I have a very flexible schedule. I will be able to drop-in and visit your pet every 4-6 hours. If I am dogsitting, I will be in your home for most of the day: I usually only leave for work or any appointments I may have. I am hyper aware of pets who are escape artists. I always make sure to double check that doors are closed and locked before I leave. I have been house sitting for many years and have never had any problems with doors/locks/ etc. I make sure there are no hazards that pets could get themselves into. I am knowledgeable about plants and foods that are dangerous for pets.

Hannah is the best! She was available on such short notice to walk my dog Merry while I was sick. Merry was very comfortable with her and she took him on an incredible walk. I’m so grateful! She was on time and super easy to work with and I 10/10 recommend her! Thank you Hannah!!

Cami was incredible during our trip abroad. It was such a relief to see my boy warm up more and more each walk and to know he was getting cared for and loved. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
