“Chris, and her family, were amazing with Harley. He was so well taken care of and loved in their home. I have already booked Harley's next stay. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.”

“Elise did such a good job with my puppy! Our cute little furball came home happy and very well loved. Not only did her kids give her lots of attention (which is just like home), but our puppy got lots of interaction with their dog too, which was really helpful for her socializing. We knew she was in good hands! And as an added perk, Elise even sent a picture and video of our puppy playing in the snow. Too cute! Thank you, Elise! We will definitely be returning!”

“Kimberly did a great job with our dog Max! She sent photos and videos and was easy to communicate and work with. Max had a great time and came home tired and happy. Would 100% book with her again.”

“Mitchell communicated very well and took great care of our high energy dog. She came home very happy and tired after playing with Crosby for a few days and we got cute pictures and updates throughout our trip. I'd absolutely recommend boarding your pups with him.”

“Tania provided a wonderful home away from home for my senior dog! Her yard has plenty of space to move around and my dog easily made friends with her two dogs. Tania sent two or three updates each day with pictures and video, which put me at ease with it being my dog's first time away from home. I was booking last-minute, and Tania was upfront about another dog already being booked on what was the last day I needed someone to watch my dog, and I appreciated that so much. It was so easy communicating with her. Would definitely book her again if we have the need!”

“Julie was incredibly kind and took great care of our pups! My dogs like napping on the couch and we loved that they would make themselves cozy just like at home! Her home and yard were very clean, which my husband and I really appreciate:)”

“Michael and Alex were amazing taking take of our pup. Clearly very experienced. Michael was very fast in communication. I appreciated the picture updates we got during Apolo’s stay. They were very accommodating in adjusting pick up time when our flight got delayed. Overall very positive experience”

“Kyla was so flexible with the time when my flight was delayed. So much appreciated! I felt that my dogs were well cared for. She gave my little pup the medication she needed. I’ll definitely use her again. Thank you Kyla!!”

“Pazely and her family are amazing with our fur baby, Scar! They are great people and are amazing with dogs. We always feel confident that Scar is in the best care when we leave her with Pazely!”

“Best dog-boarder ever! We left Skye, our beloved 9 1/2 golden retriever, with Casey for 2 weeks. Casey and her kids showed our girl real affection and took excellent care of her. Skye went out for walks every day, and Casey sent pictures regularly so we could still see our girl. Casey's dogs were very gentle in their play with Skye, recognizing that she's an older dog. We (and Skye) couldn't have been happier with Skye's care while we were away.”

“Antoinette took such great care of our dog during a weekend that we left town. Would definitely recommend her to anyone on rover. She sent lots of photos of our dog, and we felt like she was in really good hands👍”

“My dog had a grande time with them! They took him on daily walks and played his favorite game (fetch) every chance they got. They made sure to send daily pictures and updates. They took amazing care of my baby. Would highly recommend them!”

“Rachel was so accommodating! Treated our pup like he was her own. I will continue to use Rachel in the future and will highly recommend her to our friends and family.”

“I deeply appreciate Jackie and her family taking Lucky in for a couple of nights. I'm particularly happy with her routine texts to let us know how he was doing, interacting and all, and I was very glad they were able to accommodate his medication routine, as well.”

“Susie watched our dog Molly and she was so good at sending photos to us along with a message about what they did that day. After our first meeting with Susie we had the impression she truly loves dogs and that our dog would be loved and cared for being left with her. We will definitely use her again.”

About: Grew up training horses and caring for many animals including dogs, cats and rabbits to name a few. Each pet in my care will recieve some one on one time with me, and lots of cuddles and attention. I am a retired social worker, generally at home, I may leave for a few hours for errands then all pets are comfortable in kennels. I have 2 small dogs of my own, they are friendly, a fenced yard for play and exercise. Bring your own kennel and pet food. Pets are welcome on furniture but generally enjoy sitting on a pillow in my lap.
“Macie did a wonderful job taking care of Moose.💕 She sent lots of photos to show how well he was doing, and made me feel like he was being taken care of really well. We will be working with Macie again!”

I've been training and working with dogs since I was 13 years old and I can say with bold confidence that Jessica is amazing! She truly cares about each and every dog and gets to know their personalities individually. I do not trust a lot of people with my puppies they're family Jessica joins the rankes of that small trusted few. We will be back.

Becca was absolutely wonderful! We had 2 meet and greets for dogs to acclimate to each other. She is very good reading dog’s body language. She was able to keep things in control and let the dogs get adjusted. Becca is also very accommodating. We had to cancel due to an urgent matter and she worked with us until we could move forward and set a date for our trip. She was wonderful with our dog. She loves animals and she loved Cash and his sweet personality traits. Cash needs a little extra care and work and she was very willing and happy to accommodate everything I asked. I will definitely use Becca again. She is a great find!
I can’t say enough good things about Ryan. We lucked out when we found him several years ago. He has been our consistent pet sitter for going on four years now and it’s so upsetting that we’re moving because I fully trust my pets in his care. He truly cares about the animals he watches and I know my animals are in the best hands

Morgan was amazing! She was easy to communicate with and took the best care of my golden doodle! She sent pictures regularly and made me feel comfortable at please while our family was away! We were all able to enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was being well cared for and entertained while we were away! Highly recommend!

Chaylee was wonderful. This was our first time ever boarding or having someone watch our dog that wasn’t a family member. She was extremely kind, very responsive, sent many photos that honestly helped with the anxious feeling of our Ghost being in a new place. It was very much a new happy place. Truly she deeply cares for pets and is just a kind and sweet soul. Thank you very much

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
