“Nemesis was so good to my puppy when I had to leave for a work trip. She shared pictures, was always responsive to my questions, met us before hand and treated my girl like her own dog. Thank you Nemesis for your gentle nature and love of dogs!”

“I don’t think I could be more thankful for Rebecca and the amazing care she gave Mia. It was our first time using this app, and we were canceled on twice by other sitters at the very last minute. The situation was very stressful but we ended up finding her, and she took Mia in and cared for her for 12 days. She was kind and attentive the entire time, constantly sending messages and photos. I truly felt I could trust her and that she genuinely cares for dogs, it’s not just about the money. I would definitely use her help again in the future or recommend her to anyone. Thank you, Rebecca, for everything! 🤍”

“I recently had the pleasure of using Rover for my dogs, and I can't express enough how wonderful the experience was. My dogs were taken great care of and spoiled. From the moment we arrived, the sitter showed genuine love and attention to my furry friends, making them feel right at home. They even had a cozy spot on the couch for cuddles during movie time. The sitter provided daily updates with photos, which reassured me that my pups were happy and well-cared for. I truly appreciated the personalized attention each dog received, as my sitters took the time to understand their individual needs and quirks. It was clear that my dogs were not just cared for, but truly cherished during their stay. I highly recommend Rover for anyone looking to find a reliable, loving, and attentive environment for their pets. I will definitely be using their services again in the future!”

“This was the first time we used Rover before we always boarded Sadie in a kennel and it just wasn't working. But Charity was our first positive experience leaving Sadie. She was an amazing sitter. She sent pics and posts and for the first time, Sadie ate while she was away from home. Thank you so much charity”

“This was the first time leaving our dog, Dodger for an extended period. After meeting Danii, I felt a great sense of confidence right away that it was going to be a good experience for Dodger. It felt like Danii had great love dogs and was dedicated to making sure Dodger was well taken care of and that in her words they would get go on lots of adventures together. Thanks Danii!”

About: Hi, my name is Annette and I have loved animals my whole life! I had show animals through my 4-H and FFA years where I was able to train, nuture, and love sheep and steers that I showed at the county fair. I was raised on a farm and had the opportunity to be able to also ride and care for horses. I have had two dogs in our family that have been loved and miss them dearly. I am at an age in my life where we can travel a little bit more without having to worry about dog care for myself anymore. I know how hard it is to find good loving care for your fur babies when the need for vacation or travel occurs. Thats why I would love to give those entrusted in my loving care to have a worry free vacation or drop in visits, providing walks and potty breaks when life gets busy. Here is a little background information about myself and my previously owned dogs that have been very loved and no longer with me. I do work a Physical Therapy job Monday - Thursday. Two days are half days and the other two are full 10 hour days. My black purebred pug named Angus was with me for almost 15 years. I recently lost our Dorky (yorkie/dachshund mix) named Bentley aka Mr. Beans also known as Mr. Weenie who was with us for just over 16 years. Grandma to our 3 year old grandpup Graham who is a long hair dachshund who visits us often. I found this Rover app and decided to give it a try as a side hobby to spend some time with your animals to help my heart heal as I love dogs! Dogs speak to my soul and therapy for our hearts! ❤️ I am currently working Monday thru Thursdays. Available to let dogs roam outside before work, lunch breaks, and after work with being crated during work hours only. My fenced in Back yard allows freedom to roam free, play, and explore. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard for your dog to run around and roam, or if you prefer me to come to your house that is also another option. love taking walks, whether it is around your neighborhood or mine, your dog is welcome with a harness or leash to come on a walk with me. I have 2 clean kennels or you can bring your own if you prefer and a home full of love.
“I can’t say enough good things about Michael! It was our second time using his services, and despite a few months passing, my dog recognized his home right away and was immediately comfortable. His thoughtful and regular updates put my mind at ease while I was out of town. Michael is wonderfully flexible, professional, reliable, and responsive, and I absolutely recommend him to anyone.”

“Shadow had a great time with Jocelyn. I was away for 15 days and she took such good care of him. She sent us regular updates and photos of shadow having fun! Shadow got along very well with her pet as they shared the same temperament. Would highly recommend her for your fur baby.”

“These guys were fantastic! They kept me updated on how my dog was doing and she seemed perfectly happy there playing with their dogs and sleeping with their kids and stuff. I would totally use them again!”
“Macie did a great job taking care of our sweet Lucky! She is super sweet & you can tell she loves animals! 💕🐾 We enjoyed the pics she sent & grateful she took Lucky on walks & brushed him! I wish I could share the pic of him grinning from ear to ear in their beautiful backyard. Macie was willing to take care of Lucky even with his special needs at the moment & it was a last minute ask. 😊 He came home soft, happy & healthy! Thanks so much for taking such great care of our sweet Lucky Blue!!! I highly recommend Macie & her family, they are Awesome!!! ✨💕🌈💕✨”

“Jessica took such good care of our sweet puppy. It was our first time going somewhere without her (she’s only 6-months old) and we were on vacation during the 4th of July holiday. Jessica went above and beyond to comfort and care for our girl, even amidst all the stress that fireworks bring with dogs. We will definitely use Jessica again next time we need pet services. ?”

“So happy with Ashlee! My dog looked healthy and was so happy during her stay. Ashlee is very transparent and was excited to share updates with me (texts, photos and videos). I absolutely recommend!”

“Crowe and Taylor are amazing and take such good care of our pup! We love the pictures, videos & updates they send us. We always know our pup is well loved, having the best time & taken care of.”

“I had to leave town on official duty and had to leave my dog, Rocky, behind especially because he wasn’t in the best shape health-wise, I was anxious, uncertain, and honestly scared about being away from him while he was unwell. Then came Alicia and Mikel, two absolute angels. From the moment I dropped Rocky off, I knew I had made the right choice. They welcomed him with such warmth and care, it was like he became a part of their family. While I was away, they went above and beyond nursing him slowly back to health, tending to his needs with incredible patience, and showering him with the kind of love only true animal lovers understand. They never once complained, never treated his condition like a burden. Instead, they kept me constantly updated with messages, photos, and honest progress reports bringing me so much comfort while I was miles away. They changed his bandages every day without complaining even when Rocky tried to bite them because he didn't like them touching his leg they were still able to find a walk around somehow to make sure his paws were bandaged properly i'm forever grateful Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. I’ll never forget what you did for my boy. Anyone lucky enough to have you care for their pet is in the best hands imaginable.”

“Tania was an awesome dog sitter for our 6 month old puppy. She sent updates with pics and videos, and was careful to keep her training routine. Our dog had so much fun there she wanted to stay and play. We will be using Tania again!”

“Emily is so great! It was our first time boarding and she made our dog so comfortable and happy, and kept us reassured with great care and updates. She accommodated anything that our dog needed. I would 100% recommend her, and we will use her for future stays!”

About: Ive taken care of pets since I was 7. My first pet was a salamander named "Ziggy." My next pet was a cat named "Jenny" who lived until she was 22-years old! Currently I have a blue heeler named "Sugar" who I absolutely Love! Sugar likes treats and needs as much exercise as possible. I throw the ball for her and I take her on a walk every day around 8:00 PM when it cools down. I talk to pets. My voice seems to soothe them if they are nervous about a new person visiting. More importantly, I make sure your pets are safe before I leave. I know what it is like to leave your Fur babies and want to ensure you can relax knowing they are in good hands.

Brittany took such good care of our 10 month old puppy Nala! We got back after an 11 day vacation and we could tell she was well cared for by Brittany. We appreciated the daily photos and updates we received every morning. Would definitely rebook Brittany for our vacation next year. I feel confident leaving our beloved pup in her hands. So much better for our pet than a cage in a Vet kennel boarding.

As someone who is very nervous leaving my dog- they did such an amazing job at keeping me updated and making sure I knew that Zara was being loved and comfortable in their home! Their kids were very loving and playful with her as well! I could tell zara was just as comfortable and loved as she is at home! 10/10 recommend if you want to be updated, and have your pup loved while you are away!🤍🤍

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
