About: Ive taken care of pets since I was 7. My first pet was a salamander named "Ziggy." My next pet was a cat named "Jenny" who lived until she was 22-years old! Currently I have a blue heeler named "Sugar" who I absolutely Love! Sugar likes treats and needs as much exercise as possible. I throw the ball for her and I take her on a walk every day around 8:00 PM when it cools down. I talk to pets. My voice seems to soothe them if they are nervous about a new person visiting. More importantly, I make sure your pets are safe before I leave. I know what it is like to leave your Fur babies and want to ensure you can relax knowing they are in good hands.
“This was Bogie’s second time at Michael’s house and he was so excited to be back. He loves the human attention that he gets and enjoys playtime in their huge backyard. They keep me updated on Bogie with regular photos. I already have another week booked with Michael and am so grateful to have found them.”

“Shadow had a great time with Jocelyn. I was away for 15 days and she took such good care of him. She sent us regular updates and photos of shadow having fun! Shadow got along very well with her pet as they shared the same temperament. Would highly recommend her for your fur baby.”

“Very kind to our Luna! Did not worry one stitch about her. Caregivers home was clean. She was clear about where our pup would be staying and open to our needs. Great happy experience!”

“This was the first time leaving our dog, Dodger for an extended period. After meeting Danii, I felt a great sense of confidence right away that it was going to be a good experience for Dodger. It felt like Danii had great love dogs and was dedicated to making sure Dodger was well taken care of and that in her words they would get go on lots of adventures together. Thanks Danii!”

“As soon as I met Molly I knew my pup would be in great hands because I could really tell she cared a lot about her own dog Pippin. Molly did a great job with Ruffins and kept me up to date with his daily happenings. Molly did a great job with keeping up with his medication, as well as his scruffy hair. I would definitely recommend Molly and Pippin to anyone. ”

About: Hi, my name is Annette and I have loved animals my whole life! I had show animals through my 4-H and FFA years where I was able to train, nuture, and love sheep and steers that I showed at the county fair. I was raised on a farm and had the opportunity to be able to also ride and care for horses. I have had two dogs in our family that have been loved and miss them dearly. I am at an age in my life where we can travel a little bit more without having to worry about dog care for myself anymore. I know how hard it is to find good loving care for your fur babies when the need for vacation or travel occurs. Thats why I would love to give those entrusted in my loving care to have a worry free vacation or drop in visits, providing walks and potty breaks when life gets busy. Here is a little background information about myself and my previously owned dogs that have been very loved and no longer with me. I do work a Physical Therapy job Monday - Thursday. Two days are half days and the other two are full 10 hour days. My black purebred pug named Angus was with me for almost 15 years. I recently lost our Dorky (yorkie/dachshund mix) named Bentley aka Mr. Beans also known as Mr. Weenie who was with us for just over 16 years. Grandma to our 3 year old grandpup Graham who is a long hair dachshund who visits us often. I found this Rover app and decided to give it a try as a side hobby to spend some time with your animals to help my heart heal as I love dogs! Dogs speak to my soul and therapy for our hearts! ❤️ I am currently working Monday thru Thursdays. Available to let dogs roam outside before work, lunch breaks, and after work with being crated during work hours only. My fenced in Back yard allows freedom to roam free, play, and explore. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard for your dog to run around and roam, or if you prefer me to come to your house that is also another option. love taking walks, whether it is around your neighborhood or mine, your dog is welcome with a harness or leash to come on a walk with me. I have 2 clean kennels or you can bring your own if you prefer and a home full of love.
“Maria and Ian are wonderful people who have a genuine love for dogs! Leaving our fur babies with someone we don’t know can be worrisome, but from the second we met them we felt at ease. They took excellent care of our two dogs, including our senior dog who can be a little complicated. The girls came home tired and happy! We would use them again and recommend them to anyone. We appreciate the love and care you showed our dogs, Maria and Ian! Thank you!”

Brittany took such good care of our 10 month old puppy Nala! We got back after an 11 day vacation and we could tell she was well cared for by Brittany. We appreciated the daily photos and updates we received every morning. Would definitely rebook Brittany for our vacation next year. I feel confident leaving our beloved pup in her hands. So much better for our pet than a cage in a Vet kennel boarding.

As someone who is very nervous leaving my dog- they did such an amazing job at keeping me updated and making sure I knew that Zara was being loved and comfortable in their home! Their kids were very loving and playful with her as well! I could tell zara was just as comfortable and loved as she is at home! 10/10 recommend if you want to be updated, and have your pup loved while you are away!🤍🤍

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
