About: Ive taken care of pets since I was 7. My first pet was a salamander named "Ziggy." My next pet was a cat named "Jenny" who lived until she was 22-years old! Currently I have a blue heeler named "Sugar" who I absolutely Love! Sugar likes treats and needs as much exercise as possible. I throw the ball for her and I take her on a walk every day around 8:00 PM when it cools down. I talk to pets. My voice seems to soothe them if they are nervous about a new person visiting. More importantly, I make sure your pets are safe before I leave. I know what it is like to leave your Fur babies and want to ensure you can relax knowing they are in good hands.
“Our Chloe girl had the best time at Brittany's while we were away! Brittany was amazing at giving us daily updates as well as reaching out if there were any possible issues or concerns. We could tell that Chloe was taken care of very well and was very attentive to her needs, taking her for walks, paying attention to her eating habits, and so much more. We will definitely reach out to Brittany in the future when we are in need of someone to watch Chloe again.”

“Wendy is simply the best! She and her family watched our little Charlie for 6 days while we were away for the holidays and it couldn’t have been a more pleasant, stress-free experience. Wendy gave me daily updates on how our pup was doing- and even sent me pictures -which I really appreciated! We don’t have any family in the area so it’s been hard to find someone we feel comfortable asking to watch our Charlie, until we met Wendy. She is as kind and professional as they come, and we’ll definitely be re-booking with her in the future!”

“Chandra kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Minnie was happy and well taken care of. We will definitely use her again.”

“We had such a great experience leaving our dog with Becca! He got so much love and attention that he didn't even miss us. She sent us a picture every day of naps or walks to the park! She put our minds at ease so that we could more fully enjoy our time away. We will definitely book with her again! THANK YOU!!”

“Casondra is amazing! I was completely at ease leaving my two dogs with her and her family. She is very attentive and very patient with a nervous dog parent. I received lots of photos and great communication. I would absolutely love to book with her again”

“Dutch is generally a very anxious dog. She is typically shy with strangers and slow to warm up with them. I could not believe that the second we got to Cambree's home that Dutch just took off. She loved her stay and I never felt so sure that my pup was secure while I was away. Thank you so much for taking such great care of her!”

“AWESOME!!! That is how everything went with Lindsey and family! Our Meet & Greet was so warm and friendly - it felt like we were visiting with old friends! Buddy even rushed to their doorstep and instantly took to everyone. Pictures and updates came daily, which reassured me that Buddy was being well taken care of. I would recommend Lindsey in a heartbeat and will definitely have her care for Buddy again!”

“Emily did wonderfully with our anxious girl! She sent lots of uspdates and photos, and when our pup got an upset tummy from separation anxiety she gave her some pumpkin for her tummy. I would absolutely trust Emily to watch my dog again! You can tell she's very experienced and wonderful with dogs!”

“Definitely a 5 Stars! Sends us multiple updates, videos and photos of our pup while we are away. The best sitter we could have ever asked for our little bundle of love and energy.”

“Mandy Maria is an excellent dog sitter. She gave me plenty of pictures of how my dog was doing and gave my dog several trips hiking in the mountains. It is clear she loves dogs and is quick to make your dog part of her family. I was very pleased with the whole experience.”

“Ashlyn was so amazing! My dog is sensitive to other dogs and requires a lot of supervision but she made me feel so comfortable about leaving town. I got so many pictures, updates, and kind words about Joe. I’ll be booking with her for any dog watching needs.”

“Rebecca was great! Rebecca was available as a last minute request during the holidays which was incredibly lucky on our end. She provided multiple pictures during my dog’s stay and was good with communication. Will use her services again!”

“Our first experience with Rover was excellent when we left our dog Bogie with Michael for a last minute trip. Michael's own dog Ricky is so sweet and well-loved, I was immediately put at ease with the decision. Michael's home is clean and comfortable with a large fully fenced yard for the dogs to play. He kept me updated on how Bogie was doing and sent pictures during the stay. I would highly recommend Michael and will be booking with him again soon!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
