About: I’ve had dogs my whole life from older dogs that need for care to tiny puppies you can’t take your eyes off. I love dogs and I am very comfortable around them no matter breed, size, or age. looking for some fun this summer I love cats and dogs but unfortunately don't have any of my own I would love the chance to take care of your pet and enjoy being around them My house is a very loving environment for pets with all pet safe plants and doggy blankets as well as beds with more toys than they can dream of
“Elva was very responsive. She texts frequent updates on my fur babies. She shows up on time and ensures all of my animals have all of their needs and wants met. She made sure everyone was happy and safe. She answered any questions I had promptly. She shows true love and care for animals.”

“Brandi was amazing to work with. She communicated with me from the very beginning, asked thoughtful questions at our meet and greet, and provided my dog with great care. I never worried while I was away from home. This was my first time using Rover. If it's as easy as Brandi makes it, I'll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Taylor kept us well informed & went above & beyond what we asked to both give the cats some much-deserved enrichment as well as keep them fed on their usual schedule. Would recommend Taylor to watch amy of your pets for long or short durations.”

About: I have grown up my whole life around dogs and have a dog of my own now. I have experience with dogs of all different ages and sizes and look forward to meeting your pup! I have a very flexible/changing schedule and am willing to work with whatever you and your pet need! I do some videography work, so the schedule isn’t the same everyday, but I can be very flexible. I will be sure to follow whatever instructions are best for your pup. Coming to your home for drop in visits or taking them out of the house for walks! I am comfortable crating your dog if that’s what you prefer!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Friends and family regularly trust me to walk, feed, and look after their pets. I’m comfortable with energetic puppies, senior dogs, and those with special routines or needs. I focus on keeping pets safe and happy, while always treating them like my own. I’m also attentive to instructions, punctual, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, check ins, and playtime. I am happy to adjust my routine to help accommodate for your pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs. I create a calm and loving environment. I’m attentive on walks, mindful of surroundings, and make sure pets are secure at all times.
“Ashley really did a great job with my pups. From the first meet and greet to the days she stopped in. She kept in touch with me and send me pictures. She is very professional and loving. I will be using her in the future and highly recommend!!”

“Katlyn was wonderful with our pups. She took great care of them. Her communication and pictures of our babies were so appreciated. We will definitely have Katlyn take care of them again in the future.”

“Emma was great with the dogs, despite one of our dog's tendency to continually bark at new people. She communicated well with us while we were away! It was much easier to relax knowing they were well taken care of!”

About: Hi, my name is Cindy and I have always been an animal lover and have had animals in my life. I have bread and raised Shih Tzu's, )36) total. I worked on my grandparents farm when I was younger. I am a retired Montessori teacher, therefore I am very passionate about nature, children, and animals in general. I am single and have a perfect home, environment, and time-for your loved furry one😊 I am retired and am able to spend lots of quality time with your pet or pets. Also, I have a nearby park that I walk to often. I have a fenced in yard and two lovable small dogs of my own that get along great with other dogs. And for extra activity, I have a park that is next to me with a large grass area.

About: As a teacher, I’m used to being responsible, patient, and attentive to the needs of others every day. I bring that same care and consistency to every pet I look after. I’m dependable, detail oriented, and will treat your pets like they’re part of my own family. I also have my own large, overprotective dog with a big personality, so I understand how important it is to find someone who truly takes the time to understand a pet’s individual needs. I know firsthand that some dogs can be misunderstood and that finding the right person who respects their boundaries, routines, and quirks makes all the difference. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or simply needs a little extra patience, I’ll take the time to build trust and make sure they feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m a teacher, so I have great availability on weekends and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening drop-ins on weekdays. I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits both your pet’s needs and your routine. I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable when they can stay in their own familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping their schedule as consistent as possible, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, walks, litter box care, and plenty of attention and affection based on their individual personality. I understand that every pet is different, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and boundaries. Some pets love lots of interaction, while others need a little more patience and space to warm up. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, while also providing you with updates and peace of mind.

About: You probably see it a lot on this app but ever since I was little I've had a huge love of animals. Size, age I've seen and taken care of it all. And no matter of waste scares me. All can be clean up. I just want to put my love of long walks to good use. I've even gotten my basset hound to love a hike. Currently in between jobs so fully available during the day and weekends. You just let me know the best time for your pups/other animals. I have experience with house sitting and have been taking care of at least one pet for over 20 years. I always want to make sure that the care provided is the best for each individual animal. Every animal is different but that's what makes them special.
About: I see every pet as a member of the family that needs attention, love, and compassion just like the rest of us! I’ve been a dog owner, lover, and enthusiast for many years. I was raised with a Chocolate Lab, a Shih Tzu, and raised and trained a Bluetick Coonhound. I now have a mini goldendoodle named Franklin that I adore! He is very loving, trained, and loves every dog, animal, insect, and human he meets. I am home full time, so there will be tons of attention and potty breaks to go around. I may have the occasional errand to run, or other stuff to do for a few hours, but that’s not too common since I’m quite the introvert most days. I am more than happy to accommodate to your care preferences, just let me know if your pet needs any extra attention and I’d be happy to help. (:
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was younger, I have experience with dogs, cats, fish, horses, and even livestock! I have experience feeding, giving water, brushing horses, and more! I have a cat and a parrot of my own, so taking care of animals is in my daily routine. Making sure they are fed, have water, and are cleaned up after and most importantly happy! Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to have your pets at my home, but I think having them in their own home keeps them happy and content. For potty time, I would go with dogs outside for safety and to keep a close eye on them.
About: I'm highly compassionate and deeply connected to animals. I'm a lifelong dog owner. I'll never pass up the opportunity to connect with animals -- whether it be a horse on the side of the road, or a friend's pet. Friends and family have entrusted me with their pets for years, knowing that I provide love and care. I'm also active and fit and can ensure your animals are receiving adequate exercise. I am well-traveled. A good communicator. Honest. Reliable. I have experience with dogs of all ages. I can also comfortably administer insulin (our family dog who lives with my mom is diabetic). ** Please note I don't have any references on here. However, I can be vetted through my website, TED talk, LinkedIN, and many more! I'm more than happy to hop on a call or video chat if you'd like to feel out my energy. I work remotely and live alone. I'd love to get a dog of my own, but the timing isn't right for me as I travel a good bit. I love having animals in my home, and have ample time and attention to spend on your furry family member while here. I do not have any pets currently (my family dog lives with my mom in Florida), so your pup will have full attention. I have a back yard with grass but I live in a condo, so I do not have a fence; walks will be leashed.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Huntsville with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
