About: I grew up with my mom finding strays to care for and finding them homes. I've always wanted my own. I've had my dog for 4 years and adopted my kitten a few months ago! I am mostly free on weekdays and most weekends so any day works for me to give your pets my undivided attention and my best care. I will be able to drop in and hang out with your pets as long, or as many times as needed to make them and yourself more comfortable!
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life from older dogs that need for care to tiny puppies you can’t take your eyes off. I love dogs and I am very comfortable around them no matter breed, size, or age. looking for some fun this summer I love cats and dogs but unfortunately don't have any of my own I would love the chance to take care of your pet and enjoy being around them My house is a very loving environment for pets with all pet safe plants and doggy blankets as well as beds with more toys than they can dream of
“Matthew did a good job with my cattle dog and Aussie. They can be a bit much for some people but he worked with them well. I hired him for 3 visits a day for 4 days. He kept in good communication.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Friends and family regularly trust me to walk, feed, and look after their pets. I’m comfortable with energetic puppies, senior dogs, and those with special routines or needs. I focus on keeping pets safe and happy, while always treating them like my own. I’m also attentive to instructions, punctual, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, check ins, and playtime. I am happy to adjust my routine to help accommodate for your pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs. I create a calm and loving environment. I’m attentive on walks, mindful of surroundings, and make sure pets are secure at all times.
About: I have taken care of animals all my life, whether they are mine or my neighbors. I will guarantee the best possible care for your pet. I do this full time! I am free every day of the week unless something comes up. But I usually have a pretty free schedule, well besides pet sitting of course. Since I like to take care of people's animals in their homes I try to listen to all instructions and preferences. My style is pretty versatile whatever and however you need me to take care of your animals I will do it. But for example, I have dogs myself so I take care of them by taking care of their basic needs like food and water and beyond that it is mainly lots of belly rubs and stepping in when I am needed, but I believe your animal should be able to be themselves in their own home.
About: I grow up my whole life with dogs. My babysitter was 2 beautiful Doberman growing up. I know dogs can be different same as all of us people, but with the right care and treatment they can let you lead and show their love, respect, and be your best friend. I had many different dogs since they were puppies until it was time for them to go to heaven. And all of them I remember with so much love and gratitude. They’re the best creatures in this planet. And I will be more than pleased if you let me watch your pets because I know how important they are and they need the attention and love even in those situations that we won’t be home so if you’re going on vacation, small trip, etc. I will make sure your dog is being taking care, feed, had enough walks, and be comfortable being here at home ready for bed, and if they have any special care as medicine or something like that I’m more than happy to have them on track until you can come back from vacation. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns in case this small summary didn’t respond any of your questions. I’m working with a very flexible schedule. I can make anything to work around your dog needs or special care. Any drop of around 4-5PM any day of the week. Thank you. I do have currently 1 friendly golden doodle. She’s a girl and love to play and make friends. She love kids and other dogs as well. She will keep your fur babies happy and busy playing and taking naps together.
About: Whether you have an energetic dog who loves long walks and playtime or an independent cat who prefers a clean litter box and a familiar routine, I’m here to provide the care and attention your pets deserve. While I didn’t grow up with a dog because of family allergies, I’ve spent the last 5+ years helping care for my brother’s dog and my fiancée’s family’s dog whenever they travel. I’ve also been caring for cats since I was 8 years old, feeding family friends’ cats and cleaning litter boxes while they were away. Over the past 5 years, I’ve regularly cared for my fiancée’s family’s three cats as well. I understand that every pet has a unique personality. Some dogs want to run, play fetch, and burn off energy. Others just want a walk and some scratches behind the ears. Some cats love attention, while others simply appreciate fresh food, a clean litter box, and someone checking in on them. Whatever makes your pet happy, I’m happy to accommodate. Services Offered: • Dog walks • Dog and cat drop-in visits • Feeding and fresh water • Potty breaks • Litter box cleaning • Playtime and enrichment • Treats (if approved) • Photo and update messages during visits • Lots of patience, attention, and affection My goal is simple: make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Please Note: I currently do not offer boarding or overnight stays in my home, as I have a dog of my own who prefers having his own space. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pets! 🐶🐱❤️ Available most days, including weekends! I work remotely on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, which gives me flexibility for daytime walks and drop-in visits. Tuesdays and Thursdays are more limited, but feel free to ask about availability. I’m happy to accommodate recurring or one-time visits whenever possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make every effort to maintain their normal routine, as I know many pets are happiest when things feel familiar. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, treats, and any household rules. For dogs, I pay close attention during walks, keep them securely leashed unless otherwise instructed in a safe enclosed area, and make sure they have plenty of water and exercise appropriate for their age and energy level. For cats, I ensure litter boxes are kept clean, food and water are refreshed, and they receive as much attention—or space—as they prefer. I understand that every pet has a different personality. Some love to play and be active, while others prefer a calm companion. I take the time to learn what makes each pet comfortable and adjust my care accordingly. I also provide updates and photos during visits so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. My goal is to treat every pet and home with the same respect and care that I would want for my own!
About: I have had and loved dogs since I was learning how to walk with my best friend Buster! I’m familiar with all things dog and cat care related, from puppy/kitten to senior. No additional skills to highlight, just common sense, critical thinking, and a whole lot of love for animals. I’m available all days of the week to care for your animals! I’m currently looking for an additional part-time job on top of Rover, but for the time being my availability is open! I am able to care for your pets however you would like! I'm available for house sitting, drop bys, and walks. I am just short of 5ft tall, so I may have trouble walking bigger dogs, but we can discuss if that comes up!
“Katlyn did an amazing job watching my 2 cats for a long period. She spent lots of time playing with them and giving them love. Everything was clean and tidy and communication was great.”

About: I have grown up my whole life around dogs and have a dog of my own now. I have experience with dogs of all different ages and sizes and look forward to meeting your pup! I have a very flexible/changing schedule and am willing to work with whatever you and your pet need! I do some videography work, so the schedule isn’t the same everyday, but I can be very flexible. I will be sure to follow whatever instructions are best for your pup. Coming to your home for drop in visits or taking them out of the house for walks! I am comfortable crating your dog if that’s what you prefer!
“Emma was great with the dogs, despite one of our dog's tendency to continually bark at new people. She communicated well with us while we were away! It was much easier to relax knowing they were well taken care of!”

About: Hi, my name is Cindy and I have always been an animal lover and have had animals in my life. I have bread and raised Shih Tzu's, )36) total. I worked on my grandparents farm when I was younger. I am a retired Montessori teacher, therefore I am very passionate about nature, children, and animals in general. I am single and have a perfect home, environment, and time-for your loved furry one😊 I am retired and am able to spend lots of quality time with your pet or pets. Also, I have a nearby park that I walk to often. I have a fenced in yard and two lovable small dogs of my own that get along great with other dogs. And for extra activity, I have a park that is next to me with a large grass area.
About: I see every pet as a member of the family that needs attention, love, and compassion just like the rest of us! I’ve been a dog owner, lover, and enthusiast for many years. I was raised with a Chocolate Lab, a Shih Tzu, and raised and trained a Bluetick Coonhound. I now have a mini goldendoodle named Franklin that I adore! He is very loving, trained, and loves every dog, animal, insect, and human he meets. I am home full time, so there will be tons of attention and potty breaks to go around. I may have the occasional errand to run, or other stuff to do for a few hours, but that’s not too common since I’m quite the introvert most days. I am more than happy to accommodate to your care preferences, just let me know if your pet needs any extra attention and I’d be happy to help. (:
About: I’ve fostered 5 different dogs from the Humane Society of Utah (3 wks - 2 mo each). I was responsible for feeding, exercising, administering meds, and providing water for the dogs. I volunteered for Second Chance for Homeless Pets, where I cleaned kennels, fed animals, completed simple cleaning tasks, & bathed a dog. I cometed 4 semesters of the vet tech program at Broadview University, where I learned about proper veterinary care, including administering meds, making general health assessments, walking dogs, cleaning kennels/clinic/classrooms, etc. During this time, I completed a preceptorship at Sugarhouse Veterinary Hospital, where I was able to sit in on a surgery. I worked as a vet tech at Banfield Pet Hospital for 3 months. I also worked at The City Pet Club Dog Daycare & Boarding facility and I’ve been dog sitting for the past 6 years. I have my own all natural dog treats and dog shampoo and a defurminator deshedding brush tool. I currently work from home and am very flexible and mobile for the purpose of taking care of your fur babies. I love all animals and would be privileged to watch yours. Water, food, treats, baths, walks, hiking, runs, dog park visits, dog pool visits, ball/toys, able to administer meds and address wounds, etc. I am a very good dog masseuse. Haha
“Ashley really did a great job with my pups. From the first meet and greet to the days she stopped in. She kept in touch with me and send me pictures. She is very professional and loving. I will be using her in the future and highly recommend!!”

About: I currently am I cat, ferret, crested gecko and fish Mom. Animals mean everything to me, and I would absolutely love to take care of yours. I promise to love and care for them as my own. I grew up with all sorts of animals, my mother has worked at a pet store for 20 years or so. I also have experience with administering medication to pets. I used to have a diabetic cat I had to give insulin injections to, so if your pet needs special medications, I am able! I work three 12 hour shifts a week, so I am always available the other four days of the week! My four other days I wouldn't rather be doing anything else than spending time with your fur baby! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Huntsville with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
