“Kianna was great! She did drop in visits for us over Labor Day weekend and made sure our pups were taken care of while we were gone. Thanks for the pictures and updates daily :)”

“Kaylee took such great care of our kitty while we were away on vacation. She always provided great checkups with lots of sweet photos when she checked in on our little guy. If you are looking for someone that loves your kitty, Kaylee is amazing! Thank you so much!!”

“Elva was very responsive. She texts frequent updates on my fur babies. She shows up on time and ensures all of my animals have all of their needs and wants met. She made sure everyone was happy and safe. She answered any questions I had promptly. She shows true love and care for animals.”

“Ariah did a great job ❤️ & followed my instructions to my preference for my lab!, I was worried mainly about him getting his medication but she kept me at ease during my time away! I will definitely use her again 😁. THANK YOU AGAIN!”

About: I have experience taking care of all kinds of animals. This includes dogs, cats, bunnies, etc. I can also administer medications by mouth if needed! I have a very open schedule right now and a lot of availability. This means I can easily stay overnight if it’s something the client prefers! I have multiple pets myself that I care for including livestock. They always come before myself. I am comfortable setting boundaries with animals as well as following any rules/instructions the client has.
“Brianna and her sister Jenn were great! I immediately felt I could trust them the minute I met them. They were always great about checking in and out on visits, provided plenty of photos showing how comfortable my cats were with them there, followed instructions well, and provided helpful feedback. Our two cats are very special to us so it was comforting to know they were in good hands. I would definitely recommend them and would rebook in the future when needed. Thanks ladies!”

“After my sister moved away, we were pretty stressed about who would watch our cat when we went out of town. Especially because she has a lot of health problems and medication needs. Hayley was able to administer her meds no problem and sent us detailed updates and photos that helped ease our mind while on vacation. We will definitely be using her again! She was quick to respond, professional, and it’s obvious she has a lot of experience.”

“Kerry was great with Simba and Mom! He was caring and conscientious about all aspects of their care. He kept me informed through photos and text messages after every visit.”

About: My pet of 14 years recently passed away. In the meantime, while I’m not ready to adopt another pet yet, I would love to create a loving, calm, and trustworthy environment for pets who need care, attention, and affection while their humans are away. I treat every animal as if they were my own and understand how important it is to feel at ease leaving your pet with someone you trust. “Super last minute back out from my neighbor and Laura was awesome! My girl looked so happy in all of the pics, got walked and taken to the park. Got back to me fast and was super communicative about everything. Definitely plan on having her come check in on my girl for the next work trip away”

“Caitie is great! She did an excellent job taking care of our cats. One of our cats is very skittish and hides the whole time anyone new is around. She was out of hiding and playing with Caitie by day two, which is completely unheard of. Caitie kept our place very clean and was excellent at communicating with us. 10/10 highly recommend”

“Ilina did a great job with my babies. One of them is timid, but she became good friend with her! She has great communication and respectful. I am glad to find her and will recommend her to anyone who needs help.”

Amazing and responsive sitter, truly above and beyond. My dog had an emergency (stressed induced diarrhea) and Emma was able to bring him to the vet and take care of him while I was gone, she cleaned up after him and kept me updated the whole time. I’ve never had such a compassionate and quick to respond sitter before, you are truly getting an absolute saint if you book her! Thank you so much Emma
Ashley and Michael were absolutely amazing with our dogs. Our living situation isn’t ideal for dog sitting, but they picked up and made it seem like no issue at all. Will definitely be using them again. They took plenty of pictures and allowed our dogs plenty of exercise while we were gone.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Sunset with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
