Im home full time when the kids are out of school (weekends, holidays, summers, and Fridays). Besides those times, I will start working as a gym teacher part time starting in August, and will be unavailable 10-4 M-Th.

Safety is my top priority. Your dog will be on a leash while outside of the fence and house. I make sure dogs are inside at night and while I am away and in their crate or wherever your pet is the safest and most comfortable. I also keep dogs safe by monitoring meals and playtime, especially when multiple animals are present.

I would love to know how well your dog tolerates children, if they’re potty trained, crate trained, their feeding schedule, and how they do with other dogs. I would also like to know any behaviors that would help keep your dog and mine safe (resource guarding, door busting, escape tendencies, etc…)
A typical day
I love to take dogs for walks to stretch their legs and take in all the smells of the neighborhood. I also enjoy playing tug, fetch, chase….any activity really your pet finds enjoyable!

I live in a quiet cul de sac with a large fenced yard. I have one cat that is outdoors most of the day and keeps to herself while she’s inside, as well as a friendly lab who is neutral with other friendly dogs. I have owned dogs off and on for the past 15+ years, and have learned even more in the last few years I’ve provided care for Rover dogs about animal behavior, training, and safety. I am confident I can provide care that is safe, comfortable, and fun for your dog. I’d love to get to know you and your fur babies to see if I’m the right fit for your family.

Highly recommend Kiersten. I have a s special needs dog who can be difficult to deal with. Kiersten was very patient, kind and caring to my naughty girl. She took the time to make sure Ella got her food and medicine. I appreciate her so much! If you want someone who is kind and caring to watch you fur babies, Kiersten is your girl!
