About: Hello, my name is Alexis R. and I've been around animals my entire life! I was raised in a small valley on a farm where the animals I would care for ranged from baby goats to outdoor cats to fostering rescue dogs. Growing up meant being around animals 24/7, and we all had responsibilities as kids to take part in caring for them and making sure they had the highest quality of life. My highest level of experience comes from taking care of all the rescue dogs we had come through our home. We valued every life and I know what its like to take care of all kinds of dog breeds and whatever ailments they may or may not have. On that note, I was a dog-sitter, dog-walker, and even farm-keeper for a few years in my home town as a young 15 year old, so I have experience stepping out of my own home and caring for other people's fur-babies. In short, I know my way around all that fluff-and-stuff and would love to continue this around my new home in Portland!

I am very grateful and thankful for animals and their touch on my life. I am able to care for dogs in my home and the owners home. I specialized in senior dog care and with senior dogs we just like to be more on the chill side of life but make sure we are still healthy. I have a partially fenced yard where they can go play and we can go on walks in a very good neighborhood. I would have the dog sleep with me on the bed unless they would say otherwise. We can play and have treats, go to the local dog park. There is so amount of fun things that we can’t do. I will always make sure I take care of the pets in or out of my home. If I need to care for the pets out of my home I will do whatever is tasked of me to make sure I am respectful of the owners wishes and care for their pet in their area. I will always do what’s asked of me and I will make sure they have the time of their lives.

About: I will provide alot of affection and give them my full attention. I provide great walks and can get them good exercise. I know how to take care of puppies and I am not afraid of big dogs. Being a pet parent of 3 dogs myself, I know how to take care of dogs in a group and respond to all of their individual needs. About: Ever since I was little, I've had a HUGE love for all animals, big or small. I have dogs of my own, and I've also been responsible for caring for dogs and other animals of my friends, neighbors, and other family members. I worked in professional pet care for a year as well! I work only 5 minutes from home and can be flexible with that, so I have plenty of time for your precious fur babies!! About: I don't recall a time there weren't pets in my family's house, growing up. From guinea pigs to snakes and lizards, I've become passionate about learning all I could about the care and feeding of our pets. My family currently has two bratty indoor cats, Daisy and Momo, whom we love dearly. I was raised around dogs. Most of my pet sitting has been for small and medium sized dogs. If you need me to take your doggo on a walk, I'm open to either a nice long hike or a leisurely stroll through the park. I am aware of how to prevent the risk of bloating if that is a concern. I have been the owner of very happy guinea pigs (including a Skinny Pig), and a bunny (free roam) over the years. I have experience with small homestead animals, like chickens, quail, and ducks. My family has owned lots of fish, including freshwater and saltwater aquariums. I can't wait to work with you and meet your pal! Being self-employed, I have the flexibility needed to give your pal the attention they need. I also like to stay active, so plenty walks and play won't be an issue with higher energy dogs. My schedule is flexible and easy to work around. Working from home has allowed me to easily spend time with the pets in my life.

About: I have had big and small dogs in my home the past 18years I have been alive and my whole family and me are very big dog lovers!
