About: I've taken care of lots of different types of animals including fish, birds, goats, horses, hamsters, dogs and cats; my mom has a small hobby farm that I help out with frequently and it has given me great experience with animals and being able to connect and form relationships with them. I have a senior cat and dog in my household, so I have experience with accommodating to older pets needs. Along with senior pets, I have raised a newborn kitten and young puppies. Not only do I have experience with many pets, but I genuinely take a personal joy in taking care of and spending time with them too. I currently work part-time at Walmart on a rotating schedule that shifts every three weeks, which actually gives me awesome flexibility! Because my hours change up, I often have some great daytime availability during the week when your pets might need a midday break. When I’m not working or pet sitting, I also run a small commissioned baking business from home. I'm incredibly organized, a pro at following precise "recipes" for specific pet care routines, and will always treat your home with total respect. Just let me know what your furry friend needs, and we can easily coordinate with my schedule to make it work! The safety of your pet(s) is my top priority. I always double check any doors and/or locks, along with leashes being attached correctly. Even if you have a fence, I will provide supervised yard/play time. I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it as clean or cleaner than it was left. I can send photo updates as frequently as requested, and I am easy to contact with little to no time between responses.

About: As a teacher, I’m used to being responsible, patient, and attentive to the needs of others every day. I bring that same care and consistency to every pet I look after. I’m dependable, detail oriented, and will treat your pets like they’re part of my own family. I also have my own large, overprotective dog with a big personality, so I understand how important it is to find someone who truly takes the time to understand a pet’s individual needs. I’m a teacher, so I have great availability on weekends and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening drop-ins on weekdays. I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable when they can stay in their own familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping their schedule as consistent as possible, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, walks, litter box care, and plenty of attention and affection based on their individual personality. I understand that every pet is different, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and boundaries. Some pets love lots of interaction, while others need a little more patience and space to warm up. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, while also providing you with updates and peace of mind.

About: I’ve been an animal lover since I could walk and have owned and cared for a wide variety of animals my whole life. I was that kid who brought home sick and injured animals and nursed them back to help and my love for them has only grown as an adult. I’d love the opportunity to love your pets as much as you do! I’m currently a stay at home mom to three daughters so my schedule is pretty open and I can make most times and days work, I’d be happy to work with your schedule! I currently own a dog, tortoise, hamster, snake and fish and work hard to meet their needs in every way while also teaching my daughters the importance of care and respect for pets. I’m the go to for a lot of my friends and family when it comes to pet care and have been hired to care for dogs, cats, birds, snakes and rabbits.

My family currently includes three dogs, one car, and a lop rabbit. We have a large yard and hiking trails nearby, so I know where to take your dogs for frequent walks and even hikes.

About: I am the youngest of 3 and growing up, we always had dogs in the family. I the youngest usually would have the duties to clean up after the dogs and make sure they have food and water with potty breaks. I am diligent and responsible for any tasks need to be done. I am new to Rover but I am excited to help take care of your pets! I consistently take care of my own dogs; Franky (A Golden Retriever) and Ringo (A Shitzu). I’m currently a graduate student at the University of Utah, and I have a flexible schedule that lets me be home full-time with your pet. I live on a farm with two large, fenced-in pastures where dogs can safely run around, play, and get plenty of exercise. The paddocks are completely separate from the farm animals, so your dog will have their own safe space to explore. I’ve raised all kinds of animals over the years, so I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I also love being outside; whether that’s hiking, going for a run, or just spending time outdoors. If your dog enjoys getting out and being active, I’d love to bring them along. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so my goal is to make them feel as comfortable and loved as they would at home. I’ll treat them like they’re one of my own and make sure they get lots of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. I’m currently a graduate student at the University of Utah, and I have a flexible schedule that lets me be home full-time with your pet at the moment. I try to keep every pet’s routine as close to home as possible. I’ll follow your feeding schedule, medication instructions, exercise routine, and any other preferences you have so your pet feels comfortable and settled. In my home, dogs will have plenty of supervised time outside in our fenced paddocks, along with lots of attention, playtime, and opportunities to relax inside. I never leave dogs unattended outside, and I always make sure they have fresh water, a safe environment, and plenty of love.

About: Ive taken care of pets since I was 7. My first pet was a salamander named "Ziggy." My next pet was a cat named "Jenny" who lived until she was 22-years old! Currently I have a blue heeler named "Sugar" who I absolutely Love! Sugar likes treats and needs as much exercise as possible. I throw the ball for her and I take her on a walk every day around 8:00 PM when it cools down. I talk to pets. My voice seems to soothe them if they are nervous about a new person visiting. About: I’ve fostered 5 different dogs from the Humane Society of Utah (3 wks - 2 mo each). I was responsible for feeding, exercising, administering meds, and providing water for the dogs. I volunteered for Second Chance for Homeless Pets, where I cleaned kennels, fed animals, completed simple cleaning tasks, & bathed a dog. I cometed 4 semesters of the vet tech program at Broadview University, where I learned about proper veterinary care, including administering meds, making general health assessments, walking dogs, cleaning kennels/clinic/classrooms, etc. During this time, I completed a preceptorship at Sugarhouse Veterinary Hospital, where I was able to sit in on a surgery. I worked as a vet tech at Banfield Pet Hospital for 3 months. I also worked at The City Pet Club Dog Daycare & Boarding facility and I’ve been dog sitting for the past 6 years. I have my own all natural dog treats and dog shampoo and a defurminator deshedding brush tool. I currently work from home and am very flexible and mobile for the purpose of taking care of your fur babies. I love all animals and would be privileged to watch yours. Water, food, treats, baths, walks, hiking, runs, dog park visits, dog pool visits, ball/toys, able to administer meds and address wounds, etc. I am a very good dog masseuse. Haha

About: We have 2 greater swiss mountain dogs Porter and Rev. They are great Boys and love having friends of all sizes to play with! They are excellent with new dogs and love to play and run around. We have been watching pups through rover/dogvacay for over 5 years, with many years experience around dogs before becoming part of the Rover community. We have a fully fenced backyard where all can run and have a great time. I am a stay at home mom so I am able to have pups inside with me most of the time. I have 2 younger kids. We have a big yard with lots of room to run and play! We love to have both daycare and overnight guests. Crate training is preferred, and for now we cannot host any unspayed females. We would love to have your friend over join us for a great time!

About: I currently am I cat, ferret, crested gecko and fish Mom. Animals mean everything to me, and I would absolutely love to take care of yours. I promise to love and care for them as my own. I grew up with all sorts of animals, my mother has worked at a pet store for 20 years or so. I also have experience with administering medication to pets. I used to have a diabetic cat I had to give insulin injections to, so if your pet needs special medications, I am able! I work three 12 hour shifts a week, so I am always available the other four days of the week! My four other days I wouldn't rather be doing anything else than spending time with your fur baby! About: Ever since I was little, I've had a HUGE love for all animals, big or small. I have dogs of my own, and I've also been responsible for caring for dogs and other animals of my friends, neighbors, and other family members. I worked in professional pet care for a year as well! I work only 5 minutes from home and can be flexible with that, so I have plenty of time for your precious fur babies!!
