“Oh my goodness I couldn’t leave a happier review! Nemesis was absolutely amazing with our puppy Dune!! We received lots of updates throughout the stay along with pictures and videos. Her dogs also loved to play with Dune which he enjoyed! She took him on adventures and gave him lots of love, we would definitely use her again in the future!!”

“Kristen was an amazing sitter for our Cooper. She gave the best care we could hope for while we were apart from our fur baby. Her kids were very kind and sweet with Cooper as well. Kristen was always quick to respond and sent us picture updates everyday. We will definitely be using her again in the future. Thank you!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs around since I was a very little girl, I’ve experienced having small dogs, Medium-sized, and Large Dogs. My Mom bred Maltese so I got to constantly play with many adorable puppies and help bathe them too. My husband, has had about 8 years of experience with animals. He helped me with raising 10 puppies, a litter from our own dog Tyndale. Our whole family absolutely loves dogs! We’d love to meet and play with your puppy too! I am currently working from home, taking care of my family and pets, so I have plenty of time to take care of and play with your puppy. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog named Tyndale, she loves to play and would be happy to help keep your Doggie company.
About: Hey I’m Jen! I love all animals and I know how important it is to find someone who cares when you need help! I have had animals my whole life and grew up in the country with horses, goats, dogs, cats, rabbits and ducks! I previously worked as a veterinary technician and have been running this business since 2021. I currently have 6 fur children, 2 horses and 4 working dogs. Helping animals is a passion of mine. So when I see a wandering, lost critter, you better believe I’m picking them up and getting them home! I am a working mom of two ages 14 & 12 who both love animals and help out a lot. When you board with me your fur babies are always taken care of. They can run in the huge backyard, swim in the dog pool, lay in the shade, play with the toys and go on walks during the day, then have their own private space at night to sleep. I am currently working a 48/96 rotating schedule so I have a lot of availability in between those days. I will always do all that I can to fit your pet care needs into my schedule. I have a fully fenced large backyard, private kennel space for each dog for sleeping, eating and rotation with those that are in heat, intact or don’t get along with others. In your home, I will always go above and beyond to meet your wishes and keep things as close to normal operations for your pet as possible to avoid disruption to their lives.

“Chris, and her family, were amazing with Harley. He was so well taken care of and loved in their home. I have already booked Harley's next stay. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.”

“Emily did wonderfully with our anxious girl! She sent lots of uspdates and photos, and when our pup got an upset tummy from separation anxiety she gave her some pumpkin for her tummy. I would absolutely trust Emily to watch my dog again! You can tell she's very experienced and wonderful with dogs!”

“Awesome sitter, Ollie always comes back happy and healthy! They’re great at taking pictures and ensuring you’re not nervous about your dogs while they’re away.”

About: I am an Animal and Veterinary Science teacher at a high school with lots of personal and professional experience caring for all types of animals! I am knowledgeable and passionate about proper pet care for ALL furry (or scaly) friends. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, small mammals (rabbits, rats, hamsters, etc.), birds, and reptiles, but I am educated on caring for pets beyond that as well. As a teacher, I am off work for the summer and spend most days at home with my own fur babies, which makes my schedule very available--especially on weekdays! Of course, I have a few trips of my own planned over a couple weekends, but most weekends are available as well. If I come to you, I will diligently follow any instructions given no matter how silly! (I know our pets can be particular sometimes)! If your pet comes into our home, I have 2 very friendly pets: an orange cat, Tabasco, and doggo, Quinn (in my profile pic), that would love to keep yours company. (Unless your pet is one that lives in a cage/enclosure/tank, in that case, we can keep them safely in another bedroom separated). I have a small, fenced backyard for going potty, but I also live basically on a park if your pup likes to play fetch, I can guarantee to take a few park visits if your pet would like that! When I am not home, I crate Quinn, and would prefer if your pet was crate trained as well. I have space to put them in the same or different room as Quinn depending on your preferences. Rest assured that they would never be left in the crate for long while they are in my care, though! I am happy to abide by any instructions or preferences given regarding your pet's care in my home. I will strive to make sure your pet is happy and comfortable.
“Rebecca was wonderful to work with! She maintained excellent communication throughout my time away, and the care she showed Archie was truly impressive. I felt completely confident leaving him in her hands and will definitely be a returning client.”

“Jason and Bridget did a wonderful job taking care of our dog! We received daily updates and pictures to keep us informed of how she was doing. They were very flexible and easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a great dog sitter!”

“As someone who is very nervous leaving my dog- they did such an amazing job at keeping me updated and making sure I knew that Zara was being loved and comfortable in their home! Their kids were very loving and playful with her as well! I could tell zara was just as comfortable and loved as she is at home! 10/10 recommend if you want to be updated, and have your pup loved while you are away!🤍🤍”

“10/10 — Highly Recommend! Lauren was absolutely amazing with our boxer! She provided daily photo and video updates, which really put our minds at ease, and she always responded to our messages quickly. Her home was clean, and the backyard was the perfect size for our little one to run and play. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! 🐾”

“Ashley and Michael were very sweet with our dogs, quick to update us, and flexible with our schedule. Our dogs came home tired from playing all weekend long, they had a great time. We've used them twice now and would definitely use them again.”

“Aubrey was such a pleasure to work with. She took such good care of our kitten, she sent pictures, videos and daily updates. I will absolutely use her in the future. Nina”

“Jessica is THE BEST!!! It was the first time we had to board our pup for an event we needed to go to, and we were so nervous to leave him, but Jessica was so assuring and experienced we didn’t need to worry at all. She sent pictures and videos of our pup while we were gone and was proactively texting the whole time. Will definitely look for her to book again!”

“This was Bogie’s second time at Michael’s house and he was so excited to be back. He loves the human attention that he gets and enjoys playtime in their huge backyard. They keep me updated on Bogie with regular photos. I already have another week booked with Michael and am so grateful to have found them.”

“We had such a great experience leaving our dog with Becca! He got so much love and attention that he didn't even miss us. She sent us a picture every day of naps or walks to the park! She put our minds at ease so that we could more fully enjoy our time away. We will definitely book with her again! THANK YOU!!”

Casey was awesome with our puppy. She did a fantastic job of taking care of her and keeping us informed while we were away. I especially loved how she would take our puppy on walks everyday and play with her. Both are our puppy's favorite thjngs to do. Thank you, Casey.

Brittany was so amazing and took such good care of Miya! Miya ended up being a little sick from something she ate at my house prior to me dropping her off. I hadn't realized it at the time, but Brittany informed me of her upset stomach and kept me updated the whole time and took such great care of her! I couldn't be more grateful. She was flexible, organized, and so loving to my dog. She also sent me the best pictures of Miya while I was away. I would definitely recommend her to care for any of your furr babies! ♥️

Sophonie is fantastic. Always takes great care of my dogs, and has even accommodated last minute requests, which I greatly appreciate. Her space is clean and in a nice neighborhood. My dogs always seem happy when I pick them up. Will continue to call her for watching my boys.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
