About: Hey I’m Jen! I love all animals and I know how important it is to find someone who cares when you need help! I have had animals my whole life and grew up in the country with horses, goats, dogs, cats, rabbits and ducks! I previously worked as a veterinary technician and have been running this business since 2021. I currently have 6 fur children, 2 horses and 4 working dogs. Helping animals is a passion of mine. So when I see a wandering, lost critter, you better believe I’m picking them up and getting them home! I am a working mom of two ages 14 & 12 who both love animals and help out a lot. When you board with me your fur babies are always taken care of. They can run in the huge backyard, swim in the dog pool, lay in the shade, play with the toys and go on walks during the day, then have their own private space at night to sleep. I am currently working a 48/96 rotating schedule so I have a lot of availability in between those days. I will always do all that I can to fit your pet care needs into my schedule. I have a fully fenced large backyard, private kennel space for each dog for sleeping, eating and rotation with those that are in heat, intact or don’t get along with others. In your home, I will always go above and beyond to meet your wishes and keep things as close to normal operations for your pet as possible to avoid disruption to their lives.

“Chris and her family are the most loving and caring people. We have absolute total peace of mind when we leave our little pup with her. She’s always incredibly easy to communicate with and sends the sweetest updates. We hope she never stops watching, she’s our person without a doubt. Thank you Chris🩷”

“Nemesis was great! She responded quickly and sent videos of our dogs. They looked happy and well taken care of. And her big backyard was a plus for our high energy dog! She was awesome”

“My high energy/anxiety border doodle absolutely loves her! Danii made sure that she ate every day which was our main concern as she has had problems eating when she’s stressed in the past. She gave her lots of puzzles, sent us videos of her playing in the leaves and even slept with her at night so she wouldn’t be lonely. We couldn’t be happier and will definitely be bringing our dog back!”

“We had such a great experience with Ashley and Michael watching our dog! From the moment we dropped him off, we felt totally at ease. Ashley sent us photo updates throughout the evening, and Copper looked so happy and relaxed! It was clear he was having a wonderful time! We’re so grateful for their care and would absolutely trust them again with our pup!🐶🤍”

“Rebecca was wonderful to work with! She maintained excellent communication throughout my time away, and the care she showed Archie was truly impressive. I felt completely confident leaving him in her hands and will definitely be a returning client.”

“Our first experience with Rover was excellent when we left our dog Bogie with Michael for a last minute trip. Michael's own dog Ricky is so sweet and well-loved, I was immediately put at ease with the decision. Michael's home is clean and comfortable with a large fully fenced yard for the dogs to play. He kept me updated on how Bogie was doing and sent pictures during the stay. I would highly recommend Michael and will be booking with him again soon!”

“We just adopted our dog and had only had her for a few weeks. We couldn’t take her on a trip we had planned and Laura was amazing!! Our dog was really nervous and she worked with her and she did so good. We will be using Laura again for sure!”

“Tania provided a wonderful home away from home for my senior dog! Her yard has plenty of space to move around and my dog easily made friends with her two dogs. Tania sent two or three updates each day with pictures and video, which put me at ease with it being my dog's first time away from home. I was booking last-minute, and Tania was upfront about another dog already being booked on what was the last day I needed someone to watch my dog, and I appreciated that so much. It was so easy communicating with her. Would definitely book her again if we have the need!”

“I’ve met 4 other sitters on here, and none of them even come close to being as impressive as Charlee. You can tell she really knows dog behavior. She is super knowledgeable and it shows in how she handles and interacts with dogs. Her own dogs are incredibly well trained, which made me feel even more confident leaving mine with her I felt so comfortable having her watch my dog overnight. She sent photos and videos throughout the stay, which made it so easy to relax knowing everything was going well. She even sent a video of my dog taking a nap, which she has never done at other sitter’s houses. My dog came home happy, calm, and clearly well taken care of. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who genuinely understands and cares about dogs.”

“These guys were fantastic! They kept me updated on how my dog was doing and she seemed perfectly happy there playing with their dogs and sleeping with their kids and stuff. I would totally use them again!”
“Crowe and Taylor are amazing and take such good care of our pup! We love the pictures, videos & updates they send us. We always know our pup is well loved, having the best time & taken care of.”

“Maria and Ian are wonderful dog sitters! Our dog, Scout, has been there multiple times. She is always so excited when she gets to their house and loves their sweet dog. Maria is fast at communicating and takes good care Scout's needs. We don't worry a bit when she is there!”

“Macie did a wonderful job taking care of Moose.💕 She sent lots of photos to show how well he was doing, and made me feel like he was being taken care of really well. We will be working with Macie again!”

About: Hi, my name is Annette and I have loved animals my whole life! I had show animals through my 4-H and FFA years where I was able to train, nuture, and love sheep and steers that I showed at the county fair. I was raised on a farm and had the opportunity to be able to also ride and care for horses. I have had two dogs in our family that have been loved and miss them dearly. I am at an age in my life where we can travel a little bit more without having to worry about dog care for myself anymore. I know how hard it is to find good loving care for your fur babies when the need for vacation or travel occurs. Thats why I would love to give those entrusted in my loving care to have a worry free vacation or drop in visits, providing walks and potty breaks when life gets busy. Here is a little background information about myself and my previously owned dogs that have been very loved and no longer with me. I do work a Physical Therapy job Monday - Thursday. Two days are half days and the other two are full 10 hour days. My black purebred pug named Angus was with me for almost 15 years. I recently lost our Dorky (yorkie/dachshund mix) named Bentley aka Mr. Beans also known as Mr. Weenie who was with us for just over 16 years. Grandma to our 3 year old grandpup Graham who is a long hair dachshund who visits us often. I found this Rover app and decided to give it a try as a side hobby to spend some time with your animals to help my heart heal as I love dogs! Dogs speak to my soul and therapy for our hearts! ❤️ I am currently working Monday thru Thursdays. Available to let dogs roam outside before work, lunch breaks, and after work with being crated during work hours only. My fenced in Back yard allows freedom to roam free, play, and explore. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard for your dog to run around and roam, or if you prefer me to come to your house that is also another option. love taking walks, whether it is around your neighborhood or mine, your dog is welcome with a harness or leash to come on a walk with me. I have 2 clean kennels or you can bring your own if you prefer and a home full of love.
“They are amazing. Super last minute. But took Zoey with open arms. They kept me updated the whole time with quick responses. I’ll definitely be using them every time I take a trip. My Zoey was even happy.”

Brittany took such good care of our 10 month old puppy Nala! We got back after an 11 day vacation and we could tell she was well cared for by Brittany. We appreciated the daily photos and updates we received every morning. Would definitely rebook Brittany for our vacation next year. I feel confident leaving our beloved pup in her hands. So much better for our pet than a cage in a Vet kennel boarding.

Sophonie is fantastic. Always takes great care of my dogs, and has even accommodated last minute requests, which I greatly appreciate. Her space is clean and in a nice neighborhood. My dogs always seem happy when I pick them up. Will continue to call her for watching my boys.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
