We chose Bailey based on her positive reviews regarding loving animals, taking care of others homes, and her quick communication and willingness to meet us and Charlie prior to booking. But unfortunately our experience did not reflect what others have shared, and was very upsetting after further review of our cameras after returning home. Where things fell short: * We provided clear morning and evening feeding/treat instructions with specific times, emphasizing that Charlie is sensitive to her routine. Despite this, her feeding and treat schedule was inconsistent each day—sometimes more than 4–5 hours off from what was instructed. * Charlie can roam freely in and out of the house through a dog door in our glassroom, but if the inner doors are closed she has no access to the dog door. This door was shut at times for 12 hours straight giving Charlie no access to the outside to go to the bathroom. * We explained that Charlie is a sensitive dog who experiences separation anxiety and needs a lot of attention like snuggling, one-on-one time, and outdoor playtime. We showed Bailey where Charlie’s toys were and emphasized the importance of interaction. Instead, Charlie was completely ignored, and although greeting Bailey with excitement at the door when she arrived at our house each day, Bailey would walk past her without acknowledgment. On camera, we later observed Charlie spending most of the 5 days alone in the basement, withdrawn and depressed. Bailey never sought her out, nor did she spend time with her outside in the yard or play with her as requested. What did happen instead: * She left our backyard lights on for two days straight. I only noticed on camera, and when I asked her to turn them off, she didn’t arrive until after 9pm—at which point she finally fed Charlie, hours past her scheduled 5pm meal time. * Without asking permission, she brought in large loads of her own laundry and used our washer and dryer for personal use. * She was inconsistent with times that she was at the house, spending most of her time eating and playing on her phone, regardless of Charlie begging for attention. We would not recommend her for “caring for your pup while you’re away”

Bailey was great. She took great care of the girls and our home. We will definitely use her again.
