I don't take care of pets in my house due to all the animals that we have here already. In other people's homes, I obey whatever the pet parents needs are. That can range from anything to just playing with the dogs inside to giving them walks or medications, etc.

I will pet sit any breed. I'll admit I am huge dog lover. I do have a strong love for Pitt Bulls, Cocker Spaniels, Chihuahuas and Miniature Dachshunds. How do they notify you in the middle of the night if they have to go to the bathroom? What is their diet? Is there a specific time of day to go on a walk/be fed? What is their personality?
A typical day
I love going for walks because we both get our exercise. I have neuropathy in my legs, so I have to take the dog(s) for two or three small walks during the day instead of one long walk. I don't mind where we go (city, a small hike, dog park, etc.) I play many games (fetch, tug of war, etc.

Pet care experience
I have a document on Google forms with questions that I ask the pet owners. If they have any other concerns then I request that they put them down in writing for me so I know for absolute certain what is needed. I love to play with puppies and dogs! I love to pet, cuddle..you name it! I am particularly fond of Pitt Bulls, Chihuahuas and Miniature Dachshunds. I volunteer for Best Friends Animal Society. I give comfort, I take the dogs outside to go to the bathroom and I help at the spay/neuter clinic they have in Ogden. I am currently available for walking dogs/quick visits anytime from 7 am to roughly 10 pm. I am willing to stay all day and even overnight. I have had a dog (at one point two) in my home/parent's home since I was a baby (34 years.) I wouldn't have it any other way. Dogs bring so much comfort and love to a person/family's life. They are always part of the family. In the section that lets people write reviews of me I do have one negative review. I was unable to take care of this couple's pets as well as I wanted to because I came down with the flu. It was unexpected as the flu is. I was only able to take care of the pets for one day instead of 5 days. I did not want to I was really bothered by this because I pride myself in fully taking care of people's pets because I know they are family. I know that the flu can be transmitted by animals and I did not want to risk that.

Ashley was really communicative and easy to work with. She took great care of our pups, including administering pill medication.
We had to replace her 24 hours into the 5 day contract. She understated her health problems and was unable to care for our 2 dogs and 1 cat. She sent numerous emails about questions she should have known and was completely irresponsible. I gave her 1 star for showing up the first day! She should not be doing this job.
Ashley really did a great job with my pups. From the first meet and greet to the days she stopped in. She kept in touch with me and send me pictures. She is very professional and loving. I will be using her in the future and highly recommend!!
