About: I have had two dogs that I have adopted in my life that I have cared for, and have fostered a number of others! Right now I have a bernese mountain dog named Denver who is 4 years old! Growing up I loved dogs and jumped at any opportunity to work with them. I have watched my neighbors dogs, friends dogs, and have volunteered at local animal shelters! I am comfortable doing most any task you may need! I currently work from home most days and I am able to be available when needed. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to provide diligent care for your pets! I have another dog who loves to keep other dogs company! He is extremely easy-going and is great at matching other dogs energy! I also have a crate that I can use to crate your animal if necessary!

“Katie is great.”

About: I have always been the first to offer to cat or dog sit for my friends. My own cat needs daily oral medication, so I understand the importance of timely medication. I can't wait to meet you and your pets. I am currently attending online school, so I will have a lot of availability to care for your pets! I'm new to the area, and excited to get myself out there. I'm attentive to animal body language, and know some animal first-aid. In case of an emergency, I'm also capable of lifting up to about 80 pounds.

About: Hi there! My name is Grace. I was a dog owner for a long time, and now I'm hoping to meet some new dogs and help you out in the process. I love to jog, and would be happy to take your dog for a run. I love to play fetch or whatever your dog's favorite game is. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I'm trained as a paramedic, so I'm responsible and cool-headed during emergencies. I love all dogs, but rescues and those scrappy-looking mutts hold a special place in my heart. I have experience with larger breeds as well. There's no dog too big or small for me! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I can devote as much time to your animals as you need! I am available on short notice. I love to stay active, so I love going for walks or playing with animals. I live right across from a park with tons of space to run and play.

About: I am new to Rover, but not new to pet care! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have become a frequent sitter for dogs in my social circle. I've cared for dogs across a range of sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages, and managed play groups of 3 or 4 at a time. I've also worked as a shelter volunteer and foster through Michigan Humane, and I currently live with a rambunctious 2-year-old Lab mix and a 14-year-old Shiba Inu. I have experience with shy, timid, and reactive dogs; I feel particularly fluent in reading their cues and responding as needed. I'm also comfortable with rowdy puppy energy, slow moving seniors, and various other quirks that every dog seems to have. Please reach out if there is anything in particular you want to discuss in advance! I mainly work evenings, so I am available for walks and drop-ins most days between 8am-4pm. My calendar reflects my availability during that timeframe. If you are looking for evening care on a day marked unavailable, please feel free to get in touch, as I am often available after 5pm on those days. My ultimate goal is to form the best possible relationships with my clients and their humans, and I can adjust my services to suit individual needs.

About: I’ve been an animal lover all my life and have often been called on to pet sit for friends and family. When I was younger, I wanted to be a veterinarian. At 17 I did an internship at my local animals hospital. As a result, I’m confident working with most animals and know what to look out for in terms of health issues and can give medications. Although I eventually left the pre-vet track, my love for animals has never wavered. I’m a self-employed writer and artist so I get to set my own schedule! I’m generally available between 8:30am to 8pm. I love doing longer housesits! I’m confident with cats and dogs and I have a list of questions I like to ask to make sure I do things just as you like. If I have any questions while caring for your pet I’ll make sure to reach out.

“Always dependable and sweet! Thank you”

About: I’ve had multiple years of experience with senior dogs, pets needing help with medication, or energetic pets requiring lots of play. I have two cats myself. I’m a musician with a flexible schedule so I can make time whenever they need me. Happy to do over nights or pop in visits. Ive found it best to try to keep animals routines and schedules as regular as possible from what they’re used to to minimize their stress.

“Thank you Jack for your help and great care of our two pup! So happy we found you.”

About: I volunteer at my local animal shelter and love to help in any way that I can. Friends and neighbors call me to animal sit because they know they’ll get the best service. I’m currently working from home and have a very flexible schedule. So, I can be available whenever you need me or if something comes up last minute and need a sitter! I have a puppy play area in my apartment which is technically outside, but it is very private, extremely safe and the number one place I take the dogs I care for to allow them to relax in a not so overwhelming environment. I also have a dog park across the street from me and I’ve learned how to calm animals, cradle them and solve any chaotic situation.

About: I've taken care of dogs since 2016. I got my first dog, then my second, and 3rd. Through that process, I learned how to train, dog psychology, and adventuring. I currently have over 50hours of volunteer experience at Friends of DACC caring for dogs looking for their next home. I have about 2 years of cat experience as well! I love pets and they tend to love me as well. I am aware of trauma and how to approach different types of pets - whether shy, past trauma experience, old age, or young puppies/kittens. I'm currently doing this full time and available when my schedule permits. I can do overnight stays or over the weekend. Ideally, I can attend to your pet 3x a day if house sitting. I am able to walk your pets, feed them, ensure they are adequately cared for and loved. Whatever they needs specific to them, I am available to provide.

“Was super responsive and flexible and did an amazing job with my pup!”

About: My home and job are in the Midtown area of Detroit but I'm willing to go the distance to make sure your animal is cared for. Can I love and spoil your pet like they are my own? I have a flexible schedule and would enjoy spending my extra time visiting with your pet. I am not a dog owner but play aunt to a timid staffie. I am an enthusiastic professional at fetch, belly rubs, and love going on long walks. I currently own two cats and am a fantastic snuggle buddy. I have a willingness to learn and understand what works best for your pet. I'd most like to understand the things that make your pet an individual and how we can become friends.

About: Growing up in a home filled with as many as 15 dogs at any given time, I was immersed in the world of professional dog training from an early age. My mother, a certified service and therapy dog trainer with CCPDT and IAABC credentials, passed on her wealth of knowledge to me as I assisted her in training and caring for our foster dogs. Over the past 25 years, I’ve gained invaluable hands-on experience in handling and training dogs of all temperaments. While I am currently working toward my own certification, my background allows me to provide expert-level care and understanding for your pets. I am confident that my lifelong experience can offer the perfect balance of love, care, and discipline that every dog needs. Thank you for considering me as your dog sitter—I look forward to the opportunity to care for your beloved companions. By day, I’m a director at a small airline which I work from home, which means I’ve got plenty of time to hang out and play with your best friend! I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays—let’s make sure your furry friends get the fun and attention they deserve! My home offers the perfect environment for your pup to play and relax. I have a fenced yard with a large sun shade, plenty of toys, and video surveillance for added peace of mind. Your dog will enjoy fresh, filtered water and healthy treats (with their human'a permission). For dietary reasons, their humans must provide their dog's food. Your pup is welcome to roam freely inside the house, but if you prefer them to be crated, I can accommodate that as well—just bring their crate along. Rest assured, your furry friend will be safe and comfortable in a clean, well-maintained, smoke-free home. As mentioned in my bio, I have extensive experience in dog care and training. Training services are also available for an additional fee for both the furry students and humans.

“Katie was super friendly and great with the pups, and was so patient even when my puppy gave her a hard time. She sends photos while she’s there and is great with communicating with you. She rocks!”

About: Hi, I’m Stefanía and YES: dogs are my favorite people ❤️ I’ve lived with fur babies my entire life so it is fair to say that I have plenty of experience walking, bathing, grooming (nothing fancy), feeding, playing, and cuddling with dogs all sizes. My boyfriend and I have fostered dogs and have taken care of our friend’s dogs/cats while they’re out of town. I’m a student but I take evening classes, so I can help you out during the weekends, and weekdays, specially at noon in case you can’t make it back home in the middle of the day to let your baby out! I feel very comfortable and happy doing everything dog related. I absolutely love walking, playing and being active with them. I’ll always follow your instructions in how to handle your dog(s) and provide them with a safety environment while having a great time! I understand how stressful it is to not know how your fur baby is doing during the day so I’ll update you directly!

About: Hello! My name is Avery ..... I have had dogs all throughout my life and plan to keep it that way! As a kid I grew up with with two beagles, a chocolate lab, a pit bull, and most recently a rescue shar pei/ lab mix. I love seeing every animals personality shine through and spoiling them with love and attention. I love animals of all breeds and sizes and would love the chance to meet yours! I am a current student so my schedule is semi flexible at the moment. Currently unavailable/working Tuesday evenings (although i pick up other shifts when im able). I try my best to keep my calendar updated to reflect my availability, please reach out if you have any questions! I am super active and would love to spend time outside walking with your pet if you' like and the weather allows! If not we can spend time in-doors playing.

“Katy housesat and took care of my cat for me while I was out of town for a week and did an amazing job! She followed cat instructions closely and spent a lot of time hanging out with her. 11. Erik M.
“Erik is a very caring and responsible pet owner who I’ve seen take so much extra care for animals. Whether it be his own pet or one of his friends or even a stranger’s, Erik takes great care to make sure the animals around him are comfortable and taken care of. I’ve seen him researching best tactics for cat caregiving many times as he thoughtfully implements good practices into his routines with his best friend and kitty Bumi. Bumi was a starving street cat when they met and Erik and him slowly courted each other until a trusting bond was made and Bumi moved in. I hear many stories about training and caring for his past animals who he holds dear to his heart.”

“Thank you Jack for your help and great care of our two pup! So happy we found you.”

13. Deborah G.
“To start off, Deborah is one of the nicest people I have met and have had watch my animals and home. She was respectful of my request and completed every task with no questions or concerns. I have a large Dog of my own and although Deborah is on the smaller side, she handled my big baby like it was nothing. I’ve had her be in charge of my animals and home every time I go out of town and she is always available. Hands down 5 star rating from my end!”

20. Avery H.
“Avery has been an incredible pet owner and caretaker since we met in 6th grade. Her dedication and love for animals are unparalleled, making her the perfect person to entrust with your fur babies. Personal experiences have proven her reliability and responsibility. Avery graciously stayed at my house to watch my two cats for over 2 weeks while I was out of the country. She treated them with the same love and care as I do, ensuring they felt comfortable and secure. I knew she had all situations under control which was comforting with me being so far away. Now having her own dog, she loves taking her high energy companion on long walks, visits parks, farmers markets, and arranges puppy playdates, all to enrich Goose's life with joy and social interactions.
