About: I’ve had dogs throughout my life. Small, medium, and large sized dogs, young and elderly dogs, dogs with low energy levels and dogs with high energy levels. I used to pet sit for my neighbors as well, including one neighbor who had two mastiffs and a dalmatian, and another neighbor with a chronically ill dog prone to accidents. I loved them all! I love to go on walks during my free time, so I’d love to walk to visit your pet, or take them along with me. I work part time on a flexible schedule and can easily fit most visit schedules into my day. I take the time to earn an animal’s trust, and go at a speed they’re comfortable with. If your animal wants me to pet and lay with them and brush them and play with them or anything else, I’m there! If your pet is more lowkey or independent, I check in on them and make sure they have everything they need. I look to care for your specific pet, not just check in and call it a day.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals ever since I was a child as my family had a farm when I was growing up. I have also rescued most of the animals that I’ve had and wish to rescue way more in the future. I’m currently enrolled in Schoolcraft community college studying nursing. I don’t have a job at the moment and have a lot of time on my hands so I would love to take care of your precious babies I actually will not be able to take care of your pets at my house as I do have some pets that don’t get along with other animals so I wouldn’t want to take the risk but I would love to come to your house and take care of your pets and walk them and look after them exactly how you want me to

About: We took care of our beloved dog for all 12 years of her life. Our house is fully equipped to give your dog a comfortable stay, including a fenced in back yard. And our kids will make sure your dog is entertained and well-loved. I stay home with one of my kids during the week while he does online school. Ideally, we would prefer dogs with moderate to low energy, who are not prone to barking a lot, so that my son won’t get distracted during school hours. We have a large house, designated pet area within the home, and a fenced in backyard. We have all the basic amenities to make your dog stay easy on you and comfortable for your dog. We have no other pets currently in the home, but we do have three kids ranging from 3-12 who are comfortable around dogs and have learned how to appropriately play with them.

About: I have been taking care of pets almost my whole life. I have watched as little as a kitten to as big as a 120lb dog. I don’t currently have a job so I am almost always available. Some weekends I might be away but very rarely. I will almost always make time to watch your pets I have a fenced in backyard for dogs. I like to spend as much time as possible with my pets. My pets are very friendly.

About: I’ve had multiple years of experience with senior dogs, pets needing help with medication, or energetic pets requiring lots of play. I have two cats myself. I’m a musician with a flexible schedule so I can make time whenever they need me. Happy to do over nights or pop in visits. Ive found it best to try to keep animals routines and schedules as regular as possible from what they’re used to to minimize their stress.

About: No matter the age or personality of your pet, I love them all and will happily care for them as if they're my own beloved pet. I'm a new empty nester who moved to Detroit from Austin, Texas and looking for something meaningful to do while I look for full time work. I don't just do the basics and run out, I also love to spend time giving your pet attention whether it's snuggles, scratches or playing fetch.

Over 200+ nights per year petsitting! Your place is my home, not just short visits. I love multiple pet households of 2, 3, 4 or more. I normally schedule only one family at a time, to give your pets focused attention. I am patient when it comes to your pets' anxiety or special needs. I love written instructions, and take medication seriously. Since I WFH, I can plan my day around tons of 1:1 time with your pets. I also offer daytime care in your home via Housesitting even if you don't need overnight, or you can book Drop Ins. I usually send you 2+ updates with photos per day. I'm mature, sober, nonsmoking; I don't vape or use drugs, not even caffeine. I have decades of experience caring for houses and pets. Note: All of December will be at Rover Holiday rates. After our initial visit, it is standard to do cold swaps: I arrive after you leave, and depart before you return. This means smoother transitions for pets and humans. One of the most common questions I get from new inquiries: Yes you can book multiple Drop Ins or Walks before your sit so we can all get to know each other better. This works really well. I keep one slot open on a weekday morning for Rover Meet and Greet. If that time does not work, you can absolutely request a day and time for a Drop In that fits with your schedule. Nonsmoking and nonvaping, clean homes only. A comfortable guest bed (or your bed) with fresh clean sheets is very important to me. Start times before 8am, end times after 8pm, drives over 15 minutes are each $30 additional, not included with your Rover estimate. Your home is my home base. I "move in" and bring my groceries/book/yoga mat/work things. Playtime, downtime, and sleepytime are spent with your pet, for tons of attention. About: Since I was in my teens I have lived a life with pets - both dogs and cats, and it has been such a rewarding journey so far! I have had two rescue dogs, a collie mix and a beagle, and they had my whole heart. I currently have a multi-cat household, and do TNR in my neighborhood where I can to help the outdoor stray cats. I have also rehomed multiple cats with the help of local rescue groups to ensure a long happy kitty life. Currently, I spend a great deal of time with my best buddy Rocco, an 8 year old black lab. I have experience with small dogs, medium sized dogs and large dogs and honestly enjoy them all the same! I also have experience with cats of all ages, from bottle feeding kittens to 18 year old seniors, and am comfortable giving any medications to dogs or cats as well. I know my way around all kinds of personalities and ages, whether it be those that want to play or those that need a slow, gentle walk and some extra attention. I have also been working with the same vet for 20+ years that can attest to my care and love for animals. I will treat every pet like my own - patient, attentive, and genuinely happy to spend time with them. Being around animals - that's my happy place. My hours at work have changed which allows me to be available Monday-Friday 11am-3pm. I'm available for walks, drops ins for potty breaks while you're at work, or to check on your kitties if you'll be gone longer than you'd like to be. Lots of time for playing with your furry family members! I would be happy to come to your home and treat it and your pets with respect and care. My personal cats are all fixed and up to date on shots, however I took in a stray girl last winter who is very scared of everything. I think it's best to let her rule the house and come to visit yours at your homes where they are most comfortable.
