“Best dog walker ever”

About: Hello! My name is Brianna and I'm currently a graduate student at the University of Michigan studying urban planning. I'm a huge animal lover who would love to care for your pet(s)! I've been around pets my entire life; my family has always had cats and dogs in our home. I love caring for animals, as pet care is something I've always been exposed to. Having grown up in a household with animals, I've familiarized myself with general pet-related care to ensure animals are both relaxed and taken care of. I have some rescue experience, and am always looking to create a safe, comfortable environment for any pet I encounter. I have a very flexible schedule and am more than capable of curating and sticking to a schedule that is reflective of your needs. I'm also open to working early mornings or late nights if needed. I've preformed dog-sitting and cat-sitting duties in the past successfully, and am very comfortable around new pets! I come from a family of animal lovers. I'm extremely grateful to have grown up in such an environment, as my family's love of animals has certainly rubbed off on me! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment tailored to each pet's unique needs. I respect routines and surroundings, keeping the pet’s environment familiar to reduce stress. I provide regular updates, keep the home tidy, and make sure the pet feels secure and well-loved throughout the stay. My goal is always to treat every pet as if they were my own.

“Thank you Jack for your help and great care of our two pup! So happy we found you.”

About: Almost all of my experience as a dog owner and sitter is with dogs that have come from shelters or other adopted situations. I have owned “retired” greyhounds that were severely traumatized, I have cared for small dogs with unknown, but clearly extremely difficult, past traumas, and I have stayed and bonded with boxers and pit bulls who are slow to trust but then become bed-hogging cuddlers! Recently, I had my first experience helping train a puppy! I spent five months with a family and their sweet cavipoo house training and leash training. I teach from home and so I am always home! Well, except for the occasional errand, appointment, etc. So, I would love the extra company and the excuse to get out of the house and get some exercise! I live in an apartment building so I do not have a fenced yard. However, I live on Lafayette Park where I walk daily. It is incredibly safe and I have gotten to know many of the pet parents in the building and the neighborhood. I have two five month old kittens that I adopted from a foster home two months ago where they lived with a dog. I am hoping to keep them exposed to other animals so that when I have a larger place, I will be able to expand my family of pets.

“Ashley was such a great sitter & walker for goose! Great at communicating and took time to come over and meet him prior to his visit. We definitely plan on using her again!”

“Raeshawn is amazing with my dog!”

“Marissa is amazing!! During our meet and greet, she was very attentive and asked thoughtful questions that showed me she is well-versed in dog behavior. Her communication is prompt and friendly, and I could tell my dogs adored her!!”

“Jeannette did such a wonderful job over the weekend! Gus had a blast and she sent so many pictures and gave us all the details. Will be booking her again!! :)”

About: I have taken care of various types of dog babies across many states. I learn quickly about what a dog needs especially when factoring in weather. I work from home most days and run in the evening. Usually long distance runs are in the morning so not inconvenient for night stays. For my home, I have a very spacious dog park and closed in balcony. Also live close to the riverwalk for night walks. There is space in home for medium sized crates if necessary.

About: Hello! My name is Avery ..... I have had dogs all throughout my life and plan to keep it that way! As a kid I grew up with with two beagles, a chocolate lab, a pit bull, and most recently a rescue shar pei/ lab mix. I love seeing every animals personality shine through and spoiling them with love and attention. Each one of my dogs has loved the outdoors (almost as much as me) and had lives full of adventure and exercise. I have also lived with cats and love them (through my previous roommate). I love animals of all breeds and sizes and would love the chance to meet yours! I am a current student so my schedule is semi flexible at the moment. Currently unavailable/working Tuesday evenings (although i pick up other shifts when im able). I try my best to keep my calendar updated to reflect my availability, please reach out if you have any questions! I am super active and would love to spend time outside walking with your pet if you' like and the weather allows! If not we can spend time in-doors playing.

“Joe was great! I booked him to walk Graé several times while I flew to Detroit for an interview. Unfortunately, Graé suffered a dog attack the day before I was set to leave so that added a little more burden on Joe than anticipated. Joe walked, fed and administered Graé's meds in the evening and the morning. To make sure they got along Joe stopped by my place the night before for a meet and greet with my pup. While gone, Joes sent photos and updates to his time with him; I great help! I will definitely be using joe again if the need arises and he's available.”

About: Hi, I'm Ashton! I grew up with both cats and dogs and truly love both, as well any other furry/scaly/feathery animal you might have. I was also a nanny for about 8 years and in addition to caring for the children and the home, I took care of the pets of each family I worked for. I have experience with puppies and kittens to older, slower animals and always cater my care to a pet's unique needs and personality. I'm more than happy and able to assist with any medication administration, training, and exercising of high-energy dogs. As someone with a million photos of my cats and dog, I will also make sure you get the cutest shots of them living their best lives while you are away. Over the years of experience with child, home, and pet care, I have proved myself to be reliable and flexible and hope to gain your pets' and your trust. I look forward to meeting you! I have a flexible schedule and can be available any day of the week for drop-ins, walks, and overnights. Whether it's early mornings or late nights, I can be your reliable source for pet care! I never rush an animal to be comfortable with me but will gladly give them the love and attention they need when they're ready! I always make sure to listen closely to any guidance given to me by pet owners to make every visit go smoothly.

I understand how deeply we love our animals, and I’ll treat yours with the same love, attention, and care they deserve. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide consistent care throughout the day. Whether it's playtime, walks, or cuddles ٰ I treat every pet like family. I focus on making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable, especially in their own space. I always follow your instructions and stick to their routines so they feel at home

About: My name is Kate and my love for animals is what prompted me to enter the world of pet care. I grew up in a home with dogs and guniea pigs and learned early on how to be responsible in caring for a pet. The Humane Society was close to my childhood home, I would walk there weekly to go in and visit all the different animals and dreamed of owning a bunch one day myself. Later on in my twenties I learned what it was like to have a cat and now am a self proclaimed, obsessed with all the things cat. Currently I have two cats, a spunky Bengal named Benny and a sophisticated tuxedo baby named Olive. My hobbies include weightlifting, walking, yoga, ceramics, listening to podcasts, reading, baking and traveling. I currently work full time Mon-Thurs, 4 days a week which allows me to have, Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning or afternoons available for drop-in visits or walking your pet. I currently am not able to board any other animals in my home as I have two cats that prefer to be the only pets.

Lizabeth W.
“Liz W. loves animals. She cared for our boxer for two weeks during the dog flu pandemic a year and a half ago when we were advised not to board him. We had the trip planned prior to our adoption of Chance. Liz to the rescue!! She took great care of our home and Chance. Occasionally she will call to say hi and Chance goes nuts when he hears her voice.”

Avery H.Star Sitter
“Avery has been an incredible pet owner and caretaker since we met in 6th grade. Her dedication and love for animals are unparalleled, making her the perfect person to entrust with your fur babies. Personal experiences have proven her reliability and responsibility. Avery graciously stayed at my house to watch my two cats for over 2 weeks while I was out of the country. She treated them with the same love and care as I do, ensuring they felt comfortable and secure. I knew she had all situations under control which was comforting with me being so far away. Now having her own dog, she loves taking her high energy companion on long walks, visits parks, farmers markets, and arranges puppy playdates, all to enrich Goose's life with joy and social interactions. Avery's hardworking nature and unwavering trustworthiness make her an ideal pet owner. She wholeheartedly cares for animals, and her dedication ensures that your beloved pets will receive the utmost attention, love, and care they deserve. Rest assured, your furry friends will be in excellent hands with Avery, and she will flawlessly fulfill their every need.”
