About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was old enough for my parents and neighbors to trust me! Grew up with multiple of my both in the house and naturally my first job was dog walking and house sitting around the neighborhood. Have experience working with older pets, puppies / kittens, and large breeds. Currently, live in the Corktown neighborhood with my Australian Shepherd Mel. If you see us out on a walk, say hello! I'm currently working part-time, so my schedule is flexible to accommodate your ideal walking and / or care schedule. My Australian Shepard Mel and I walk around Corktown daily and am always up for spending more time outside! For Dog Walking: I follow your lead on your dog's tendencies / preferences. I adhere to your preferred routes and instructions regarding leash etiquette, avoiding off-leash situations unless explicitly discussed and approved. If your dog enjoys canine company, I'm happy to bring my Aussie Mel along, who loves walking with friends! If your dog likes playing ball / frisbee, happy to discuss how we can accommodate that as well. For In-Home Pet Check-ins: I pay close attention to your pet's behavior and appetite, reporting any concerns to you immediately. I ensure fresh water is always available and clean up any messes promptly. I prioritize respecting your space, leaving it just as I found it.

About: I have taken care of various types of dog babies across many states. I learn quickly about what a dog needs especially when factoring in weather. I work from home most days and run in the evening. Usually long distance runs are in the morning so not inconvenient for night stays. For my home, I have a very spacious dog park and closed in balcony. Also live close to the riverwalk for night walks. There is space in home for medium sized crates if necessary.

About: My name is Kate and my love for animals is what prompted me to enter the world of pet care. I grew up in a home with dogs and guniea pigs and learned early on how to be responsible in caring for a pet. The Humane Society was close to my childhood home, I would walk there weekly to go in and visit all the different animals and dreamed of owning a bunch one day myself. Later on in my twenties I learned what it was like to have a cat and now am a self proclaimed, obsessed with all the things cat. Currently I have two cats, a spunky Bengal named Benny and a sophisticated tuxedo baby named Olive. My hobbies include weightlifting, walking, yoga, ceramics, listening to podcasts, reading, baking and traveling. I currently work full time Mon-Thurs, 4 days a week which allows me to have, Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning or afternoons available for drop-in visits or walking your pet. I currently am not able to board any other animals in my home as I have two cats that prefer to be the only pets.

About: I am a former teacher and I love dogs as much as I love kids. Dogs are creatures who need attention, affection and lots of kisses! I live in the heart of Downtown Detroit and is walking distance from Comerica Park, Ford Field, Campus Martius Park, Fox Theater, The Filmore & Little Caesars Arena. I live in the heart of downtown Detroit and I enjoy walking my dog several times a day. We go to the doggie parks that are in close proximity to the apartment, and we have a dog park at my apartment complex that’s great for meet and greets with other dogs. I would care for pets in someone else’s home by respecting the area in which the dog is most comfortable meaning changing pee, pee pads, making sure their food and water bowls are full. And I will make sure that their dog is treated as if the owner were at home with lots of belly rubs. I care for my dog in my home the same way I make sure it’s a clean environment a safe environment, where my dog feels comfortable.

In your home, I treat the space with care and stay mindful of doors, gates, and any potential risks. (I have my own "Harry Husky Houdini", so I understand an escape artists.) If something seems off, I’ll check in right away. At my home, pets stay in a safe, pet-friendly space with no toxic plants or hazards. We have a doggy door for easy access outside, but all outdoor time is supervised. I never do off-leash time unless we’re in a fully fenced/secure area and you’ve approved it. I tend to communicate often, so you'll always know how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to feel just as at ease, because as a fellow pet parent, I know how hard it can be to be apart.

About: I’m not going to lie I don’t have any experience professionally taking care of pets, but I have three Australian Shepherds and one pitbull they are my pride and joy! I know what it’s like worrying about your pets while your at work. Are they ok? Do they need water? Do they need to go potty? It’s not a good feeling to have! I want to help you with that! Whether it be your pup comes to my house or I run to yours to let yours out you won’t be disappointed. My boys are spoiled rotten! They have a lot of energy and love to wrestle! They have lived with smaller dogs and my boys know how to act around them.. even if the little dogs don’t have the nicest personalities! I am currently a stay at home mom who is finishing up her bachelors in preparation for law school in the fall. So I have plenty of free time during the day. My boys are all spoiled rotten. My pitbull naps on the couch all day, while my other boys terrorize the neighbors dogs. My house is pretty hectic during the day but calms down at night. I will always treat your animals with the best care. I am a sucker for giving treats!

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and fish (my own) and for neighbors, friends, and family. I’m attentive, reliable, and very communicative, and I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I follow feeding schedules closely, provide walks and potty breaks as instructed, administer medication when needed, and crate pets if requested. I aim to keep each pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I have open availability and keep my calendar updated regularly. For longer or extended care needs, I appreciate 12–24 hours’ notice so I can plan accordingly. On Mondays and Wednesdays, my evenings are limited, but I’m available mornings and afternoons on those days. I’m otherwise flexible and happy to coordinate to make sure your pet’s needs are fully covered. I will make sure they are fed in a timely manner and they take their medications if needed. I can crate your dog as well.

About: We took care of our beloved dog for all 12 years of her life. Our house is fully equipped to give your dog a comfortable stay, including a fenced in back yard. And our kids will make sure your dog is entertained and well-loved. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my husband and I are both gone at work from 7:30am-5pm. So ideally, your dog would be comfortable being alone for an extended period of time if they are with us on those days. All the other days of the week, someone will be home. We have a large house, designated pet area within the home, and a fenced in backyard. We have all the basic amenities to make your dog stay easy on you and comfortable for your dog. We have no other pets currently in the home, but we do have three kids ranging from 3-12 who are comfortable around dogs and have learned how to appropriately play with them.

About: Hello! My name is Avery ..... I have had dogs all throughout my life and plan to keep it that way! As a kid I grew up with with two beagles, a chocolate lab, a pit bull, and most recently a rescue shar pei/ lab mix. I love seeing every animals personality shine through and spoiling them with love and attention. Each one of my dogs has loved the outdoors (almost as much as me) and had lives full of adventure and exercise. I have also lived with cats and love them (through my previous roommate). I love animals of all breeds and sizes and would love the chance to meet yours! I am a current student so my schedule is semi flexible at the moment. About: I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's. I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet. I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.

About: I lived in a small family farm for 20 years of my life which led to me being a die hard animal lover! My parents would always adopt and foster both cats and dogs (along with some farm animals!) so I have experience taking care of many different breeds of dogs, from chihuahuas to basset hounds and huskies. Unfortunately my landlord does not allow pets in my residence, but helping families with their pets while they’re gone fuels my pet withdrawals while making sure their furry friends are well taken care of! I’m available in the morning and evenings, and am able to leave work during breaks to do a quick check in on pets! Weekends are completely open. My schedule is very flexible and I am able to work with families to make sure their pets get the attention and care they need! Although I grew up with dogs on the couch and in bed I will always respect the owner’s house rules. Multiple walks a day, respecting scheduled feeding times, and most of all giving all of my attention to your furry friends!

About: I’ve had dogs throughout my life. Small, medium, and large sized dogs, young and elderly dogs, dogs with low energy levels and dogs with high energy levels. I used to pet sit for my neighbors as well, including one neighbor who had two mastiffs and a dalmatian, and another neighbor with a chronically ill dog prone to accidents. I loved them all! I love to go on walks during my free time, so I’d love to walk to visit your pet, or take them along with me. I work part time on a flexible schedule and can easily fit most visit schedules into my day. I take the time to earn an animal’s trust, and go at a speed they’re comfortable with. If your animal wants me to pet and lay with them and brush them and play with them or anything else, I’m there! If your pet is more lowkey or independent, I check in on them and make sure they have everything they need. I look to care for your specific pet, not just check in and call it a day.
