About: I love all animals and grew up with dogs, both rescues, one big one small. Although I don’t have a pet of my own now, Rover gives me the chance to give care and spend time with the furry friends that give us unconditional love. I’m currently working freelance so I have the flexibility of making my own schedule, and time to spend giving attention to your pets and whatever needs they have. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe in their own space. My first priority is to make your dog or cat feel comfortable with me.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals ever since I was a child as my family had a farm when I was growing up. I have also rescued most of the animals that I’ve had and wish to rescue way more in the future. I’m currently enrolled in Schoolcraft community college studying nursing. I don’t have a job at the moment and have a lot of time on my hands so I would love to take care of your precious babies I actually will not be able to take care of your pets at my house as I do have some pets that don’t get along with other animals so I wouldn’t want to take the risk but I would love to come to your house and take care of your pets and walk them and look after them exactly how you want me to

About: I’ve had multiple years of experience with senior dogs, pets needing help with medication, or energetic pets requiring lots of play. I have two cats myself. I’m a musician with a flexible schedule so I can make time whenever they need me. Happy to do over nights or pop in visits. Ive found it best to try to keep animals routines and schedules as regular as possible from what they’re used to to minimize their stress.

About: We took care of our beloved dog for all 12 years of her life. Our house is fully equipped to give your dog a comfortable stay, including a fenced in back yard. And our kids will make sure your dog is entertained and well-loved. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my husband and I are both gone at work from 7:30am-5pm. So ideally, your dog would be comfortable being alone for an extended period of time if they are with us on those days. All the other days of the week, someone will be home. We have a large house, designated pet area within the home, and a fenced in backyard. We have all the basic amenities to make your dog stay easy on you and comfortable for your dog. We have no other pets currently in the home, but we do have three kids ranging from 3-12 who are comfortable around dogs and have learned how to appropriately play with them.

About: I have cared for pets of all sizes and ages since I was a child. My love for animals has led me to be a reliable caretaker for any pet! About: I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's. I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet. I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.

About: I have a family dog of 12 years that I helped my parents train. I have also fostered multiple dogs including senior dogs who were on medication and needed more attention. I am currently a 2nd year Physican Assistant student at the University of Detroit Mercy. I am entering my clinical year, meaning I will be working different shifts each month for an entire year. Due to my very diverse schedule, I would be able to pick up shifts as needed and can be flexible from month to month. I live in an apartment complex in Midtown Detroit. The complex has a large gated fence around it that many dogs go out to. My apartment is about 500 square feet and is suitable for small to medium sized dogs!

I have 3 years of experience with many happy, repeating Rover clients. My clients and their pets mean a lot to me! My full-time job as a registered nurse means my schedule changes weekly. I have a lot of flexibility, and can usually accommodate irregular schedules. About: My family got a Weiner dog six years ago so I’m used to stubborn dogs and I have watched and taken care of nervous shelter dogs! Currently working part time and pet sitting on the side. I take them on walks and they keep me company when I work it works great!! I prefer to house sit, I have a small studio apartment and find dogs more comfortable in their own homes with less hassle flexible with location.
