About: What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and genuine love for animals of all temperaments. I have experience caring for both energetic dogs and sensitive cats, including shy or anxious pets. I pay close attention to each animal’s routine, body language, and comfort level, ensuring safe, stress-free walks and visits. I treat every pet like they’re my own, with reliability, consistency, and lots of affection. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine as I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to each pet’s needs. I am able to plan walks, feeding visits, and playtime consistently throughout the day, including mornings and afternoons. This allows me to give pets reliable attention, follow their routines closely, and provide calm, unhurried care without time pressure or distractions. When caring for pets in clients’ homes, I prioritize safety, trust, and respect for the environment at all times. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, ensuring pets remain secure, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I maintain a calm, attentive presence so animals feel safe and relaxed. I also respect the client’s home by keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. Building trust through reliability, clear communication, and responsible care is at the heart of everything I do.
“Lauren did a great job handling our 3.5 yr old pug. She has a limp from a recent injury and Lauren was great, playing with her inside rather than doing a full walk which the vet told us not to do for a while. Additionally, she did everything we asked to a T, when the request was last minute. Thank you so much Lauren!”
“Azariah is the best! She accommodated last minute and my girls loved her! They are dog reactive and have to be walk separately and Azariah had no problem either. She’s the sweetest and communicated well with me. 10/10 will recommend and will be using her again”

“I had a regular walker cancel for a life interruption last minute on my midterm test day and Lukis was wonderful. It was as if they were Kronk’s caretaker for months. He was happy and I had no worries about him while I was testing. I would definitely go to them again for any caretaking needs in the future.”

“Randi professionally amicably, efficiently and thoroughly cared for my Shih Tzu during this last trip that I was gone out of state. I really appreciate the way that she took care of my dog and documented with thorough feedback. I feel confident using rover.com because of the communication and the insurance.”

“Callie did a fantastic job taking my dog out for walks this week! She is friendly and easy to communicate with, engaging and caring toward my pup, and I would absolutely reach out to her again for pet care.”

About: I’ve been a cat caretaker for most of my life, including my two fur babies, Zelda & Yoshi, numerous pet-sitting sessions for friends and family, and years on Rover! I will treat your babies like they are my own ❤️ I work 9am-6pm from home, but otherwise I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time for drop-in visits & (very important) playtime and snuggles. I offer complimentary “getting to know you” visits so that you and your furry friend(s) can meet me and go over your pet’s needs and preferences. I love sending photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind and see how your pet is doing.
About: *We currently have one foster cat Hello there, My name is Karen / but not 'a Karen,' I swear. I volunteer walking dogs at the local shelter so am comfortable with pretty much all pets (but we do live in an apartment so please see bottom section for ones we cannot care for). We have fostered everything from energetic puppies to FIV+ cats, couch potatoes to zoomie kings-and-queens. Seniors and animals who need lots of affection are our specialties! We have one dog. She is 7 lbs, 14 years old, blind, and stays in a bedroom sleeping for the most part. Fosters come and go and will be noted on the top line if current residing. I am not regularly working because of some health issues, so there is a ton of flexibility in my schedule and in our home. If I'm not around, my boyfriend Dave usually is: sometimes he might be the one caring for and walking your pet, or meeting up with you for pick up/drop off. Once in a while, I work 8 hour shifts on weekends, but he is home during that. After doing Rover for a few months, we realized that Dave ends up doing quite a bit! Please know that even though you'll mostly be messaging me through the app, he will play a very big part in the pet-sitting. Between the two of us, your pet will not be alone much at all while boarding. We also have lots of toys, beds, a crate, and snacks, so all you’ll have to bring is food. To me, there is no point in having a pet unless you're going to spoil them. I will do everything possible to make sure your loved one isn't missing you too much. There are a few pets we’re unable to take. Our apartment can be noisy with people outside, neighbors coming in and out, etc…If your dog is nervous and fearful, those noises can exacerbate that in an already strange situation/new place for them. We also want to be respectful of our neighbors so cannot take loud, constant barking. A normal amount is expected : ) Because we have so many furry friends coming and going, we now require vaccination records and proof of purchase for flea meds before your first visit. I typically do photos and updates once in the evening around 7:00 or 8:00 but can do more or less if you’d like! I tend to be a yapper so try to limit myself to just once haha Generally, I just am very loving to all creatures. I volunteer a lot and am used to many, many kinds of animals. I live in a loft, so that can be confusing sometimes for dogs who are used to going potty in a yard (leashed potty break on a city street and puppy pads are what typically do here), but there is plenty of space to run around in the loft because it is one open space, so playtime is not an issue.
About: I am trained in Dog Behavior and Management from my previous job at Camp Bow Wow. I’m bubbly, kind, and patient with humans and dogs. I recently moved away from home where my family dog lives. But when I was home I did all feeding, bathing, walks, playing, and training. I have a fenced in backyard and friendly neighborhood dogs that love to play (if your pup is interested and comfortable). Availability 24/7 for walks.

“Jeanette is the best. She is so thoughtful in how she takes care of our little monster. Details like throwing ice in his bowl and making sure he is safely taken care of on a hot day mean so much to us. 🐶❤️”

About: I have helped take care of my family dog for the last 10 years. I now live away from home and I am missing my time with my dog! I enjoy walking and bathing dogs. My family dog has a very strict eating and medicine routine, so I am used to being meticulous about pet care. I am a medical student at Wayne State University, however, I have some flexibility in my schedule. I am available consistently in the evenings, but with enough notice, I can make other times work during the day. I will make sure to follow any instructions on not only direct pet care, but if you need me to shut doors, keep lights on, etc. to make sure your dog is as safe and comfortable in your home as possible:)

About: I grew up taking every opportunity I could to care for and spend time with my neighbors' dogs and had a family dog for 6 years. I have experience with administering oral and topical medications, as well as with treating minor wounds and infections. I also volunteer regularly at the Humane Society which has given me extra experience with dogs with trauma or disabilities, and senior or unsocialized dogs. I'm currently only working in-person during the evenings Monday-Thursday. Other than that I'm mostly working from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I unfortunately don't have a yard or lots of room in my apartment but I live only a short walk from a dog park, which I'd be able to visit regularly. I mostly work from home so I'm able to give frequent walks and snuggles!
About: Hi there! I've had pets of all kinds my entire life, so I'm very comfortable with all sorts of animals. My mom and I began fostering dogs for a rescue when I was very young so I've also been handling big groups of dogs of all ages for most of my life. My mom runs a local dog rescue and offers training, so she's definitely honed my dog handling skills quite a bit. I love dogs of all sizes, especially big dogs! My own dog at home is not very energetic, so I would love to play with some more active dogs as well. My schedule can be pretty flexible and I'm often on-the-go. Please let me know if there's any special accommodations your pet needs. I'm looking forward to hearing from you! I currently work two part-time jobs with flexible schedules and relatively short shifts, so I'm able to care for pets easily around my daily schedule. I have experience with dogs with a wide variety of temperaments and needs, so I'm able to cater my approach to each individual pet. I'm big on respecting dogs' boundaries, especially in their own spaces, because my own dog is very shy.
About: I have always been the first to offer to cat or dog sit for my friends. My own cat needs daily oral medication, so I understand the importance of timely medication. I can't wait to meet you and your pets. I am currently attending online school, so I will have a lot of availability to care for your pets! I'm new to the area, and excited to get myself out there. I'm attentive to animal body language, and know some animal first-aid. In case of an emergency, I'm also capable of lifting up to about 80 pounds.
“Paige was great with Frank! She took the time to meet him before his first walk with her and review his commands and other nuances with that would help things run smoothly. I recommend Paige and will definitely reach out for future walks/help with Frank!”

About: Iv grown up closely with animals and always had them around ever since I was little. My family and friends have always been able to rely on me to take care of their animal’s I’m currently taking two classes at Wayne State and my classes are online so I will have a lot of time to play and take them for walks. I will be able to take them on long or short walks around the neighborhood, feed and take them out if need or change pee pad
“So glad that I hired Breanna for walking my son Chico! She sent pics and regular updates, and was so kind. I felt very comfortable leaving Chico in her care. Would definitely recommend!”

Raven has walked Harlem multiple times and she has boarded him she sends me so many videos and her commutation is amazing she takes such good care of my lil pug also she had a midnight walk that work for me since I’m a bartender on my late nights she such a joy for me and Harlem he will see you in a few days

Jessica came right away when I realized I had a very busy day of work. She took my boys out for an hour, which takes a lot of patience. One is always a nervous wreck and pulls on the leash/ is reactive, while the other is a slow walker and smeller with leg braces- a mix that is usually enough to drive anyone crazy. She did amazing tiring them out for me and I’d hire her again! They just got back, and they are both already asleep!
